This was my first time trying this salon. I was very impressed with the inside decor. The ceiling is painted like the sky similar to the Paris Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. It makes you feel like you're outside. I was immediately greeted and helped with my services. Shana did a great job on my eyebrow wax and my pedicure. For all you gals who know what you need in a good brow wax, this is it! She waxed and plucked. Some waxers don't pluck the tiny leftover hairs, so I always look for that to know if I will use them again. On to my next service. I got the regular pedicure. We never want to talk about ingrown toenails, but it needs to be discussed. I have not had a pedicure in over 5 months because I broke one of my little toes. You can imagine after all that time, the ingrown toenail had become an issue. Shana got them out with little pain. The massage was great. Shana used hot stones and did a full 5-minute timed rub on my legs and feet. It felt great! Shana was conversational, but not too much. I like to be left alone while enjoying my pedicure. I was impressed I could understand her and she was very pleasant. The energy in the salon was nice. All the ladies were sweet and it was a relaxing vibe. I like a quiet salon and this was perfect! They service popcorn and bottled water. I thought that was a nice touch. $10 for the brow wax and $32 for the regular pedicure (before tip). After paying, I was given a little notepad calendar for 2024. I thought that was nice too. It's the small things that matter. Highly recommend this place. Might even see you there on my next visit. Wink!

They have the faintest amount of glitter in them. So pleased.

I've been going here since I moved to Houston and they are wonderful. The owner (and staff!) is extremely kind and I love Tina's attention to detail when she does my nails. I am always satisfied with the results I love the pedicures because they give a good massage too. They play the most calming music too, it's incredibly relaxing.

Got my First set of 2023, absolutely love this place! Every time I'm here is great experience. Service is great, I got my nails done by Jenny Shape and colors we're pretty and exactly what I asked for. 10/10 recommended.

Great staff & Emmie does one hell of a job at SNS! Definitely will only be using her for the rest of my days. Small but clean salon with great service.

Tina did a great job!!! exactly what I wanted Awesome customer service and great environment!!

I have been coming here since I moved to Houston in 2017 and every time I walk out of here with beautiful nails. I highly recommend it. Make appointment so you get the best service.

Just left this place and WOW!!! I've been here twice and they've gotten my nails just how I want them EVERY time! They were very kind and took their time with my nails and any requests I had were met. Only paid $75 for this set. LOVE LOVE LOVE

High prices, not happy with my solar refill ( it wasn't shiny ?! Weird) mediocre pedi. beeyootiful interior and huge solar powder color selection. I was really surprised at the prices. Probably won't try again. Too many places nearby to try with better rates.

Left over acrylic powder that was all over my fingers that she kept trying to scrape off. Btw I wanted square round not barely round squares
    Karen V.

First off I went in asking for a refill. I expected it to be anywhere from 20-30 dollars because of the area, not because that's what I pay for a refill. The refill price is $35 and to fix a nail its $4 and an actual powder full set is $48. Those prices are ridiculous and I am ashamed in myself for not going to my regular nail salon that charges me $30 for a one tone full set and $18 for a refill. This is what I get for needing my nails fixed ASAP. 2. I picked my color and everything was fine until she started to use the drill and kept hurting my cuticle every time she would go over. 3. Then she proceeded to change by nail shape from square round to more square and very very little round. 4. I needed my thumb on my right hand redone since the nail broke. Now the nail on my right hand thumb looks like it its half a size bigger than what my normal nail is. Oh and she also left acrylic all over my skin that she kept trying to scrape off with her nails and I finally told her to let it be because it was hurting so bad when she was trying to scrape it off. All in all I wasted my hard earned money and no one in heck I will be back to this place.

I was simply trying to ask a few questions about their manicure and French tip services before booking. Unfortunately, the woman at the front desk was extremely rude and made me feel like my questions were an inconvenience. Before I was even finished, she hung up on me without asking if I had any other questions. I called back thinking the call had dropped and explained that I was still talking when it ended. She responded in a frustrated tone, "Yes ma'am, your appointment is booked." I understand that people can be busy, but there is absolutely no reason to treat a potential first-time customer this way. A simple "Is there anything else I can help you with?" would have taken a few seconds. Needless to say, I will be taking my business somewhere else. If this is how potential new customers are treated over the phone, I can only imagine what the in-person experience would be like. Very unfortunate, because I was genuinely interested in trying this salon.

I've been coming here for several years off and on and usually leave happy, but as if the infection wasn't bad enough.... The customer service has really gone downhill. It appears a bit messy up at the front & crowded at the desk with girls just hanging out. Their technicians (never the same) seem unsure& timid, and there is usually a lack of communication between the front desk and the technician that I have to clarify repeatedly, even though the only thing I ever get is a simple, classic mani no polish, buff and go; and maybe a basic gel pedicure. The prices also went up by at least $10 a service overnight, once the name switched. Previously, I had a $100 gift card from NOA that they would not honor. Why not? I understand ownership changed, but to not honor past gift cards for longer doesn't bode well for established clients. Another time, back in May , I was told the wait would be over 45 minutes for a mani, even though that area appeared completely empty. Ok - so I walked back out and across the street to Blush Salon and got a lovely manicure right away. I don't expect I'll be returning to Genova any time soon.

However, as I was leaving today, I noticed I hadn't received a receipt so I asked for one. When I got to my car and reviewed it, I saw I had been charged an extra $10 for a "nail fix." That was confusing to me because I came in for a builder gel set on my real nails and they had done my previous set as well. I went back inside to ask about it and was told by the manager that the charge was because I had partially removed the gel from two of my nails. I explained that the gel had started peeling after two weeks, so I removed part of it myself this morning knowing I was going to come get them fixed after work today. My main concern is not necessarily the $10 itself, but the lack of transparency. Three different employees assisted me today between my pedicure and gel set and at no point was I informed there would be an additional charge. When I asked why no one thought to alert me, I was told they "thought I knew." Very odd response for it only being my 3rd time. I was initially excited to find a new nail salon that provided good service and transparent pricing, but adding charges without communicating them beforehand (and then making excuses for the lack of communication) makes me reconsider returning
