Post office closed after 5pm promptly. Doors locked and no place to drop off packages. They should at least have a drop box out side. I feel sorry for the PO box customers that have to wait till morning to get their mail. read more

They still have mailboxes outside that you can just pull up to. The PO on Redondo Beach Blvd (Gardena) does not. So this makes me happy.

As other posters have noted, the parking situation is bad--there is usually no parking in the front lot. There is a lot North of the Post Office, which has a lot of mail trucks parked there, so it doesn't look like a customer parking lot, but there are some "customer" parking spots there--usually there is parking. The times I have gone there the service was not fast, but not any slower than any other post office. They don't seem to have a stamp vending machine, you have to buy them at the counter. However, the mail delivery in the area served by this Post Office is so bad you might want to think twice about moving here unless you do all your banking and bill paying online and have a post office box for everything else. I've lived here for 3 years, and get other people's mail on a regular basis--meaning mail clearly addressed to a *different address*!! And, some of my mail gets delivered elsewhere, meaning I get things late or not at all (sometimes). It's getting worse lately--will have to start calling and complaining every day there is a wrong mail delivered here--what a pain! read more

10/2/13 There is a different Asian lady there today. She has short straight hair, and she's much nicer and more helpful than the mean Asian lady w longer hair. I think the nicer lady's name starts with the letter I. Anyways, it was faster and more pleasant today. read more

I think the asian lady at this post office automatically assumed I wanted all my packages to be priority mail when I didn't even ask for it in the first place. I just noticed it on my receipt. I was too busy to even look or care until now. Although all my packages were delivered quickly because I paid for that service, I didn't necessarily want to pay extra for it to be delivered right away. Oh wells... I'm assuming everyone here on yelp are having similar or other issues anyway from this place. read more

The time I went there I was trying to ask questions and let me tell you, she didn't like it not even a small bit... She didn't know squat!... Worst post office I've ever known! I went to renew my son's passport today. I was flabbergasted in the demeanor of the Asian lady who in the first place shouldn't have been assigned to that post. She has no patience explaining the passport application requirements or renewal requirements and have her own kind cut the lines and carry endless conversations with him. Avoid using this post office please. Otherwise, you would regret getting in there. read more

I wanted to track my package since I couldn't track it online I called on Friday 04/27/2018 at 8:30 a.m. to the this post office and the lady who helped me was REALLY rude, I told her to help me find the tracking # on my receipt because I was kind of lost and she gave me a bad attitude and when I found the tracking # she said your package was delivered and hanged up on me. This past July was the first of seven problems stemming from the service of those at this office and the carrier in our neighborhood. Twice now we've been given someone else's mail, (both by the carrier and the Post Office after a vacation pick-up). Once our vacation-stop was ignored by our carrier; we came home to a mail box stuffed so full we had a hard time getting things out. We twice have had packages delivered without the required signature notice left and found out they were sitting at the Post Office, (we went online to track them). A damaged packaged item was left on the doorstep with Its required signature slip in the mail box. Now today, we took a required signature slip in, (left with this past Saturday's Mail), and were told the package was not at the Post Office and perhaps our mail carrier had it. (Well, the carrier just left and said that our package had not yet been located). Scary to think we pay for this lack of service & our mail goes through this station. read more

I am horribly disappointed with this place. They are supposed to unlock their doors at 6am for people who rent mailboxes there. For the 3rd time in a row, they were not open. Whoever is responsible to open the door needs to get there on time. This is ridiculous. read more

This review is not about the post office, all though I have used it in the past. This is for the good service provided by our current mail carrier, Katy or Katie on route 419. She is very punctual on her delivery time each day (In the past it was all over the place, some delivering as late as 6 PM). Katie is very friendly and will talk to the people on her route, when asked a question. She is in line to keep her route and I hope she gets it. She is very dedicated to the addresses on her route and she deserves this recognition. Don B. on route 419. read more

Horrible postal procedures AND rudest postal staff ever (worst USPS staff and worst postal staff in my lifetime). I've been here at this Torrance USPS location several times and either I AM THE VICTIM OR WITNESS of someone receiving service with a snark attitude. Just because this place is busy and staff is attempting to get people in and out as quickly as possible, that does not make it right to treat others rudely. So why does this location ALSO HAVE A 1 star with POSTAL PROCEDURES? Well, I went here on Christmas Eve 30 minutes prior to closing and there were surprisingly only 9 people in line. I waited and once I finally got to the teller, I was told THIS LOCATION DOES NOT PRINT OUT MAIL ACCEPTANCE RECEIPTS for prepaid packages. I asked them why. He explained it was because this location is busy and thus do not print out such receipts. And that my friends was the final answer regardless of me having had waited in line and pointing out that it takes 2 seconds to print out a receipt (as it would at another post office location) with only 3 other people currently in line behind me. Needless to say, it took them more time to refuse me and and give me an explanation than it was to print out a receipt. So Merry F*ck*ng Christmas to this location and to those who work there. read more

If I don't send mail / packages In first class they wouldn't get delivered I've had $50 worth of items never returned to me or not given to my customers. And recently I sent out 4 packages on the same day the tracking code I was given won't pull up on web site . And that's another loss in my money !! I am so angry! Worst service ever !! I send out a lot of packages, pay extra for priority shipping that offers free service, what a joke. Schedule a pickup and 5 out of 10 they just ignore it. Speaking to anyone that gives a d--- would be amazing. They are rude and could care less about upset customers. Our local mail carrier wears a light on her hat to attempt to deliver our mail 9:00 at night. Most times the whole block gets each others mail and not our own. I wish the postmaster general would walk in and pretend to be a customer. What a eye opener he would get. read more
