My unit flooded after tropical storm Hilary, luckily I had moved my equipment out of that unit before the storm. I didn't feel comfortable continuing to use that unit after seeing it flood about an inch or 2 of water. I asked them to be refunded for the rest of the month and Brian refused explaining how I paid for a whole month's use. It just felt like they were more concerned over money rather keeping good customer relations. My experience with them was a negative one. It was never about money for me, It was the principle of it. where do I begin.talking about scamming people. This is the place. We started with 300 and went up to 500 and wait there is a dictator there. The manager forbids you from entering the place even if you are a paying customer. I was transferring some of my stuff. I paid the guys and the truck to move some of the furniture. I couldn't get in and office says it's open but there is no one there. I am still waiting to be reimbursed for that. I spoke with the corporate manager and we got nowhere more lies and promises but unfortunately until you don't try you don't know. I was in need of some moving supplies and went to US Storage Centers in Mission Hills. Clerk was unfriendly and not helpful when I purchased. I had supplies left over and went to return unopened items and was told they could not be returned by the same unprofessional clerk. No where on their receipt or in the store does it say all sales final. All she said was it was the companies policy. I was upset to say the least and received absolutely no apology or understanding for my frustration. I would never go there again and hope that those reading this review will stay away. At the time of my original review there had been no security issues. Around two years ago, however, my unit was breached from the top, which is covered only by chicken wire. Anyone who can get a lift up to look into units from above can survey the contents and than break locks to gain entry and burglarize. read more

I moved in last year with a promise that my rent would not be raised as "they haven't raised their prices is over 5 years" Well one year later they raised my rent over $25.00 which is insane. Then once I found a new place for less then what I am paying at this dive I told them I was moving out on first of March. They said if I am moving out on that Sat I would be charged but If I move out which is what I intend to do a week earlier then I would not get a refund of the week I am not there. Had furniture ect. stored at the Westbrook location in Peoria, AZ. Several boxes missing as well as Sound bar and Jewelry. We used the local fire department to move us in and out of US Storage Unit. US Storage say, someone else could have taken the items. We had the key and no else was supposed to have access? Done trusting anyone! read more

During my experience here, the place was clean and appear to be safe. On February 8 2023, I came in to bring a few items to store in when I noticed my lock was missing and my storage was breached, opened the door and two tool box filled with expensive tools were stolen. I contacted the manager but was not present. The receptionist was only the one there and in order to view the cameras I needed a police report. I was waiting for hours to get a hold of the operator and when I do I am always giving a another number to call but I have waited for more than 4 hours to get help but at the end no one would answer and it is a long process because no one would answer!! Afterwards I was able to file a report and hope for the best. Everything that was stolen were my expensive tools! and now it is gone. I was devastated. They took it all and all that remained were my other stuff that were not valuable and canceled my unit afterwards. After is experienced, personally I would not recommend to store anything at this place, the units inside anyone can view above of the unit and see what you have and It is covered with fences! It is not secured and anyone can get a ladder and see what you have! I don't understand why was I the only one to get breached and not the others. read more

Don't ever rent a place from here, They lied to you from the beginning , they'll tell you one price and then the raise your price couple of months after. Employees are obnoxious and extremely rude. They are always coming up to you and telling you don't use the trash and you can't have people visiting you. Bathrooms are locked always. When you are working doing something , and going or coming to your storage, you have to go and ask them to open a bathroom for you ,which is very inconvenient. read more

This place only gets one star because I was unable to give them 0 stars. Basically, our storage unit was broken into, and because we didn't get the insurance, they were limited as to how far they were going to help us. Word for word "There's nothing we can do for you". Jenny, the manager, says that there are limits as to how much they can help us. Liability limits I understand, but limits to customer service? I was unaware that the law had anything to do with the limits of their levels of service. When I asked her how often the center has had break ins, she replied "You know what, I don't have to answer because of your attitude". ..I thought the rent I pay on a monthly basis dictated whether or not you should answer my questions. And, by the way, I didn't know that being upset over your things being stolen constituted as attitude. FYI...this place has been broken into 5 times in the last 6 months. There are no cameras down the hallways of the storage units, only at the entrances to the buildings, and on that day, the cameras where not working (convenient, huh?..I was thinking the same thing) Things can be replaced, but nothing replaces having a bad experience. read more

This is for US Storage on Brand Blvd. in Mission Hills. They offer 1/2 price for 6 months which is a great deal. But there IS a catch. 9 months after I started renting from them (and rent was at regular rate), they raised my rent AGAIN by 19%!! A friend who was renting there long before I did had the same problem. He said that they raised his rent often until he told them "enough" and threatened to move his belongings to another business. If you do rent there, I don't recommend that you take an underground unit, even though they are cheaper and their sales pitch is that it is cooler temp down there. The problem is that you can only drive one vehicle at a time down to load/unload, and you may often run into other tenants who don't respect the rules of parking and loading. People often block the driveway with their vehicles even though they are not ready to load and you can get stuck waiting for a long time, or you need to drive to the front office to complain to the manager. read more

My wife and I had a great experience with US Storage Centers - Mission Hills and would easily recommend it to our friends. What first caught my eye was the cleanliness of the facility. I've been to my fair share of storage facilities and this one was by far the cleanest and most well-kept. My wife had made the reservation, so when we first pulled up and were walking toward the office, I was convinced that we were going to be robbed with exorbitant prices. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the rates were fair and that we would get the first two months 50% off. Evelyn was great to work with. She was polite, knowledgeable, and did her best to make sure that we went with the deal that best fit our needs. She never tried to sell us on anything and made us feel like she really cared about what was best for us - the customer. The entire process was quick and easy. In about 15 minutes from the time we arrived, we had a gate passcode and were loading things into our unit. The facility provides large wooden carts for moving furniture and larger home items and it made for much easier moving. They also offer auto-pay options so we don't have to worry about being late on a payment. If we had to move all over again, I would absolutely head straight to US Storage Centers - Mission Hills. 5/5!! read more
