Can't recommend Tony highly enough. We rented a large obstacle course jumper from him pretty last minute. The reservation process over the phone was easy. During the week I felt nervous (only because I've heard so many bounce house rental horror stories about other companies no-showing) and Tony was communicative by text to confirm our reservation. Tony delivered the obstacle course several hours before the party started so we weren't stressed. He was so friendly and kind and really cared about the kids having fun. He gave us lots of suggestions about the best place to set up the equipment, how to make it a water slide if the kids got hot, etc. He then spent about an hour at hour house cleaning and adjusting the bounce course so it was perfect. The next morning he arrived right on time to take it away. All that, plus his prices were hundreds of dollars less than other companies we talked to. There were a few tape patches on the bounce house, but we didn't care about that and neither did the kiddos. It worked perfectly and held up to a dozen teenagers crashing around on it all night. Tony is a hard worker, but definitely needs helpers. He was due to pick up the bounce house rental Monday Morning. Never showed. I got a phone call at 11am from him, needing to reschedule pick up due to rain. (It was not raining all morning, he could have arrived and left without weather delay). Instead, he arrived the following day after it DID rain. We advised him not to drive on our lawn, because it was too wet. Once we left, he drove on it anyway. Our lawn is ruined from his van. They agreed on a quote, showed up an hour early, and then wanted to charge extra for being at a park/ needing a generator.. they did this party and location last year so they knew what to expect. They were rude and defensive and packed up the jump house before the party started. We called the owner and he just lead us in circles avoiding the issue. So disappointed! I booked a bouncy house back in August for my Homeowners Association Halloween Block party for this coming Sunday (in 4 days). I emailed the owner, Tony to confirm my booking and since 2 days passed with no response, I decided to follow up with a phone call. The person on the phone said that the "owner" sent me an email last week informing me that my reservation was cancelled because they don't deliver to Castro Valley. Why wasn't I informed of this when I booked 2 months ago and where is the email that they "sent" me!? I get a call a few minutes later telling me that my reservation is now "confirmed" but that they would need to charge me an extra delivery fee of $60 for gas and mileage. WHAT!? I had originally placed an online order with bay area jump (horrible, do not use!!) and despite charging my card they claimed they never received the order (or emails I sent) and when I called to see what happened the receptionist could not care less...she wasn't even a tiny bit apologetic or helpful. We had a horrible experience with this place. Tony quoted a price per the location we gave him for our party, which was in a park. Once he came to set up the jumpy house, he decided to charge another $50 for the generator. This was not included in the quote he gave us AND he knew the party location was in a park, which would need a generator. He should have told us when it was quoted that there was an additional charge for the generator. (USA tony's Jumpers website, clearly states, NO HIDDEN FEE) In addition, the product was not what we had ordered and agreed upon.
