I used to dread coming into USPS, but not after having this as my local post office! This past fall, I've had to ship a lot of packages and was here almost every other week! The workers always had a smile in their face and were very patient! Service is quick/lines move fast, the place is always clean, and everything is very efficient. The only thing that could be a headache is lack of parking spots on busy times (Christmas shipping season). However, spots open up after about 2-3 mins anyway! I am truly grateful our town has such a wonderful crew working the USPS! It really has been a godsend having such helpful and kind people help with any of my mail needs! Thank you Prosper USPS!

However, I was presently surprised at how quick the service was, and how friendly the employees were. There were 2 women working the counter, and we were in and out of there in about 20 minutes. There were people waiting in line (about 3 ahead of us). We were there right at the opening on a Monday morning. I would recommend getting there early to beat the crowd! There were people trickling in as we were leaving the post office. The Post Office is dated, and a drab though! Poor lighting, and interior that has not been updated since the 70s probably. Hopefully, one day the government can spend some $ to improve the working conditions!

I went in today to drop off a package. The printer printed the label that said no postage necessary…read moreif mailed in the United States this was a return from eBay and the way it printed it cut off the no postage and half of necessary and the staff refused to reprint the label or scan the package because the barcode was completely intact. The address was intact. Nothing else was missing, but they refuse to take my package because it did not say that I could've handwritten that on there if that was acceptable but no, they would not allow it and I was forced to go home without being able to drop off my Package and reprint the label. Completely unhelpful staff this would never happen UPS. I know that they have the ability to scan a barcode and reprint if UPS can do it. I'm sure the United States Postal Service can do it. It's just complete lack of customer service. Yes I did throw a fit. I am not proud of that part, but it was just incredibly unhelpful when I have very limited time to do these types of errands during their working hours.

I've been trying to submit a passport application for over a month now…read more My first appointment was on Dec 1, but I didnt have my birth certificate, that was on me. My next one rescheduled for Dec 13, I get a text message the day of saying that both passport employees called in sick. Annoying, but I'll reschedule. I schedule my next one for Jan 3. I get a text the day of, 10 minutes before I was supposed to leave, that they cannot process applications due to "staffing issues beyond their control." At this point, I'm very irritated. I schedule TWO MORE appointments in advance, one on the 12th and one on the 18th. Surprise, surprise, on the day of the 12th, 5 minutes before I'm supposed to leave, I get ANOTHER text saying "due to staffing issues beyond our control, we are not able to process passports at this time. Please reschedule for after the 21st" so just like that, both of my appointments got cancelled. I really tried to give this location a chance because I could schedule a lot earlier than other locations, but after all of this hassle, I know I could've had it in a long time ago if I had gone to a different location.
