I was in LA for vacation and after reviewing yelp's top picks I finalized on StarDogs club house and wow am I glad I did, they're prompt with answering questions prior to and during my appointment, impressed with their facility, customer service, and services offered. My hometown dallas day cares don't offer hydromassage/ jacuzzis (that i've seen) so we had to give it a try, they uploaded videos and photos during my baby's stay so I could see the full experience, my was she pampered , upon pick up, they gave me a full assessment and even the owner (who's also a vet) suggested several tips in caring for my dog's weak joints/leg (which was hurt the day before). Overall 5 star experience and if we lived in LA there's no doubt that StarDogs would be our choice for my "princess" to frequent! This is the first doggie daycare we've taken our 9 month old puppy to, and we couldn't be more happy with our experience! When we brought her in for the first time, she was nervous (probably thinking she was going to the vet or something), but as soon as we brought her for a second visit, she was RUNNING to the door, and couldn't wait to get inside! We have only brought her a handful of times so far, but here's why we are so pleased: 1. The owner is a veterinarian, so she understands the behavior and temperament of dogs. We have even brought Piper in when we thought she had a health issue, and she gave us advice! 2. The staff sits in the room with the dogs and truly engages with them. They're dog trainers, so they keep them active and learning all day. (Piper has a ton of energy, and she literally falls asleep on the ride home) 3. They offer services we used to go to other places for (baths, nail trimming, training courses, etc), so now we have everything under one roof. 4. They're priced SO fairly. 5. *BONUS* they post pics and videos to their Instagram throughout the day, so you can see your dog playing! If you're in the area, you need to check this place out! My husband and I spent a week in LA and we left our four-legged daughter Kakao daily at STARDOGS for daycare, so that we could explore the city more freely while she had fun with other dogs, and our experience was wonderful! We can't recommend their services enough, from daycare to teeth cleaning. Chiara and Raffaella are amazing people! They truly care about the dogs and have created a fantastic place for them there. The other staff members are great as well. Kakao isn't used to interacting with other dogs, so she was more quiet while at the daycare, but we could see she was developing her social skills everyday. Kakao's teeth were in a bad condition, and Chiara was able to clean them perfectly too. We were afraid that the cleaning would be taxing on Kakao, based on our past experience with another dog, but she was simply great after it, happy and energetic, as if nothing had happened. Finally, we could tell that Kakao felt really happy going there! Kakao looks forward to seeing the STARDOGS team again on our next visit to LA! This is the best dog daycare I've ever been to in my life! They are so loving and caring and take care of our dog so well as if she's family. We trust them so much especially since one of the owners is a veterinarian but also because of how well they take care of the dogs. I work very early and thankfully they are open every day at 7 AM which makes it very convenient for me to drop my dog off before work and they stay open late because usually I don't get out of work until almost 630 so I'm able to pick up my dog after 7 PM with no issues. They also do significant treatments in their own facility and right next-door they have an amazing grooming facility called GROOM where we have our dogs haircuts and grooming performed at. We haven't tried the boarding yet but I can easily say we have no hesitation to do so because we have been using this location for almost 3 months now and have had our dog stay there for over 45 days and havent had a single issue or problem. They also post really nice photos on their Instagram page and post Instagram story videos and photos throughout the day she can keep an eye and keep up-to-date with your dog through Instagram! They also have an amazing website where you can purchase and buy prepaid packages directly from as well as keep up-to-date on how many packages you have left. On the website they also the post photos throughout the day so you can check on your dog throughout the day through their website platform to see what your dog is up to and which friends she was playing with! This is our dog's FAVORITE place outside of home!
