I once stopped at a different UPS store, as it was on my way running errands, and received far less than even the superficial "professional" customer service one would expect at any business establishment. The Crescent UPS staff have never requested I do their job, and for that I am grateful. The line may get long, but each employee will serve you with courtesy.

When you walk in, you can never expect to get a smile, usually not even a greeting, even when you're standing in line for a while. Always only one employee. Nothing moving quickly or efficiently. No surprise here, this idiot customer parked her car right in front of the store taking up one and a half parking spots. Behind the employee was a poor UPS driver with a dolly full of packages just simply waiting to get past him to his truck. Trapped behind the counter with the employee blocking the walk way. He stood there for what seems like forever because this employee couldn't even be courteous enough to take five steps to the right let him pass by. Before this, the employee is having a conversation with this passport customer about how this is his girlfriend's neighbor and what cars are in the driveways and what color houses they are for identifying markers. All while I sat there waiting patiently, a line collecting a line behind me. The woman behind me left her letter and left. I finally took my packages and walked out, super pissed as I write this. Probably should wait until I cool off, but an angry toy he speaks a truthful heart. I waited foreverrrrrrrrrrrr for nothing. This morning was a complete display of lack of consideration, respect and urgency for other people's time. I can't stand this location. But at the end of the day, I know better than to come here.

When I picked it up the owner seemed confused and simply handed it over -- no acknowledgment, no apology, zero accountability. I genuinely wanted this to work. It didn't. I tried FedEx / UPS store (only nominally less by a few cents, the Local Library in Concord (too inconvenient because they only accept dollar bills), and a printing press in Concord (equally comparable to copymat but they closed by the time I got out of work). I was in and out in less than 10 mins and I paid 50-60% less than what I would have paid for at FedEx or UPS store. I will definitely come back here if I need photocopy needs.

My mailbox has a lock and key, but suddenly the key would not turn. I had a suspicion something was blocking the key from turning as we have never changed the locks. After calling many times with no answer, and filing two reports online and in person, I went to this post office location. The manager of this location in Walnut Creek had someone managing my route extract all of my mail for me and hand deliver it to me at an agreed upon meeting time. She was such a nice person she had completed her route in my area and drove back to help me, which I needed as it's tax time and my mailbox had been blocked for 2 weeks. It turned out to be a massive Restoration Hardware marketing magazine I never ordered or wanted that was taking up so much space it blocked my key from turning the lock to open it all the way. A big thanks to the manager and route driver for finally getting this solved for me! I'm not surprised the phone tree and main online report didn't work. USPS seems short staffed. But the people in our local community came through. Thanks a bunch. :)
