I had my husband drop off a package for a customer at one of the blue drop boxes (in front of Target in Buford) at 5:30 in the morning. It says the collection is at 9:30am. Cool, four hours before that time. That was Monday, July 21, 2025. Today is Thursday the 24th and guess what? It is showing I haven't shipped it. So if that doesn't get in the system by tomorrow BEFORE 2pm that I did indeed ship it, the order gets cancelled and I have to refund their money. I sent a message to the post office but somehow it got kicked to the location where the customer lives instead of the one over here. And no haven't heard from them even though it has been 1 business day. So now I have to call them and HOPE someone answers. Mind you, this is my first official order/customer on TikTok too. It was my first time mailing a letter and knew I was missing a stamp for it. The kind gentleman at the front was extremely friendly and helpful in getting my letter stamped and selling me a booklet of stamps as well! No one ever answers the phone. It amazes me how each post office has a different way of doing business even though it all the same.

Slightly aged location but has everything you need. Indoor shipping. PO Boxes. Counter service. Cards. Mailing Supplies. Ppl are very kind here. Keep up the great work. read more

One of the associates was very rude and disrespectful on the phone. She refers to me as "sweetie" in a superior tone of voice without knowing me at all. That is so unprofessional in a business setting to refer to a customer like that. She was impatient when questioned and hung up the phone abruptly as soon as she can "get rid" of me. The associate seems to be not a native English speaker (she has a light accent). No matter how young the client may appear to look/sound, that doesn't give associate the right to refer to them in that manner. Please fix that or leave the customer service role to someone else more qualified. read more

-100 Stars. Do yourself a huge favor and DON'T leave any item in the priority Mail Drop after hours. I left TWO priority packages (one was self stamped using my business mail account) and they both "disappeared" (was "lost in the automated mail system" but assured the items would be found in June 2023). When I completed the "lost mail" form online (but not before waiting 60 days while they attempted to "find it," I was emailed the decision: NO refund (of the cost spent on the items and post fee) because I had no proof it was scanned (!). I wish the government will investigate this branch because there is obviously a theft-ring going on---based on everyone's comments. I bet if they surveyed their videos they'd see their staff, on camera, stealing packages, checks, and everything else people are complaining about at this location! THAT MANY packages and mail can not get lost that easily, and it it does it seems like there should be some type of internal review--asap. read more

This location is literally the definition of garbage. I will never, even if my life depends on it, spend a single penny at this post office again. The wait is always extraordinary. The service is absolutely horrible. I just went in there with a small box to ship and after waiting 45 minutes in line and spending $10 to ship an item the lady at the counter told me I had to buy an entire roll of tape just to tape down the flap on my box because she couldn't tape it for me. I told her never mind then to go ahead and give me my money back. Terrible service. I will never as I said, even if my life depends upon it, come to this location again. This is the most god awful postal service I've ever been too. I only come here if it's a must for me, other than that I prefer ups. Their customer service is hands down the worse I've ever experienced, the treatment they provide to their customers awes me. This is kind of what I should've expected from a unionized job where they don't care about getting fired cause it's so hard to fire people. The cashier named Andrew, an older male, as soon as we came up to him was nothing but unhelpful, and very aggressive towards our questions and very disrespectful towards me and my wife. Not only is this place not geared towards customer service, it is always busy and only has two to three people working with lines out the door. It has to be the most rude personnel I have ever encountered. Attempted to drop off a box and needed 1 piece of tape to seal my box, but told to buy a whole roll of tape. The environment and people there are cold and look unhappy, while acting totally incompetent and/or don't care about being there. Almost feel sad for these people. read more

Going here is like going to watch a competition of who can work at the slowest and laziest pace. I loathe going to this location, but I have to out of necessity at times. From the period of November 15 - December 27, this post office lost and sent back 4 packages to Amazon and family members. One package that was had confirmed delivery there could not be located and the branch supervisor (tall, blonde, obese woman) was indifferent and could offer no solutions or options. The other 3 packages were tracked to this post office and then redirected to several postal facilities in FL including Tampa and Miami. This could not be explained nor was there any effort to investigate, retrieve, or resolve. This postal service branch beautifully exemplifies the degree of incompetence and customer service that results in the USPS losing billions each year. If you have a choice on where to receive your mail, do yourself a favor and identify a different branch. read more

Talk about bad service. Can't tell if the guy was lazy to do his job (since he was ignoring me for a few minutes) or just incompetence. I went there the other day to send a small package. The older gentleman with white hair complained that my label could be viewed as priority due to the fact that the TO: was in Red like the priority label !!! Really ? If they are that bad that they can tell the difference between the labels I def don't need to be shipping anything with them. Who knows where it'll end up. read more

I love this post office the people that work here are just so nice and welcoming. One day after being really upset about something in my life I left my debit card there. After several hours of trying to remember where I could have left it my brain woke up and ding ding remembered left it at the post office. When I returned I found out the clerk had already tried to contact my bank found the package I had mailed and had my debit card ready to be mailed back to me. Now if that isn't five star service what is. I will always be grateful for they're going above and beyond for me. This place is always busy because the people that work go above and beyond to be pleasant and competent in their jobs. read more

Ordered a birthday present for my great granddaughter on June 25th (birthday Aug 10th). Sent to my home where a forwarding address was in place, they delivered it there anyway. I complained, they picked it back up about 3 days later and sent it to me. I received it today(after 15 days in transit) and the funny thing is...the forwarding address only takes us 6 1/2 hours to drive. Extremely unhappy with the USPS read more

The staff at this post office are usually efficient. I am trying to tell myself that the other day was just a random event. I gave the P.O. Rep my official P.O. form that was left at my door for pickup. The rep informed me that the USPS (written all over it) meant UPS. They looked the numbers on the computer but could not find the item. Fortunately, there was some one with intelligence working that day who was able to read. They even knew how to operate the computer well enough to find the item. The first person (who who could not read) could not distinguish between UPS and USPS. I am astounded. I expected better from this place. read more

was a good place, with ample parking in the front. lots of personal mailboxes (PO Boxes) in the main lobby area. the areas where there were actual people, was a little crowded. the waiting line is not that well laid out. the people behind the counter were fast and nice, however very pushy to you getting stamps. read more

Terrible customer service. Avoid like the plague. The postmaster, Jan Coleman needs customer service training in addition to her staff. She does not return calls pertaining to any challenge or issue that you may have. I left several messages which were never returned and when I finally spoke with her, she informed me she forgot to return the call. (wow!) Also, everyone there needs to get on the same page pertaining to operations. If they have a change in staff, your mail could end up in the wrong box, lost or returned to sender. You will be told one thing at the time of renting your po box pertaining to service and informed another after some time has passed. I would not recommend this location at all. If I could give 0 stars, I would. They don't even deserve one star! read more

I have to say, I've used this USPS facility for over 15 years and I'm quite surprised by the severe negative comments that I read. In general, I have had to wait in long lines, that are out the door, and it can seem as if the line doesn't move fast enough. The USPS has done a good job to automate services in the lobby so one doesn't have to wait in line, but for those that do wait, it can be tiring. Saying that, I just had the best experience ever at a postal facility. I pre-paid for postage from an ebay sale but my printer wouldn't work. I took the tracking number to the facility to see if it could be printed there, which it couldn't. I finally got my printer working and dropped off my box early the next day. ebay held up my payout until the item showed as received by the post office. I waited all day and finally called the facility and a young lady talked me through the process and I learned when a package is dropped off it gets shipped to a handling facility where it is scanned. I had to have it scanned asap so I printed my label again and took it to the facility and spoke to the manager. I wish I had gotten her name, she is always nice, and she is the blonde lady who helps those in line. She took the time to do extensive research, found my box, I realized I had put the wrong label on it (fortunately I brought the correct one). She scanned it and taped it to the box and off it went. By the time I got home, the system showed it had been received. This was excellent service by the two ladies involved and I am extremely satisfied. Thank you. read more

How about no stars. Is there a negative rating??? Once again, the Buford carrier has delivered my package to who knows where. Seems we have a different carrier every single day. Sometimes he/she doesn't even stop at our box even though we have notifications that mail is indeed coming. They will fly by our house, turn around in the neighbor's driveway and go back down the street. Then fly by our house again, abd come back 5 minutes later with mail. Some days, more than one truck comes down our road. Our regular guy has disappeared and since that time, the service has been way less than adequate. When I finally got through to a person to ask about our mail, she said they obviously did not know what they were doing. No solution...she just agreed with me. They deliver packages wherever they want. This is the third time in the past couple of months. One time, we drove round the neighborhood and found our stuff at a stranger's house. Two packages were scheduled for delivery today. I got a notice that one was put in the mailbox at 6:05 (the missing one) and the other was placed on our porch at 6:49. NOW, MIND YOU, BOTH PACKAGES HAD THE SAME ADDRESS ON THEM YET ONE WAS DELIVERED 44 MINUTES EARLIER TO I DON'T KNOW WHERE. And it's Saturday after hours. I will not reach anyone for days to come. I plan on selecting other delivery methods from now on and refuse to use the Buford PO for ANYTHING. It's so frustrating. read more
