I traded in a 2008 Scion xB and paid some cash for a 1999 Ranger and 1993 F250…read more After I got it home, I discovered the keys for the F250 ignition did not unlock the doors. After I contacted them, they agreed to reimburse the cost of a locksmith to change the locks or make a key. I discovered the Ranger engine needed major engine repairs. They did not trigger the diagnostic computer I hooked up before purchasing, and the only sign was dirty coolant fluid. After a flush and fill at Oil Can Henry's, the drive home and driving it one day resulted in the fluid being a gallon low. Taking it to my mechanic they had to take apart the engine and discovered I had to replace the gaskets and pistons. I don't entirely blame Karz, as they would have had to disassemble the engine to find the problem and I don't expect used car dealers to do that. But it still cost me thousands more than I was expecting to spend.

Had to call a couple of times to remind about getting plates and after saying they would send them had to go pick up from them. Took car to shop for engine light, noise and air conditioner. Noise was because motor mount bolt was very loose, light is because of several sensor issues and air conditioning was missing a hose and not hooked up in any way. Had not been for some time and whole system is very dirty and will cost me $1600 or more to fix. The others issues are being worked on as car is not safe to drive. Not sure how much this is going to end up costing. When I went in to Parr's I told him I needed reliable, safe transportation as I have a disabled daughter and have to go to lots of places for her care. Told him didn't have a lot of money to spend but but didn't expect to be sold a money pit. When I called back about issues was told they would "tighten" the bolt. Lot more work involved than that....basically tough sh*& for me. Buyer beware. Don't buy from here.

We had a 10:40am appointment to have some tires put on that we also purchased from here. My father in law couldn't make it due to some medical happenings. So we offered to take the car in for him. Since all prior dealings have been pleasant. We made it in at 10am and talked to Susan and Matt. They check us in and where great, they said they wouldn't be the advisor on it but it would be Kayla. I told them we will go shopping as we had another vehicle and asked how long it would be and went over our scheduled appointment time. They informed me Kayla was aware of appointment and it would be an hour. We left and came back at 11:40. Check in and saw vehicle parked and asked for keys and how much the total charge would be. We where then told at this moment that it hadn't even been worked on yet and where asked if we needed it back at any particular time!? Well we scheduled an appointment, dropped it off well before and came back at said completion time. So many customers are late, very rarely do they show up as scheduled and let alone make it easy by dropping it off. We where then proceeded to be told it will be almost 2pm before it's done. To swap two tires? Not very pleasant experience. I hope next time I can remove this review. I always give a second chance.

i sent one of my customers to bud clary for a security key code not allowing vehicle to stay…read morerunning. i have dealt with several other vehicles with the same problem and sent them to bud clary with excelent results. usally just a reprogramming of the theft system. this time they told him he had water in the fuel tank. estamated 400.$ they charged him 800.$ to remove fuel tank and clean out. i inspected vehicle after he got back to town and could not see where the fuel tank had been removed and did not even change fuel filter. i sent them email with my concerns and they reply with ai generated sales pitch. do not trust this place the are crooks and refelct horrible on the honest auto repair busness

He's given them a lot of business and referred multiple people there, which makes this situation even more disappointing. Recently, we found out our vehicle (2009 Mercedes C300 4MATIC AWD) had been set up with mismatched tire sizes side-to-side on both axles. This is not just a minor issue -- it's unsafe for AWD vehicles and can cause serious damage to the drivetrain, including the transfer case. We only discovered this after our car started having problems and warning lights (ABS/ESP) came on. We paid $300 for a diagnostic, and the mechanic immediately identified the tire setup as the cause and explained how damaging it is. At this point, the vehicle is not being driven because we do not want to risk further damage to the drivetrain or potentially cause the transfer case to fail completely. We also chose not to adjust or move the tires ourselves because we wanted the shop to see the issue exactly as it was left after their installation. Even attempting to rearrange the tires now would not properly fix the issue, because the tread has already worn unevenly from being driven in the incorrect configuration -- which can still cause problems for an AWD system. When we brought this to the tire shop, we were not asking for reimbursement for the diagnostic -- we simply asked them to correct the issue. Instead, we were told it couldn't be their fault and were asked to pay for new tires And they would cover half of them but then also refuse to put the tires on our car. If they were to do that. Which would mean we would have to go pay somebody else to do so and have our card towed twice since it is currently not drivable without causing more stress to the vehicle and risking more problems happening. This isn't the first issue either: Previously, one of their employees broke a tire pressure sensor and attempted to hide it using a zip tie. At first they denied it, but after reviewing their cameras, the employee admitted it and it was fixed. There is also now physical damage where the tire has been rubbing against the strut due to incorrect sizing and placement. Despite all of this, they are refusing to take responsibility and want us to pay again. We tried to handle this respectfully and give them the chance to make it right, but instead we were blamed and dismissed. At this point, we are considering small claims court due to the costs and damage caused. If you have an AWD vehicle especially, I would be very cautious. This situation could have led to major mechanical failure or loss of vehicle control. Very disappointing experience from a shop we trusted and supported.
