I was about to pay for tire air but then to with the people that work there told me that I could go inside and ask for the air complementary as a service. I thought that was so nice and it really made my day and really this is one of the best tire air pressure pumps I've ever seen in my entire life. This Chevron station has a large convenient store, car wash and there is even a service bay station right next to it (not sure if it's part of Chevron to be honest). According to Gas Buddy, it is averaged price to pay compared to other gas stations in the area. It is a busy location right off the 163. The way the property is positioned, it's difficult to get in and out depending what direction you are heading/going to, though the layout is pretty big for a gas station. Overall, I would go out of my way to get to this station if I felt like filling up at a Chevron. The prices are good and if you live within 10-15 minutes of this station, then I'd suggest coming here too. read more

First, don't trust the sign with the gas prices that they put on Aero. It is the cash price and debit/credit is usually about 10 cents more per gallon. Second, expect that someone's going to try to sell you a windshield repair. Lately it's been girls that they put out for a complimentary windshield wash. After washing your window they're going to say you have a chip (no matter how small or nonexistent) and it will take 7 min to repair. It will not actually take 7 min. They're going to try to tell you that your insurance will pay for it. Don't fall for this crap. The car wash is decent but I skip this place and go to the 7-11 up the street. I am not interested in being solicited when I'm already paying $4.15 a gallon. read more

For a gas station this place isn't bad. It's just a little crowded because it has an Express Tire, a car wash, a general gas station convenient store, and gets busy because of all the business in the area. I like it because it's close to work and I just pump and go. It's nice if you actually need your car washed, or need to get some maintenance done on your car--you can just walk across the street to grab a bite to eat, study, or run some errands. It's at a convenient location, but it can definitely get overwhelming sometimes, depending on the time of day. I try to keep my gas to Chevron at 91 Octane. read more

The car still had bird dropping on it AFTER I did their most expensive hand wax $59.99 package. The sign says they will shampoo your interior and much more, I came to pick it up and find out THERE WAS STILL SAND on the carpet. For $60 worth, I've could've taken my car to another place for a much better wash and service. This service was worth no more than $25. Went into fill my tank. My prius took 11.75 gallons and it wasn't empty. I felt like there was a mistake as my car has never taken more than 10.5 gallons and I've been on empty before and this fill I was not on empty. I went into the chevron to talk to the employee, who kept on saying, "nothing I can do." I said that I wanted to talk to the manager and I left my name and phone number for the manager to call me. I had a very strange experience at this carwash. They offered 10 cents off the gas price with a carwash. Before you pay, they pump the gas at the regular price. They write down on a piece of paper the amount spent and the amount of gallons purchased. In order to get the discounted price, you have to go inside to for the transaction. So, I brought the receipt inside, they calculated the discount and they ran the transaction. Customer service was fine, polite. Then I ask if it's possible to get cash back for a tip, but they don't offer that service and suggested to use the in-store ATM. The ATM has a $2.50 which I did not want to pay. So I went back outside and asked the man who was finishing my car if I could buy him something from the shop because I didn't have cash for a tip. He asked for a Powerade. So I bought a 3 Powerade drinks for him, as they were on special. Anyway, when I picked up my car, my car wouldn't start. Very strange. So the guy calls to another worker and says battery. They keep looking back at each other for few minutes and I'm wondering if someone was going to help me. Then the other worker gets the battery charger and starts to recharge the battery. It fails a couple times then he calls another worker and it finally starts. This all happens like clockwork. After my car starts I ask the man what happened and he said it was my battery and that I should have it checked by their mechanic. I thank him for helping but that I will have my own mechanic check it out. Now, I try not to make assumptions but something felt off. I've recently had my car serviced. I have never had battery issues and my car is only one year old. My gut told me that something fishy had occurred. I feel bad because I went in feeling so light and walked out with negative energy. I don't know for sure if I was being scammed but I have learned to trust my intuition about things and so I will not be visiting that carwash/gas station again. I am not a mean person. In fact I may be too nice. So, if I am wrong and this was not scam for more business, I am sorry. And if something fishy was occurring, I hope people will change and choose do the honest and right thing. PS- The car wash itself was fair for $12.99. Not great, not horrible. Windshield repair pushers aside, I have two gripes: 1) Preauthorized funds from a debit card, but couldn't pump gas due to some glitch. Went back to re-swipe, but declined. Asked them to cancel first transaction so I can re-preauthorize. Told me I would have to wait 3 business days for preauthorization to be cancelled. Left without pumping gas on an almost-empty tank. 2) Seperate day. Filled up my tank and walked in for cash back. Asked what the limit was. '$50. But ATM back there gives up to $200' Fine. I only need $10. Shopped around for something to buy to get cash back, even stalling at one point unti lthe line of 5 people died down. At the counter, 'There's a $1 surcharge for cash back.' The reason I bought something in the first place was to get cash back. 'The surcharge would be $2 without a purchase.' My thoughts: That's very crucial information that would have been useful from the beginning. Most anybody would say 'H311 NO!!!' If I had to pay $2 anyway, I wouldn't have made a purchase or waited in line. Lastly, how about giving a break to someone who just filled up their gas tank at your facility. The customer service is absolute trash-what a complete lack of any kind of basic customer service. They love to play phone games and will either repeatedly hang up on you or leave you waiting without a single response. The guy working there on Sunday 8/28 afternoon middle of the day around 12:30pm has some of the worst manners I have ever seen, not just at a gas station, but in general. He is completely incapable of answering simple questions over the phone. He gets unbelievably angry over having to do his job that one has to wonder how he is even still working there. Well I've used this place a few times due to its one stop capability for gas, washing, and oil change. They do a 'good enough' job on the car wash part (the stuff they use on the dash and interior to make it shiny is extremely greasy. You will have residue on your hands), but don't expect to much. The oil change on the other hand... they used the wrong oil for my car! I have an Audi S4, it takes 9.5 qts of oil to change it. To spend $150 on an oil change and for them to get it wrong is inexcusable. I did catch it from the window sticker reminding me for my next oil change. To there credit they did do another oil change (with the proper oil this time) for free with out question. If you use them, watch them close. read more

My second scathing review for this "one stop shop". The car wash is shady, this place is just plain crooked. I've caught them several times lying about my transmission fluid and tires to get more money out of me. For example I took my car to my mechanic after taking it to these guys and he showed me what a horrible job they did on my brakes. They tell you your transmission fluid is bad when it's NOT. This location has a large Extra Mile store with a lot of stuff, from normal stuff like soda and candy all the way to Virgin Mary statues and San Diego souvenirs. There are 12 pumps, but still can get crowded. The air and water fill machine is next to a customer parking space, so often it's unusable because someone parked there. The employees are nice and the place is usually pretty clean. Overall this is a good one. read more

I usually just pass by this gas station on my way to Walmart. I did notice that their gas prices are lower than others since I live in the South Bay. Yesterday I gased up and their regular unleaded gas is $4.09 compared to where I usually get (7-Eleven) which is $4.11. 7-Eleven is where I usually get the cheapest gas. Worst car wash I have ever had and the most expensive. I paid 34.99 to have the not wash my windows or if they did they made them worse then they were, water spots every where and areas on the car that didn't even look like the car had been washed. Will not be going there again even though it's less then a mile from where I am staying while working on a project in San Diego. CONSUMERS BEWARE! Last week I put in debit card in pump 10 only to get hacked. Someone put a skimmer in this pump, copied my card, and charged over $900 to an embrodery company in LA. Found out today that the same thing happened to another consumer about a month ago. Guy named Leo at the counter yelled at me when I asked if I could get an extra stamp because I forgot to tell them to stamp my card last time I had my car detailed and washed. He couldn't say "no" nicely, he had to yell. I would of taken a nice no but he yelled, "no you should of told us last time." I said, wow, that's bad customer service and then he began to yell louder saying people spend 300 Dollars Here we don't give a shit about your 150. I'm a business owner myself and have been my whole life, you don't treat people that way. I wasn't even mad about one stupid stamp it wasn't a big deal at all. The technicians here seriously are the best. I was pumping gas one evening after work and I had my 3 year old in the back. I was told to always lock your doors when pumping gas because when you aren't paying attention, someone can go in to your passenger side and steal your purse. I took the keys out of the ignition to avoid the dinging noise and I locked the doors. I put the keys in the cup holder and left the driver door open. I started pumping gas and walked by the driver door and for some STUPID reason, I closed it. I was locked out of my car with my son inside! Luckily it wasn't hot, it was very cool and we were in the shade but I panicked and ran inside for help. The cashier grabbed some technicians and they grabbed a tool kit to break in to my car. There was slight damage to my car but I didn't care. They got me in to my car right away. Thankfully my son was perfectly fine, actually laughing at all of us the entire process. The staff thought quickly and kept me calm and helped me in a very scary situation. read more

It seems as a family owned operation and they just don't care about customer service. The car wash is 50/50, depends of they wash their rags that day.
