Wow what can I say, I love my USPS offices but this one is something else! the employees here never help or answer my questions, instead I have to deal w/attitude or God knows what from the people that work there. Pretty sad considering these people have great jobs that they should be appreciative of but not here. Avoid this place at ALL costs!!!! you're better off driving 5+miles down to the La Crescenta post office! read more

Want your mail? Get a PO box. You may have a better chance. They hire people who cannot read and/or, are lazy. That is not just this post office, it's the USPS in general. No pride in their job. Lost my paychecks more than once. Get direct deposit or go online for anything that is important. read more

this place they are rude & uptight. our mailbox is like 10feet in from street, one day a friend stayed over with there dog & was in front yard so mailman did not deliver, days go by no mail. so igo to post office to see whats up. they then made me wait tor manager for hm to tell me that no mail will bedelivered to this address until the mailbox is moved to the street & dog gone. no i rent a room so i can not just move our mailbox the owner has to. so i say that & ask so how am i supposed to get my mal. cause now this post office is now sending all mail back to the senders. so i say how can i get my mail at least? his reply is get a p.o. box. ha right. anyway real mean and not willing to work with the people. thumbs doown read more

This is truly the worst post office I've ever been to. Even worse than the one in Tujunga, and that one is bad. Customer service is a foreign term to the government employees working in Sunland. There is usually only one person working the counter, and nothing moves any faster when there is a line. Had to get a po box there for a while. Can't even explain all the neglect, the promised return calls that never happened and the sheer lack of knowledge, cooperation and execution of something so simple. And the attitude that went with it. I too would not even give this post office a single star if it were possible. I had a to drop off a package and I asked for the recipt but they saied they don't offer a recipt OK then I asked them so please scan my package so I can show a proof, then they saied they scanner is out of order, had to call the manager he cam very rude person, he told me the same stuff but again I told him for several times I need to have a proof, finally after 7 min he agreed to scan it, I may not go to this post office anymore, very rude staff in this location. read more

I've been going to this post office for years, but over time, service has become worse and worse. Now it seems as though ALL THE POST OFFICES have the same method of operation: Be slow, disrespectful and grouchy. I walked into this post office this afternoon and there were 12 people in line with one woman working the counter. I asked her if she could please ask another employee to come out and help. She calmly said "I'm not allowed to ask a worker-on-break to come up front". Two weeks ago, I went in for stamps. I waited in line, and when I got to the window, I was told "we don't have any stamps". I asked "why don't you put up a sign that says you're out of stamps?" She said "NEXT!" I was a union-man all my life, but the Postal Employee's Union (or whatever it's called) has created a monster! The Post Office has been billions of dollars of debt, year after year. I hope it's privatized...SOON! read more

I drive my mail to Toluca Lake or Hollywood now which is extra work for me but at least those employees take pride in their work and know the Postal Regulations and I can trust my packages get out to my customers. The service/sorting at this post office is terrible, Items sit on dock for an one or two days extra delaying important items I need to run for my business. Also the employees there don't know the difference between STAMPED Mail and METERED MAIL, I pay good money for my metered account which means I am registered with the USPS and given in I.D. number for tracing. They actually returned one of my items that I dropped off with METERED Mail and put a sticker over it saying stamped mail must be handed off to an employee, it wasn't stamped IT WAS METERED. The postal union has ruined what used to be an effecient and trustworthy company. You can tell most of the employees dont take pride in their job at the Sunland office by the way the way they wear the uniform and the stench of cigarette smoke emitting from them. I can not wait until the USPS is privatized as it is in Europe and/or Fed Ex or UPS steps up and takes over First Class and Priority. read more

Our mailboxes got broken into and basically distroyed over the weekend... I was able to find replacement mailboxes, but needed the main lock opened so that it could transfer onto the new mailboxes. I called and the person answering the phone was extremely helpful, gave me a private phone number and said for me to call when the mailboxes were installed. I called and He showed up in less than 10 minutes, stood patiently while I transfered the locks, was very friendly. read more

This post office has the worst customer service, the people working there are so rude. I went in last week to send a package and the woman wouldn't let me pay because I didn't want to sign my credit card. Mind you she already asked for my ID and verified it was my card but refused to accept the payment unless I signed the back of my credit card. I wrote see id and she said I had to sign it. It was the biggest pile of ridiculous nonsense I had ever heard. Aside from that I've had packages that said they were "delivered" but never came and I didn't get them until I complained to the corporate offices all of a sudden the next day the package was at my front door. read more

I have to write this because the post office often gets such bad press. I dropped off a change of address form and bought some stamps this past weekend. I had a nice conversation with the postal worker behind the counter and went on my way. Having just moved things are out of order in my house and I have spent the better part of today looking for the stamps that I bought, recreating coming home and trying to figure out where I had put them. I got my mail this afternoon and was pleasantly surprised to find a letter addressed to me...with my stamps! Thank you to Brittany for sending them and saving my sanity. This is the worst post office ever!!! It's really such a shame because there's hardly ever a line here, I'm quickly out the door... but the workers here seriously seem to hate their lives. There were two girls that were great. They were friendly, quick and best of all, competent! Of course, the good ones don't stay here. I would imagine them running for their lives since everyone who works here are so rude! They have conversations when there is a line and they take their sweet time before they finally acknowledge a customer. They don't listen and they're very quick to send you somewhere else. They are the laziest I've seen. I'm also been trying to get my packages for weeks now and they have yet to redeliver. When I call to find out why I haven't received my packages they simply say, "I don't know." Seriously? They won't even let me pick up the packages myself because my name isn't on them. I have had multiple issues with this post office. I order many things from Amazon and when I am expected to get a package on a Sunday, forget it. The people who deliver on Sunday obviously don't understand how to use a damn intercom. I can buzz them in the gate if they use the intercom but I guess they don't understand this. So, today is Tuesday and I went to the Office to pick up my package since they claimed for the 3rd day they didn't have access to my apartment building and to my surprise my package was still on the truck and I was advised to go drive to the truck and get my package and that is what I did. I HAD TO DRIVE TO THE POSTAL CARRIERS TRUCK to get my package that I was supposed to get on Sunday!!! This is the 4th time I did not receive a package scheduled to be delivered on a Sunday because the "backup" carriers have no idea what they are doing and show little to no urgency to deliver their packages to awaiting customers. read more

I am very upset by this Post Office. I had packages that were lost and receiving a confirmation that they were picked up by the Post Office, not only did I never receive any tracking information, but the Supervisor there promised he would help figure it out and never called me back. I have been calling the Post Office everyday since and no one can seem to pick up the phone, it just goes to a busy tone after ringing. I am sure the Post Office cannot be that busy where they cannot pick up their phone at least once. I was calling for hours on end and no answer. Someone needs to make some changes here, immediately. read more

It's too bad that Yelp doesn't allow negative stars and this place deserves minus 100! The workers in this post office are rude, slow and totally unpleasant. Customer service is NON-EXISTENT. Rather than add additional representatives when the line is long, they close service desks and one or more of them take a break! There is absolutely no sense of who is paying their salaries and who their customers are. I completely dislike going to this place as I know I'll have to put up with their "put upon" attitudes. read more

This is the worst post office I've ever been to-tried to charge me for a service when the Post Office site said it was a free service. They (short female Asian postal workers) told me to complain to the supervisor; when I asked to see the supervisor they said he wasn't in-wouldn't even try to call the supervisor, then called the next customer. Rude and slow, not unusual for the line to go out the door. This Post Office got tagged a couple of years ago-I wonder why...Now I will only drop mail in the boxes outside, otherwise I go to the Tujunga Post Office where they know what customer service is; friendly and helpful folks there. read more

I dread going to this particular post office because every time I go to this location, I am met with the most unprofessional and rude employees. One of the services I utilize the most with the post office is the option to hold my packages at the post office, due to the fact that I work 10am-6pm and I'm never home during normal package deliveries. I follow the instructions online and hold my packages at the post office in advance, to avoid any conflicts. Whenever I go pick up my packages, I tell the employee that I'm there to pick up a package and the look on their faces seem as if I just asked for them for the most ridiculous request. This particular employee, Consuelo, is the biggest offender. Every time I ask for my package, her facial expressions seem as though I am causing the biggest inconvenience of her life. I went in yesterday knowing that my package had just arrived to the post office and was scheduled to be delivered the following day. I wasn't trying to pick up the package right then and there, but in fact, I was trying to see if she could hold it for me to pick up the following day. While I tried to explain to her why I was there, she immediately cut me off and said "No, you can't pick it up today," even though I didn't ask for the package just yet. Then I continued to explain I was there to schedule a pick up for it for today and she said "why do you order packages if you can't receive them?" First of all, how is that any of her business? Second of all, I don't know the delivery dates for most things I order, otherwise I would always chose to get packages on the weekends when I am home. Third of all, for most of my orders, I don't have the option to pick the carrier. If I had the choice, USPS would always be my final choice based on the past experiences I've had with employees like Consuelo. I've been working in customer service for years now and I have never experienced such unprofessionalism as I have at this location. Negative stars! This is my second review about this place but i guess the first one was too offensive so it was removed but I think i have every right to complain from this place. i have not been receiving my important mail like an insurance settlement check that we were waiting for months, which i had to call and place a stop payment and second time I had to forward it to my sister's address until i finally got it. Then I am still waiting for my second bank atm card which i haven't received. My mail man as i mentioned in my first ReVIEW cannot SEE well, and that is why I was suggesting a stronger prescription for his glasses. The reason being I am getting all my neighbors mail and I am missing mine which I am sure my neighbors have it or they just threw them away!!! I want my darn mail. I am waiting for another check in the mail from this loan company, I am waiting for my atm card, my daughter never received her financial aid paperwork in the mail. I mean come on, if they would hire me I would go and I would actually deliver the mail to the correct addresses I don't think it's that hard to put the mail in the right box, right?????? I went inside this post office and complained and asked to speak to a supervisor nobody really cared, they took down my number and nobody called me. I went to the us postal websiTe made a complaint but I guess it's okay for my mail to go somewhere else, I guess us post office and this branch specifically do not care about what their employees doing. So if i don't get my bank card and if someone is opening accounts under my daughter and my names with all the information they have on us I will file a law suit against this place and perhaps that would get their attention.
