The crews are wonderful and were very attentive to details, kept the work area clean and made everything very nice. I have never had such a rude encounter with a contractor like I have with Mr. Wes. He came to my father's home for a retaining wall assessment. When I communicated that my husband was at work, he slapped his clipboard to his thigh like a child and vocally pushed that frustration on to me about my husband missing their established consultation time. My husband notified Mr. Wes that I would be home in his absence, but Mr. Wes instead showed a side that I do not appreciate. It is 2020 and I refuse to be a woman that has to defuse an upset man trying to get my business. I would not recommend him or his services however visually pleasing they may seem. Shame. read more

Wes and his team are awesome and the results were beyond our expectations. Top quality material used through out and his prices were in line with the others we spoke with. One of the reason we went with outdoor Designs is that Wes' picked up on both large and small challenges during our first visit. He talked to us about things that the others failed to mention and when the project was finished we could tell that Wes had a vision in his head about what this was going to look like before he even left our home. We had some minor grade/slope issues that were difficult to see before hand, but now that it is finished we can admire Wes' elegant solutions that show in the end result. Wes installed a small Japanese tea garden in my backyard and did an amazing job using a variety of stones, small boulders, and shrubs/ ferns. My neighbors all peer through the fence and love it as much as I do. Wes also did a drainage project on the side of my house. He is responsive to what you want and is meticulous in execution. His team has been with him for years and he has all the heavy equipment to do what needs to be done. Before beginning a project and throughout, he and his team use instruments to shoot the grade to ensure that slope / drainage is appropriate. I read one review that said he has difficulty with women. Not sure where that came from. I am a single woman and VERY picky and he has been excellent to work with. They fixed a french drain that was done incorrectly and added a new one. They added new soil and sod! My yard not only looks great, no more standing water after heavy rains! Several neighbors came by during the work in progress to admire and get their card. Two have come back by after heavy rain to see how it all is working! I had to get on their calendar and wait several months before they could do the work but it was well worth the wait!
