For the first package, the address entered into the USPS system was incorrect, because I had written the correct address on the box. The package magically arrived despite the incorrect address on the system, after a lot of difficulties for receiver. Her name was incorrect, city was incorrect and post code was incorrect!! The second package never arrived at all. For the third package, I took a photo of the shipping label before leaving. Although the clerk seemed unhappy that I was taking a photo, I did it anyway. When I reviewed the photo at home, I discovered that I had declared the package value as $40, but the value entered on the label was $178. If that information is used by customs, it could result in significantly higher import charges for the recipient in the UK. After multiple incidents, I find it difficult to believe these mistakes are simply accidental. In my experience, some employees at this branch have been rude, have raised their voices at customers, and have treated people disrespectfully. I have also observed customers being pressured to select positive satisfaction ratings before leaving. Based on these experiences, I have lost confidence in this branch and would not recommend using it for international shipments.

I've rarely had a good experience with USPS - it's a Federal job and employees seem to just work there for the benefits and dislike their job. We had an issue with our PO Box that we've had for 2 years. My wife and I are both listed on the PO Box, but a recent delivery addressed to my wife's name was undeliverable. When we arrived, the front desk person Maria was very helpful and knew exactly what the issue was. She made sure the our PO Box was updated so we will never have this issue again in the future (seem to be an oversight when we signed up a year ago). PSA: When signing up for a PO Box, make sure all names that you have on the application are actually printed out by the person taking your application so there's no issues in future deliveries.

When I arrived, there were 8 people ahead of me and only one postal worker at the counter. I wasn't sure if I should wait it out or leave. Luckily another postal employee came to help. The started moving faster. I was there for about 20 minutes before I was done. One of the employees, that arrived to help, was being very rude to the customers. My experience yesterday left me feeling scared and unsafe, including two kids who seem to have been shook up by two different dogs brought in by two different customers. One particular dog was big and sort of jumped at a man as he was exiting and the owner disregarded the sign about no dogs. The second dog was a waggy-long leash hairy dog going and sniffing people... and the wonder didn't do anything. The kids were shuffling trying to avoid the dog. People with dogs: please respect signs, please respect others space and keep your dog on a short leash.

Plus I just have to share my appreciation for it during the Holidays because we all know that the post office is crazy the weeks leading up to Christmas! It's a tiny post office, one window and only one employee. Every time I've come here to mail something or buy stamps, it's always a calm and pleasant experience, unlike the bigger post office down the street on Hamilton which often has a long queue. Service is typically friendly and efficient here. Big thank you to Maria, who has helped me get stamps and mail out several packages over the past couple of weeks. She's friendly and very helpful! Keep in mind this small post office is closed from 11am-noon everyday for a lunch break, and also closed on the weekends and holidays.
