This shop in Chico is a life saver!! I had a flat on Saturday night and put my small spare on. Im a female who lives in Santa Rosa and had my 89 yr old mom and my 7 & 8 yr old granddaughters with me. I did not want to drive 175 miles on the small spare. Sunday morning there was only 4 tire shops open, one would not plug my tire, Walmart did not have time, Costco or the others did not carry a tire for my vehicle. US Tire was so friendly and plugged my tire and checked the pressure in all the tires. I would recommend this shop to everyone who has tire needs. Every business should be this helpful. read more

The service I requested was two new tires and an alignment. My truck has a lot of rust and I didn't have time for them to get that taken care of but they were trying. Went to get a tire patched that a AAA driver said SHOULD cost $10-$20 (average price for a patch anyways), waited about an HOUR for a tire patch just to check my card and see I was charged $60. Let alone sh*tty customer service had me write down my card information? Please update yourselves or just shut down, people cannot afford to be scammed by lazy ass mechanics. Took our truck in for 4 new tires, had my budget, had done my research, and had confirmed they had what we wanted in-stock plus price. When I got there, they then tried to upsell me on every. Single. Thing. From rims, tire size, valve stems to anything they could think of. Because I'm a woman, this happens a lot - garages or shopping presuming I know nothing about cars. I've changed my iqn engines, so it's not only annoying, it's very insulting. My experience is not uncommon amongst women, either. Quality: (2 out of 10) The quality of the tires was HORRIBLE! I purchased two used tires for a good price ($35 + tax each = $40 each tire installed). When I first pulled up they showed me one of the tires and the tread was as good as the cost, not too bad, not too good. However when I got home I looked at the second one and it was a JOKE! The tread was as bad as the tire I replaced, and was a completely different tire. They even turned it around so I could not see that the brand was different. VERY SHADY DEAL!!! Appeal: (4 out of 10) The place on the outside looks as any other small used tires center. The fact no one was there wasn't a good thing. Service: (6 out of 10) The service of the place was very good. The staff was very friendly and immediately assisted me with the tire install. It helped that absolutely no one was there except me, but they were friendly. They even took half off the tax of the tires. Conclusion. I would first recommend trying Bob's Tires or Quality Used Tires first before calling this place. However if you are low on cash, need one or two cheap tires quick, then it might be an ok place, just be careful to check every tire, and call the other places mentioned first. So I have sent 5 different family members to US Tires in the past two years with good deals and speedy, friendly service.. But on December 23, 2014 I sent my daughter(I went with her this A.M. to help with kids) in for four new tires and I asked if he could recommend someone local to do a 4 wheel alignment on her 2011 KIA Sorento he said they did alignments right there and instead of $480 it would be $520 with the alignment. I mentioned to him that Bob's tire gave a free alignment with purchase of 4 tires, said extra money would be for four CAM bolts that would need replacing at all for corners to do alignment to within factory specs. So OK, 45K(?)mile tires where installed really fast, less than thirty minutes. But now wheel alignment took close to 2 hours I remember this because it was kinda cold and he placed a floor heater from his office by my daughter and the little ones in waiting room to keep them warm and comfortable.. As I waited and walked around outside while vehicle was up on alignment rack and watched the alignment being performed and the mechanic struggling with rear cam bolts getting them in and out, had to use a breaker bar at times but I didn't feel any concern and it taking longer because it was a 4 wheel alignment, not a two wheel alignment. Then alignment man also showed me the new CAM bolts he was replacing the old with and me and him talked at times during him doing the work. When all done went to pay with daughters CC and took a while because she hadn't activated it but finally got done and payed and we left.. all good we thought.. So on March 3, 2015 I was visiting her and she asked me to look at her tires cause she felt the rear tires where wearing funny.. I did and she was right the inner tread wear on both rear tires where worn severely, I called US tires immediately and he said to get it in and he would take care of it I said OK and she wouldn't be back to Chico for a couple weeks.. (I also shot pictures and said I could send pics of tire wear) Now today March 25th, 2015 I called US Tires and said my daughter was in Chico and could he look at tire wear(replace tires) and re-align vehicle said he'd take a look. So around 11 AM he calls me back and says I'm wrong his shop never did a four wheel alignment on my daughters vehicle, but he could sell us two new tires for $150 and a $100 for an alignment(even though my daughter said alignment man said he'd do alignment for $60 to her?) So if they never did the alignment back on December 23 why where my daughter and I, an infant and toddler there almost three hours in the waiting room? He also said he doesn't even remember her and the kids being there let alone the vehicle being aligned by them and it still has a factory alignment and marks? So, I told my daughter to just leave and I would get her new tires and an alignment somewhere else. Our receipt only shows the tires which have barely 3,000 miles on them, and no mention of alignment on receipt, so where over a barrel with no paper proof. I hate being called a liar and I worked in tire/brake/alignment shops from late 70's into the 80's so I still know a little.. My conclusion is US Tires alignment man improperly aligned vehicle and they do not want to have to eat the cost replacing the two worn/bad tires and an alignment it's easier to call my daughter and I the customers, LIARS. I've also called around to other tire/alignment shops in Chico only to find out my alignment issue is not the first that's had to be corrected by other shops in Chico after having alignment performed at US tires. I really wish I could give this place more than five stars! My Dad and I have been buying tires from Muhammad and US Tire and Wheel for years. Now I have my entire family buying tires here. The prices and service cannot be beat! I recently purchased four brand new tires for my Honda Civic and had a tear in the sidewall on one due to roadside hazard. The tire were still under warranty and Muhammad ordered me a new one the very next day and installed it, no questions asked. Thank you very much US Tire and Wheel, you rule! read more

Overpriced and the workers were sketchy. They cracked one of my wheel caps, didn't realize until I was back home.

My guy and I stopped in here to get a new set of tires a few months ago plus my brakes were making some noise. We were heading out of town for a short trip. Got a good deal on tires but the brake replacement kept getting more expensive. Had new rotors and pads put on the back and new pads on the front. A couple months down the road I was sitting in Wendy's parking lot and I had no brakes! Apparently they forgot to correctly attach my brake line in the front back up in it's bracket. Luckily my friends dad was in town and replaced it for me. Now about 4 months later I have a flat tire. Well the hubcaps weren't put back on properly and rubbed a hole right through my valvestem. Had to take tire off and go have a new one put on. I will never go here again. Women beware they take advantage of our supposed lack of mechanical knowladge and fell to admit it was their fault. read more

They said the tire had 2 nails and a tire would need to be purchased. My sister asked to see the two nails. They didn't show her the nails, instead they patched the tire. ??? read more

I drove my car half a mile at most, parked, and came back to a flat tire. There was a nail right in the middle of my tire. I took it off and brought it to this shop to patch it up and the guy comes out telling me it has sidewall damage and can't be fixed. He brings me in to show me a perfect slice about an inch long in the sidewall of my tire. I said "I drove half a mile and got a flat, clearly from the giant nail in my tire, and you're telling me that somehow I just happened to get a perfect slice on my sidewall at the exact same time I got a nail in it?" Then he tells me "Maybe it happened from hitting a rock." Which rock? As if a rock would even create a perfect clean cut in my tire? Seems pretty fishy to me. Giving two stars instead of one on the VERRRRRRRY off chance that somehow the sidewall damage was from something other than the shop trying to get me to buy a new set of tires from them. read more

Went here to patch my tire, overall good service they even took off the spare and put on my tire. The guy then began to act very flirty with me, which then resulted in him shaking my hand and using his finger to rub my palm. He then would not leave me alone while I was waiting to pay, and kept asking questions. I got very creeped out and will probably never go back again. I sadly used these guys many times to save a few bucks but after having multiple sets of tires go bad on my 07 tundra after their alignment, and my wheel falling off only miles from their shop on my outback these guys don't deserve to be in business anymore. Now that it has been time with the rims they sold me, I found out they sold me rims that didn't even fit my car. They had a different lug design and a few years later, ended up screwing up my car. They don't know what they are doing, they just care about selling rims. If you want to end up with problems in your car, don't go here. They broke my studs and tried to hide it and stripped my keys. Cross threaded the lug nut on one bolt on the wheel hub will not fix it.. Also told me my car takes 18" even thought it only takes 16" and my tire rubs around turns even if it can take an 18" wheel the tire is too tall.. They are not good at what they do i would not go there if you like your car your time . This place is horrible!!! They do not know what they are doing. I bought a full set of tires and they drove in the lugnuts untill stopped with an impact gun without a torque stick or torque wrench. I went to take my tires off and broke 2 wheel studs trying to remove them and a breaker bar also. I wanted them to fix it and they had the worst customer service!!! I was ripped of twice by this company. The first time the sidewalls split out on the inside of two front 24" tires I bought brand new from this company. The tires were less than 6 months old and very few miles on them. The owner said that it was a manufacturer problem and that he would swap out the tires and give me a better brand for around $50 more for each tire. I know, thinking back on it, it seems sketchy. I figured $100 for 2 better tires up from would be worth it. I was happy with that so I bought 2 new tires for the rear, and paid the $100 for the replacement tires up front.Well, I'm about 8-10 months in to the new tires and the tread separated from the whole tire. There was a huge dip and separation all the way around the middle of the tire. I drove over and talked to who I think is the owner, his name is Muhammad, and told him what had happened and asked if there was anything he could do. He looked at the tire and said that there is nothing he could do. I realize dealing with a small local shop there may not be a lot of wiggle room with mark up on tires, but this guy is down right selling unsafe tires. I was lucky the sidewalls on the first set didn't blow out driving on the highway, and luckily the tire stared shaking violently when I drove over 45mph because of the separation of the tread. Otherwise these problems could have caused an accident. Please don't buy any tires from this company and expect them to last longer than 6 months with light use. Also, get the warranty info figured out and in writing if you do decide to try your luck. read more
