They cram boxes in our mailbox and deliver boxes to the driveway instead of the covered front porch. Worst service ever.

There was a hiccup with the English translation on the address and district code but initially no one knew why the hiccup on the program not allowing it to generate a shipment label but no one was willing to go the extra mile at other mail facilities to help me figure out the root cause other than to rudely and abruptly turn me away. One person at the regular post office outrightly refused to wait on me when she saw me holding a box with a label indicating cremated material. The 2nd postal office's postmaster offered reluctantly to get back but never did. I was mildly annoyed to say the least. The staffs I ran into at the mail station were so helpful no matter how backed up they were. In two different instance when Phil and Kim helped me, they treated me with utmost dignity and respect. I found what the problem may be and decided to go back to the mail station given how nice Phil was the first time. Kim helped me the second time. She was also beyond kind and patient and the transaction went through smoothly after the address was corrected. I didn't care if I had to spend a bit more knowing I can trust them and rely on them to do the job without giving me more grief like the ones at the postal services nearby. If you have fedex and mailing needs, Phil and Kim are the best. I was so relieved after going to them. It was not that much more in cost. It's so worth it!

Everyone's experience is relative. I've been having delightful little conversations for years here…read more At least our mail seemingly gets to us usually on time and nearly always delivered well. I wonder for all the negative reviews on here, if those people have ever tried working at the government employed post office? I have a feeling it's a very thankless job, doing one of the (seemingly) most important services to all of us who mail & ship (nearly everyone) because we need our mail to get there on time, we needed it there yesterday... when we're often the ones that are rushing to the post office and getting things out not on time or early. Or for new mail carriers that have to remember, (I don't know) a couple hundred addresses and where they're at and how to actually locate some really hard to reach places sometimes. If your place is hard to reach that might be on one's own living situation however, at least until the entire path has been well illuminated. Yes there's always issues with every business, that whole bad egg thing. But I've been having kind & responsive conversations with Robert before he left and with many of the other mail carriers here. It's up to us to put on a good day smile and share that with everyone else around us whether they're having a good day like us or not. Thank you very much Snohomish post office for continuing to serve this community as best you do. Az

I don't think sharing my experience will matter, but just in case anybody reads the reviews I'm…read moregoing to mention that I found the staff member I dealt with at the Snohomish Post Office extraordinarily mean and antagonistic for no reason at all. When you work for the United States Postal Service (behind the counter in a Customer Service role), you have a duty to treat people with a helpful, professional attitude and not act in an antagonistic, difficult, mean spirited way. Over a decade ago, the Snohomish Post Office had employees who were apparently miserable and they randomly took it out on the people they were supposed to be helping. That group of people retired I think and then for a long time it was pleasant, but the bad attitude problem is back big time.

I visited the Duvall post office after moving there in January. The rude clerk behind the counter…read moresaid USPS would not deliver mail to my house. She wouldn't explain why and walked away. I returned later asking to speak with the postmaster. She refused tell me his name, so I politely refused to leave. She then said he was sometimes available at 1 pm. I finally caught him days later. His wacky explanation made no sense so, months later, I wrote to the city. Just recently, Public Works told me to speak with Duvall's NEWLY ARRIVED postmaster. I was totally shocked when I did! She was courteous, articulate, and effective. Our local post office now merits a sign over its door, "Under New Management".

I went home and called customer service. They confirmed post mark stamps are FREE. Today I went to send my tax payment and asked for a postmark - the same lady argued that she could not do it unless she charged me. I don't like to cause a scene, but I insisted that she do it anyway. She kept trying to give me a certified mail form. Once again I went home and checked the USPS website. https://about.usps.com/newsroom/statements/010226-postmarking-myths-and-facts.htm In short - postmark stamps are FREE. Don't let them try and charge you. I wish someone would educate her - I feel bad for the people she bullies into paying.
