I have to agree with most of reviews of this office. It's always crowded and very busy. This is an old location that has been outgrown in the last 15-20 years due to the explosive growth here in Washington. Working conditions are cramped and I am sure volume for size ratio here is way over average postal location. Staff seem to always have the we could care less attitude. Gives a new look at why going postal could happen. Picking up box tens today on a Sunday. Very quiet and nice. read more

This is the worst post office I've experienced in my lifetime! I surmise that the reason it is so bad is because the city has unprecedented growth over the last 5 years and the city council/government has done nothing to expand the post office to accommodate the extra traffic. We've had several days where there's been no delivery or pickup on regular working days. When I call to find our what's going on, they don't even answer the phone. Very sad and frustrating to have to deal with this when you're trying to run a business. read more

This is about the 5th time that a package has been delivered on a Sunday (I never have a problem with whoever is delivering during the week). But today takes the cake. They NEVER bring the package through my front gate (there is a front patio) and place the package at our front door and NEVER ring the doorbell. Today I discovered the package OUTSIDE the gate setting up on a brick light post .... they are on the front steps usually all clearly visible from the street and anyone could come up and take them. BUT in today's package it contained some VERY expensive medications that are supposed to be kept at a lower temperature - 78 degrees or lower. It was 96 degrees outside and they were in the complete sun. If this medication is ruined I don't know what I am going to do. From the other reviews it appears that going to the post office in Washington will be futile as the employees could care less. From now on I am going to ask my prescription people to use UPS or FEDEX as their employees bring the package to your door and ring the bell to let you know that they have delivered something. read more

Rarely use the USPS and only by necessity. Never answers the phone and not customer friendly.

After stopping in a few times to drop some mails off, I clearly understand why this place had terrible and negative reviews. I had an unpleasant experience myself every time. Employees seemed like they didn't like their job at all and looked very bothered just being there. They didn't say hi or even talk to me. I could feel the unfriendly energy while standing in line. The look that I got from them was just like I was so inconvenient to them, very uncomfortable and awkward. The process was totally slow despite the long line. They acted like they were forced to work there which was so obvious. It was so rude, inconsiderate that when I asked questions or said thank you right when I left and they just ignored me. They did that to every customer there. I meant how hard is it just to be nice to people? And a smile to a customer doesn't really cost a penny...definitely need a lot of work on customer service at this facility. I would come here again just to use the mail drop-off box because it's convenient, on the way to my work but otherwise I definitely not planing to go back inside ever again. read more

I really would rather have all my teeth pulled than to roll the dice to see which postal employee is behind the counter. One guy I suspect has worked there his whole career is just not that fun to deal with. No matter how long the line is he's not moving any faster. Save yourself the hassle and print your own labels and just drop them off at the counter. Oh he will still give you that look but you didn't have to have a birthday waiting for his help either. read more

When I came here, the line was rather long and service was slow. There was one employee who was pretty nice, but it seemed like no one else was around. I didn't have any problems other than the long service time, but I factored in the other reviews and gave this place a reluctant 3 stars because of what I mentioned and that I may have just got lucky and got a nice person. Can you give NO stars? If that was an option I would. They have lost not 1 but 2 of my kids birthday cards from their grandfather, Both which have had a check in them. To make matters WORSE, this current one was sent Certified signature Required!!!!!!! They "attempted " delivery by throwing the notice by our door, NEVER knocking as the Guy at the office said they always do. Hence the reason the notice had DIRT ON IT. Now, they can't FIND It?!?!?! read more

Yet another terrible post office experience. The staff is rude and I literally heard them in the background complaining about customers which I don't understand because without customers they don't have a job. Attitudes for days, if you all hate your job so much why work there? It took two weeks to get a package that was supposed to arrive in one week and I even paid for expedited shipping. The woman snapped at me when I try to help her lift my package she appeared to be struggling with and gave me a terrible attitudefor the rest of the transaction. The postal service and its employees are failures. I will avoid this post office as much as possible in the future. read more

Package was supposed to be here on the 11th. It took 6 days to leave the "sorting" facility. What a joke. Still dont have package and was just notified it has finally made it to my state, yet another two days till i get it. Ill stick with ups from now on. Never have that problem there.
