I decided to go elsewhere to get what I needed. **UPDATE** Unless the cashier had started their shift 5 hrs prior to my visit (Cali laws), why would they take a 30 min lunch break right before 2 hrs of the store closing? Even if they took a break at their 4 hr point in their shift they would have been back by the time I stopped by. Very odd.

The line can easily protrude into the intersection, however the line is much shorter than other Costco's that have the same problem. The gas prices here were higher than what I thought they'd be ~$4.98 a gallon for regular, but I hadn't gassed up in minute so the prices could be similar at other Costco locations. The fuel is high quality, the pumps move quickly once you're at them, and the station is generally well organized for the volume of traffic it handles. The biggest advantage is the value, but it's not always the bargain people assume. Some days the prices are noticeably lower than nearby stations, while other days they're only about average for the area. The same goes for the lines. If you time it right, you're in and out in just a few minutes. If you show up during peak hours, don't be surprised if you're waiting 20-30 minutes. That said, the attendants do a good job keeping traffic moving, and the station itself is well maintained. Overall, it's still one of my go-to places for gas, especially when I can avoid the rush. Just pick your timing wisely, and you'll have a much better experience.

I hate leaving bad reviews but I did have an experience where after being parked for a couple…read moreminutes (maybe 4-7 minutes) I had an attendant startle me by walking up to my window, they looked to be cleaning near my pump but when I came inside because the gas pump's card reader wasn't working, they informed me you can't be sitting out there. It may seem like an overreaction but I've had bad experiences with people coming up to my window (specifically at a gas station) and it made me very anxious/reminded me of that. Although this gas is a great deal (I even drove further to go to this one), I won't be getting gas here unless that policy changes. I would be more understanding if it had been a ridiculous amount of time like 30 minutes (which I still don't think should matter), but if 5-7 minutes is a problem they should put up a sign that says "no sitting in your car for ____ minutes". That way if someone needs time, at least they know it's not preferable at this location and don't have to deal with unpleasant interactions. I'm not blaming the attendant if they're just doing what they're told but I hope they reconsider that policy or add a sign if it's a problem. Often times I'm paid through other methods (cash app/Apple Pay etc.) so sometimes it takes a few minutes to transfer it to my account so I can purchase gas so it would be helpful to know in advance if that's looked down upon. I'd change the review to 5 if that changes to be fair, I'm not trying to be rude or unfair, I just don't want anyone else feeling that anxiety. I understand why they wouldn't expect it to cause such strong feelings.
