If there were six stars I would give it to them. Jacob and his crew worked tirelessly to turf the dog run in our backyard, and the results were truly exceptional and exceeded my loftiest expectations. Clean borders, no seams, smooth and level. With the staircase and multiple contours that they had to contend with, it wasn't a typical typical dog run, but they cut the turf perfectly to the complex area and the project came out extremely clean. They even installed a french drain at no extra cost when they realized it would be necessary to preserve the integrity of the turf. They nicked an irrigation pipe which was completely reasonable and expected, given the criss-crossing network of pipes, but they were quick to own up to it and repair it with no questions asked. This team is just starting out in Austin in an effort to expand beyond their Las Vegas home base, which explains the low (but positive) number of ratings. Give them a chance; I promise you won't be disappointed. read more

UPDATE: I feel compelled to share my experience after spending over $18k with US TURF. I initially chose US TURF for their prices and timely installation of their turf products. The installation process went fine for the most part, but once issues started to arise, their customer service became practically non-existent even though we are under warranty. First concern that came up is while they were installing our turf they ran into our fence with their trailer. They fixed the pickets they damaged but they broke the post for the fence in our neighbors yard. I attempted to contact them a couple of times with no luck of anyone responding back to us so we hired someone and paid them to fix it. A month later Zac responded and I told him we had to get it fixed and he never bothered to offer reimbursement. The second issue we experienced is an area of our turf started to sink. I made MULTIPLE attempts to get in contact with them and have someone come out and fix it. After a week someone responded and said they would be out to fix and never showed up- they ended up being no shows for the job three different times- we finally gave up. Most recently I attempted to contact them to have them turf a couple more areas in our yard as I need the same turf we used for our main areas and I can't get that through other companies(US TURF was our last choice at this point) We contacted them on March 20th first attempt and then personally emailed Zac the owner on April 5th with again no response. Despite multiple follow-ups about the problems, and even follow ups about giving them more business I've received little to no response. It's been extremely frustrating trying to get someone to take accountability or even communicate. This last experience prompted me to write this review as they have been so extremely unprofessional and to do it with clients that have spent so much money with them is quite upsetting. If you're looking for a company that stands behind their work and values ongoing customer relationships, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. read more

We got a quote from Zac around April but with global shipping delays, the turf didn't arrive until about June. I appreciated that he kept us up to date and set our timing expectations with constant communication throughout. The estimate came in slightly below competitors with turf that is significantly softer than the other samples we received. I have to admit the turf isn't as realistic as some others but the pile height and softness more than makes up. It feels very soft underfoot and springs right up. Only time will tell how it stands up to the beating sun but so far so good. Highly recommend working with Zac who stayed with his team through the entire install and did a walk-through with us before signing off. read more

I'll be honest, I chose them because they were just a little more than half of the highest bidder I had who although highly rated, I do believe is extremely overpriced. We had turf installed in the backyard. Jaycob is the one that sold us and designed the project. I wanted a putting green and Jaycob explained that he had an extra piece that would cover the area I wanted for the green. Jaycob did not show up on site the morning of the installation and Miguel did not know what to do. He ended up sending him a video. Miguel started asking me all these questions about putting green installation. I had no idea. Jaycob had the plan. Miguel started cutting the green and I didn't realize it couldn't be used again after that and after looking at the overnight how small it was. It was $1600 for an 8x15 ft putting green install. I called Jaycob to see how much a 15x15 ft putting green install was and he said an ADDITIONAL $2000 on top of the $1600 I was already paying. Absolutely ridiculous. There was no deal. He even told me there was no extra piece so he ordered one. The putting green is on a decline as well so no forethought was put into its design. If you're looking just for turf install then it's great but I'm really disappointed in the putting green. It has put a damper on the whole experience. Jaycob never showed up at all after the sale. We have never worked with a crew as good as this one in the Georgetown Area. There are so many landscapers who do not have proper equipment, waste your time, do jobs very poorly, and then they way overcharge you. Residents have grown horribly disillusioned. They have literally become afraid to try to find an honest contractor due to all the work generated by the recent real estate boom! This company was like dealing with people from an entirely different planet. They were knowledgeable, fairly-priced, patient, and very detail-oriented. They re-worked some existing poorly installed edging, then leveled two lawn areas until they were perfect.
