Every time I visit my aunt I do stop at this post office. If I know I have to return, send, receive or buys stamps this is the spot. Service is always nice and fast, no matter how busy. Very friendly and caring. I saw Bruce Lee dedicated stamps but it was still early and they didn't receive them yet. Mr. Bong was super nice and told me that as soon as they get it he will notify me, I left my number and didn't think he would. But he did, and I went and got my stamps, now we have a deal, every time they get heart stamps I will know. Couldn't ask for more. Their service is very very caring and superb. US Post Office - Post Offices Near Me - Tujunga, California

bad office/postmaster (Gutierrez). I bough a house where previous owner moved the mailbox from front door (original location) to the sidewalk because postman was afraid of his dog. All houses on our street have mailbox placed at the house front- original location. I built retaining wall and moved the box from the sidewalk to the house front - original location. Post office cancelled my mail services without any notice. They stated I moved box from original location but actually it was opposite. Later they gave me ultimatum If I want to continue mail services I have to move it to the same location where it was or where the wall is now. In other words remove the wall. Alternatively they suggested putting it behind retaining wall in sprinkled raised flower bed or on the wall (short) at the knees level - unrealistic and punitive! Although I still live there but I have no USPS service at my physical address now. And I sponsor their salary by paying taxes?! Today liars sent my "next day delivery" small package back to the sender. Explanation? "Package is returning to seller because customer moved" and "because the forwarding order for this address is no longer valid". I did not move out. I just refused to be manipulated or forced to do something that is good only for them. I refused to remove my wall or put mail box among the sprinkled plants or place it close to the ground in dwarfs friendly position. I had to forward my mail to continue receiving it! and I actually have forwarding for several months more! left Why it was not forwarded?? careless indifferent useless post office headed by their bad postmaster. If I knew amazon is going to send it via USPS I would never agree to use USPS. Anyway, that office always was a problem. Last year my check was stolen possibly by mail people and I had major headache after that. Also, when i had mail I was regularly getting my next-door neighbor mail in spite of my and neighbors complaints. At least that stopped now! read more

I've been recently going to the post office more lately to mail out packages and pwe's and I'm new to this.. so I don't have a scale for weighing how much postage a package/pwe needs. So it's a guesstimate. I know anything under an 1oz only needs one stamp but some places are picky and if it's a little over it'll need 2 stamps. So I was at the post office today with a pwe that was a little heavy and this giant guy who I assume works there comes over to me with an attitude because I obviously look confused on whether or not to go to the counter to get it weighed.. or place it in the mail slot.. I photograph/video every drop off that's untracked for my customers so they know I mailed it. So he comes over and looks at me like I have 13 eyes and is kinda rude.. and demands if I need help and I'm caught off guard so it takes me a second to register.. and I reply and say I'm just curious if I need another stamp to mail it out and he quickly says no and then I say well it's kind of heavy and he holds it and says should be fine so I slip it through the slot quickly cuz I'm already embarrassed that I was addressed in a frightening way.. either way it wasn't a pleasant experience. The other clerks have always been helpful and polite so that's why I'm giving 2 stars instead of one. read more

I'm very angry right now. The nicest, sweetest USPS employee is a liar. I expect her to be in management by next fall. I paid for two day shipping and noticed that the expected delivery date was a full 4 days after (it was a weekend). I explained to her that I needed it to arrive by Saturday. I was prepared to pay for overnight, but instead she tells me it definitely would, not to worry about it, it'll be there by Saturday, that they've just been adding an extra day on the receipt since covid. It's Saturday and the parcel is still in transit, not out to be delivered. I call customer service and they say, "No, this piece is on time, it says it'll be there by Monday!" I explain to her the situation but at this point there's nothing that can be done. There was another package I sent out wit without tracking a few weeks ago that's lost too. USPS is not dependable. The postal offices are suffering from a gutting of support by the GOP who wants to privatize the mail and destroy our right to a postal service. Yup. So if you're ever pissed off waiting at a United States Post Office wondering why it's understaffed look no further than those in power trying to cut us out of the equation while getting back room deals from would-be private postal companies to lobby for privatization. Seems there no better than the Sunland Branch.. 1st lie.... They don't deliver packages on Sunday. Second lie...My business was open all day, from 10am to 7pm, and there tracking stated "Business Closed" I'm so fed up with their nasty attitudes, and have filed over 7 complaints, and management does not care. read more

Been to this post office twice this week. I would not step foot in a post office if there were an alternative. Both times they're understaffed. One clerk at the counter. Long line and people waiting in line for a long time. Although most keep their distance, these conditions are still unsafe during this pandemic. WIPE DOWN THE COUNTER! Clerk is lovely and patient. I remind myself that it is not their fault. The manager is in the back being of no use. Never once coming out to determine if support is needed. Bad management. Manage your schedules better to handle high peak time slots so clerk are available and not taking breaks when customers are waiting. If you want the business that funds salary, take care of you customers. USPS are service providers and it should be good. read more

Hands down the best post office branch in the area. It's amazing how many of the negative reviews involve things that were the fault of the customer or could be blamed on the overall postal system rather than the branch. The service is always top notch. They know many of their customers by name. I moved 15 miles away from here but refuse to move my PO Box - it's worth the drive to be treated so well. read more

Wouldn't recommend, please take "scheduled time out of your day to visit this location. The 3 stations that they have at this location are never all open at the same time for better/faster service. The staff attempts to be friendly and kind but efficiency is just as important and if they had more support from the Supervisor maybe things could work a bit more smoother at this location. Also the Supervisor is rarely in and if there are issues you are directed to call the Supervisor...see where that could be a problem. Lastly it would be very helpful if the staff was more knowledgeable about things instead of directing to "call the Supervisor". And for this to be a government building the inside is in terrible shape 3/10 some things are being held together by packing tape & the building does appear to not have been thoroughly leaned in years (again not the fault of the staff) . This location is consistently terrible. The employees have blatant attitude problems. There never seems to be any management willing to speak to you. They don't give receipts for your record of shipment if the items postage was purchased beforehand. Back to the employees though, they don't give a DAMN it's clear they feel bullet proof, and the lack of a responsible branch manager is probably the explanation. The la crescenta branch is 20x better, they have a manager with her picture on the wall and her phone number underneath. Tujunga they tell you to email if you have an issue. Horrible, Disaster, Rude, i just filed a complaint against them. i was there in the morning to pickup the package that usually goes to my parents house like my other bills.LEO start mentioning where i live and what i do, and two guys were in line the heard.i really didn't want them to know where i live.i said its your responsibility to deliver that time MONTES star yelling at me and telling its not. she was with other customer, SHE IS EXTREMELY RUDE. honesty i think this can be in the NEWS. i asked to see a manager , he was a polite guy, but not helpful at all. so i left the office with a bad mood. sorry for us that we have to deal with this type of people.Very sad now. read more

Excellent place to send packages and letters. The associate that helped me was a lady in her 20s or 30s. She always double checks the prices and tries to make it so that you arent paying as much :) Parking here is decent as well. Usually go here early morning, dont know if that makes a difference. read more

I love this Post office They are amazing Staff members who help you every way they can, I have dealt with Rosie and Bong and everyone else and had never once had any problems. HORRIBLE!! This Post Office lost my package and does not answer their phones during business hours. The crazy or sketchy part of it is that my package was tracked to this Post Office from Chicago and then was mysteriously lost. I will be filing a formal claim/complaint through the Postal Regulatory Commission. read more

This place is HORRIBLE and depressing - whatever you do .. don't put mail on a vacation hold with accumulated mail delivery for a specific date - it is a big hassle and you will end up having to go collect your mail yourself since it is impossible to get ahold of anyone by phone when they don't start your mail service back-up on time. read more
