Hello All! I just had to Yelp about an issue we have been having with our post office and the comment our postman made today. So, since our office has been opened (Aug. 2011) I noticed that our mail was not being picked up everyday... Hmmmm... Maybe I don't know the rules of business pick up in our complex? Well, when addressed the first time in Oct. 2011 I was told that our mail should be picked up everyday except for Sunday's of course. That being said our mail delivery and pick up improved, but not for long. The pick ups became few and far between again. When I called a SECOND time in Jan. 2012 I spoke with another "manager" telling me that the days that our postman wasn't picking up were his days off. Ok, makes sense but where is the sub? "Oh, she didn't know there was an operating business there. I'll inform her." Ok, that kind of makes sense? But did we not have ANY mail for our office? Oh well.... Let's see if things get better. Now, this week starting 2/20 no pick up on the 21st or 22nd. Time sensitive material here folks!!! And I am tired of rushing to the office or mail box b/c I'm off at 5 p.m. when last pick up is called. Mr. mail man shows up today and I ask, "we're you off yesterday"? He says, "no". I say, "why has our mail not been picked up"? He says, "I do not stop if I don't have mail for you". OH MY are you serious??? "I didn't know that's how things worked with the post office"? He nods then says "yes". I'm about to rip my hair out folks! But remained calm and called our local post office here on Lewis Road in San Jose, again. I would give this zero stars if I could the service was shit. I was irritated by the end of it. I came in all good and happy then when it was my turn this Asian lady was hella rude. I tried to show her why I was here to pick up a package but she wouldn't listen. Eventully she searched for it for like a minute and didn't ask me details. She looked at all the small packages and couldn't find it and I was like it's one of the bigger packages and it was international too. When she put it on the shelf I was trying to adjust it cause I was scared it would fall off and she was hand offs in like the rudest way. She told me to write my name in print and address and to which i finsihed she sarcastically said," you no sign?". I was like ok and then left. I was in a rage on the ride home. read more

This post office is shit. Their hours are from 9 am to 5 pm but they don't open on time and close 15 minutes early! Last time I went there to pick up a package and they closed at 4:45!!! I had to go back there on another day -.- they are also very rude and slow! read more

Quite possibly the worst customer service ever. They lost my passport in October & no one bothered to contact me, I only knew when I got nervous by November & called to check on the status. Both supervisors Paul & some other guy Tim or whatever could not help me in anyway other then apologize. Told me to go apply for a new passport, I leave in a month and I can't pay to expedite it, you think they would care a little more and help me. I'm amazed something could be scanned in but not leave for a month and no red flags come up, no one bothers to follow up. I'm losing my mind right now :( read more

Incompetent and rude. Lady answered the phone, and was very short with me. Left me on hold for 6 minutes. I called back, only to now deal with a just-as-rude male worker. Long story short, they lost an item I was expecting in the mail. read more

would give half a star if it was possible. carriers are amazing but staff in that location are horrible. they're mean and have attitude. they never pick up the phone, i called 5 times. they also take 10 minutes to walk up to the front after you ring the bell they have. a waste of time going here. read more

Today when I went out to get my mail I saw the us postal worker I asked her is she was finished with my section of the boxes as I was asking her she yelled no! And that I am not even suppose to be out there while she is there! I asked her for her name and supervise she then told me I will not fucking give you my name! I can not believe this type of behavior and it concerns me that someone with that type of attitude is handling my mail. What ever happened to professionalism? read more

I was a little shock to be the only customer at these location. But after my experience I understand why. Poor service, they don't accept credit card and debit. Only cash. No stamps or boxes or shipping. This is more of a warehouse than an actual retailer. read more

Horrible! Tried calling various times and no one answers ! Why even have a number or someone working the phone to answer if your not going to answer! I paid for two day shipping and apparently they "attempted" to deliver when they did not I was home ALL day and now it says it is being held at customers request when I never requested that... lies for real. read more

I've only used the drive up mail boxes, but I find them very convenient. It's hard enough now adays trying to find one of those where I can easily return my Netflix. read more

Opened late even though their hours say 9:00 am. Not cool when youre in a rush, rude employees.

I have been tracking for my package since it was shipped. Poor tracking system, and the status changed from Out for Delivery to Available for Pickup after this office was closed!! I had no choice but to wait another day for my package. USPS really sucks!! read more

The worse of all this place should fire some rude and greedy employees here. I received a damaged package but actually it been opened and stolen by this office. Another package stacked here for over a Month . I complained to the seller so much and they finally released my package after a month. 3 other items shipped from China lost over this office also. these reviews are pretty old. wish they had facilities to mail packages, even that automatic machine like some other post offices. but the people at the window have always been perfectly nice and polite in the 4-5 times over the last 2 years I've been there. Just thought they deserved a not-horrible rating. Obviously, they've improved since '08! read more

I bought something online and the seller miscalculated the shipping cost, so I had to pick it up from USPS myself. I didn't think to check what their hours were on a Saturday, and it was closed when I got there. I was already not very happy that I had to pick up my package due to the seller's fault, and thought I'd have to come back again. Thankfully, one of the staff was picking up mail from the mailboxes outside. He was kind enough to offer to go back in and look for my package. Thank you!! read more

lazy mailmen! one of them has the practice that he doesn't deliver packages, he just drops the notice of the package in your box. when asked directly he tells you to go get it your self. !!@*t he is paid to deliver the mail, it isn't part of his job to pick and choose what he delivers and if he doesn't like my mail I have to take time off work and go to the post office and get it my self I complained to the postmaster and got...ya,ya, what ever kind of response they deserve a lower rating! read more

how long does it take to find a package? slow. and why do you need to keep the door closed is it to hide how inefficient you are?

I work at a business and today I received 18 pieces of mail that did not belong to us. Each piece of mail belongs to different establishments ranging from your property taxes, social security admin, to people's paychecks. I went to the nearest post office which is on Alvin Ave and the Supervisor basically wanted to refuse my efforts to getting this mail in the proper hands. She told me I needed to go to "my" post office for zip code 95121. I refused to take the mail with me and left her my complaint and the mail. This has been an ongoing problem for several months and despite my written complaint months ago, the problem has gotten worse. read more

I don't even think they deserve any star. Their mailmen deliver wrong mails to wrong address. FOUR times, I got my neighbors mails (letters +ads). And a few times (I can't remember how many time) have I not get anything not even and add. Don't know if they sent to other mailbox or just because i don't have mail. read more

Worst of the Worst Mail Service...I mail and receive packages all the time. These people state a package is delivered before they deliver....and sometimes never deliver...but they click the link that says delivered. I lose money all the time because of their negligence. And if i dont lose, the seller of the product has to send another or refund me so that they lose. They also do not pick up outgoing mail with predictable timelines. I have gotten into my car and tracked down the mailman to ask why didnt pick up only to be told he forgot or he was going to come back....I have caught on camera a mailman KICKING my package that was marked fragile, from his truck to my porch...when confronted he denied it. Even though i have it on video! I have thought i was having an earthquake becuz the mailman DROPPED boxes on my porch with such force the whole house rattled and when i went to the door, he acted like he did not speak a word of english...i called the 800 number for customer service to find out how this guy could pass a test to get the job when he didnt speak english only to have the hq rep LAUGH!!!
