We are so grateful to Cate and her volunteers! It's been several years since we adopted the furry little character known as Bo. This little guy makes us laugh every day! In a world where pets are often discarded like trash you are a beacon of hope! Thank you for all that you do! Our lives are richer thanks to Bo! Bo is our boy! Lots of Love. Thank You Michael and Lisa

She carefully screens the dogs and staff keep a close eye on everyone during the day. With free pick up and drop off it, the daycare an absolute steal! I was truly amazed at the service Kelli provided, her demeanor was professional. Impeccable service, she wouldn't accept our dogs without their vaccinations being up to date, which says a lot about her doggy daycare, love this. Kelli referred me to a great pet Clinic to get their vaccines updated. Kelli sent us video clips of the dogs daily, putting our minds at ease. She has a no cage policy, which is why we chose her as well her impeccable reviews on yelp. The dogs were so happy in the video clips she sent us. When I went to pick them up, they didn't want to come with me. Lol. Keli is a real dog lover and I am so happy to have found her. I highly recommend elite pet care. Always punctual, friendly, and leaves good notes/pictures in the app. Recently, we got married and asked R+D if they had somebody who could come to the wedding and take lead on watching our dogs during the weekend of events. They sent Sonia who was truly amazing at making sure the dogs were included, but also making sure they were well taken care of and not getting overwhelmed. It was really special having our best friends at the wedding, and Sonia made sure that we did not have to worry about them at all so we could just enjoy the weekend. It's not easy to wrangle 170 pounds combined especially when there's a lot of human food around on tables, dropped morsels on the ground, kids running around, and a ton of special people the dogs get excited to see; but Sonia's calm, cool, collected nature transferred to the pups and they were relaxed and well taken care of and had a great time. Thanks so much!

Given all the bad press recently around dog trainers/sitters in LA County, I'm so glad that I have R & D. They are absolutely trustworthy. Plus they are so responsive and the app they use is easy and intuitive. Highly recommend!!

I would strongly caution anyone considering Stardogs Doggie Daycare…read more My dog is a very high-energy, playful dog, but she has never been aggressive toward anyone or another dog. In fact, she is extremely submissive. That is precisely why I chose daycare in the first place--to give her an appropriate outlet for her energy and allow her to socialize and play. I was told she was "nipping" at other dogs and that they had to "keep the peace." Fine--if a dog is becoming overstimulated, I completely understand separating her temporarily and redirecting her behavior. What I do not understand is how you can call this appropriate care when you isolate the dog alone in a room for the majority of the day--and don't even bother to call the owner. They did this to my dog twice. She was left completely alone while the other dogs were playing. When I questioned this, I was actually told that she "couldn't hear the other dogs." That explanation is frankly ridiculous. Dogs have an extraordinary sense of hearing. Of course she could hear the other dogs playing. If anything, being isolated while hearing the other dogs play would understandably make a high-energy dog even more frustrated and distressed. The entire reason I brought her to daycare was so she could exercise, socialize, and burn off her energy--not sit alone in a room listening to everyone else play. What makes this even worse is the complete lack of communication. No one called me when this was happening. I had to find out afterward. I also asked multiple times for a manager to call me, and never received a call back. That speaks volumes about how seriously they take their customers' concerns. And then there are the cameras. They are supposedly there so owners can check on their dogs, yet the cameras never seem to work, leaving you with no way to see what is actually happening. Most concerning to me was my dog's behavior when I picked her up. She acted noticeably strange and, on the last visit, didn't even want to leave me. That was completely unlike her. I am not claiming my dog never gets overexcited. She is young, energetic, and can become overly enthusiastic during play. But there is a HUGE difference between appropriately managing an overstimulated dog and essentially locking her away alone for hours without communicating with her owner. If your solution to a high-energy dog is isolation, perhaps daycare isn't the appropriate environment for that dog in the first place. But the owner deserves to know immediately--not after the fact, and certainly not after repeatedly asking management for an explanation. The lack of communication, broken cameras, failure to return calls, and decision to repeatedly isolate my dog are completely unacceptable. I brought my dog there trusting them to care for her, and I no longer have that trust. I will not be bringing her back
