Through emails, phone calls, and a visit to our property, we were well supported. We love the cabinets and have recommended them already. When others were all pitching a kitchen island, she understood we were happy with a peninsula design, and paid attention to the limited space and work areas based on our small kitchen. She made suggestions and redrew the plans to address our own ideas and questions. There was a great back & forth dialogue on what we envisioned. She encouraged us to take our time and explore all the different choices available. Katie eliminated a lot of the decision fatigue that happens with having to make so many choices. Katie never pushed, just made helpful suggestions. She stressed there was no rush. We chose Cabinet Discounters over other companies/designers because Katie listened. She looked at our existing kitchen and understood what we wanted and needed. She focused on work spaces and areas we would dedicate to specific tasks, like a coffee bar. We love our kitchen! As you can see from the photos, our kitchen is falling apart. Cabinet Discounters used the wrong grout, so it continues to crumble. The tile floor is cracked, and we have had to have the grout repaired at additional expense from another contractor. Our kitchen needs to be gutted...again, due to the extremely poor quality of work provided by Cabinet Discounters. Their customer service is terrible, and they have yet to respond to my outreach.

Brandi completely changed that experience for me. She has been professional, patient, and incredibly kind every step of the way. Whenever I have questions, she goes above and beyond to explain things clearly and make sure I feel confident about the process. She has a way of calming the stress and making everything smooth and manageable, which I appreciate more than I can say. My countertop installation hasn't happened yet, but I will come back to update this review once it's complete. Even so, I wanted to share now that Brandi has already made such a positive impact. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY…read more We ordered very large master bathroom vanity cabinets from Rick in the Chantilly VA location Nov 2022, the cabinets were delivered on time, early Jan 2023. First, the delivery company was very unprofessional and rude. They proceeded to tell me that Cabinet Discounters should have told me that they will only leave them in the garage, which I said I was never told that and it's winter and I do not want them to warp. They ended up leaving the cabinets in the middle of my dining room...6 extremely large boxes. My contractor attempted to install them a few days later and notice one of the doors was not the same design as the rest of the doors. We also noticed a drawer was broken and several panels were warped and not able to align. We called Rick, sent pictures and he ordered the "correct" panel (which when rec'd, was a different color, therefore we had to re-order again). After much back and forth with Rick and he telling me that we will have to pay for someone to come out and "fix" their issue, Rick then came out to our house to see if he can align the cabinets and also to assess the issues. He confirmed there were major issues with the panels and that the doors were warped, etc. Rick took pictures and was supposed to write up what he observed and what was being orders so that we knew what deliveries to expect. We never rec'd a write up from Rick... we then proceeded with in the next few weeks to get 3 additional shipments of panels that were ordered. Again, when we received the additional panels, one broken (which again we had to have another replacement). Once ALL replacement doors were recd, we had our contractor come back (additional cost to us) to attempt to reinstall the 6 panels. Our contractor noticed some of the "new" panels are longer than other, some are wider than others, and again some appear to be warped since they cannot close flush. Again, he was unable to be aligned some cabinets. We have sent emails, made phone calls, Rick has told us that the manufacture is going to call us back, #homecrest and we haven't heard from anyone. It's been over two months now that we have had cabinets installed (without panels), over half of the panels are sitting in my hallway, paid in FULL, paid our contractor additional money in an attempt to "reinstall" the cabinets two separate times. We have had a master bath completely renovated and been waiting two months to be able to use our cabinets. This is horrible customer service, horrible products. They haven't acknowledged the time, money and inconvenience this has caused. They have completely gone silent.

This work included: removal of old…read morecounters/cabinets (including soffits), install of cabinets/counters/backsplash, and other minor changes/updates (minor replumbing, under cabinet lighting, etc.) Our prior contractor fell through last minute, and after getting quotes from several similar contractors in the area, we selected HMC due to their quote being quite reasonable and their ability to start asap. They were absolutely great! These folks are quick, cared for our home, and made sure to communicate any updates/questions so we were aware of each step of the remodel. The whole project was completed within the timeframe we were quoted during our estimate (14 days). We will be contacting Jax for future bathroom models, and we would definitely recommend him and his crew.

Conrad came in and offered to clean and refinish and add new hardware. At a "much more" affordable price point. And we decided to go with them. It turned out fantastic and at a very reasonable price! He has a very professional team (Conrad and Julio) who took time to explain, then recommend and complete the job on time and budget. They even directed us where to select hardware pulls online. They're definitely an honest and skilled company - I'd recommend. They were even open to me performing some of the tasks (eg removing the doors and bringing to their shop) to save on costs.
