I recently moved to Cedar Park and this is now my Post Office. I've had delivery issues, the Postmaster himself helped me! They haven't happened again. I do a lot of mailing for my home business and am in the PO at least 2x per week. When there is a problem or a line, the Postmaster himself handles the problem or goes to the extra desk and waits on people. He's very customer service oriented and is working hard to make his PO as productive as it can be. I'm glad to be able to do business here! It's the best and quickest PO I've been to since moving to the Austin Area!! For those of you who have had problems, complain to someone who will handle it rather than posting things online he can't take care of. Ask for the person in charge!! read more

My mother moved and she got her mail transferred to her new address as an individual and NOT family. But this post office is sending ALL our mail to her address and we got a note in our mailbox saying our address is VACANT. Explains why we haven't gotten any mail lately. Oh, and don't bother calling. Been calling over 30 minutes now and no one answers even though it's within business hours. (Also, don't try USPS customer service. I go here because it's the closest to my house but it really is subpar every time I go. There is one male postal worker there who I think attempts to be funny but he just ends up condescending and rude. Always trying to get you to spend more money on faster shipping. If I need faster shipping I'll let you. If you say no thank you then it is super awkward and he is cold as ice. This last time I went to ship a package. Took my 3 kids. Thankfully they were not busy. Got thru the process ( and yes he did ask if I wanted to overnight it. Get real!) and I pull out $100 bill. "Oh I can't break that this early in the morning. Nobody brings cash". Well I have cash. I get that most people pay with card nowadays but they are the post office who takes a lot of business. They don't have a drawer of change for instances like this? I work in a well known medical center and while most of our patients pay with card there are those instances when a patient will come in at 6 am for an appointment and have $100. So I'm supposed to turn them away? C'mon. It was a huge inconvenience and one that he didn't attempt to rectify. He just stared at me. Peeled the postage off and told me to keep the insurance card. He must really hate his job. Edited to add: went to Leander where they are so much nicer. I showed the postal workers the insurance card so he can go off that and he said "so you need insurance up to $200? Because he charged you for $200." I told the worker in Cedar Park 3 times it was for $100!!!! read more

I was at the Cedar Park USPS to get a simple envelope mailed out. I didn't bring a pen with me, figuring that surely the USPS would have pens in the building and that I would be able to borrow them. I wasn't wrong. There was an Oriental lady who called me from the line and I told her that I needed to mail out an envelope via the cheapest method. She said it was 59 cents. Then I said I needed to borrow a pen to write the address. So she said it'd be 69 cents. What the hell? She's seriously charging me extra because I needed to borrow a pen? Never before have I seen such a poor excuse for customer service. I was so confused, but didn't say anything because it was 10 cents. That's besides the point. The point is who on earth charges you extra to borrow a pen? Ridiculous. read more

No one EVER answers the phone. Literally. You could try calling ten times a day for a week and your call will not be answered. Who has time to drive across town during the work day to wait in line at the post office simply to ask a question that could be answered during a quick phone call? read more

Another reason why I love living in Cedar Park. The post office is fast. Even when the line is long, it seems to move on at a quick pace. The workers here are really nice too. If you have a package waiting there for you, you can go there before work (7am-ish) and ring the doorbell and they will bring the package for you. When I lived in Wells Branch, I used to dread going to the Bluebonnet station. But the Cedar Park station is the exact opposite! I love it. read more

I know mail is slower because of holidays but this is crazy. Of course, no answer at post office. Scheduled a package pick up for today (7/10/14) at my house through USPS. It was confirmed and said to leave it at my front door/porch between 11am-3pm. It's almost 5pm, package still outside at my door. Funny thing is, they left a copy of the confirmation in my mailbox, indicating it had been picked up. And of couse when I tried called the location, no one would answer. I started calling them just after 3pm. Good thing the package isn't a rush. After reading the reviews posted I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels the way I do..I had sent 1st Christmas cards to my niece and nephew they never received them and I just sent 1st Easter cards to them and they never got them..I know they have received mail from us before but what makes me so upset is that it's their 1st Cards..now I have to go buy more and I guess have to get a tracking number so I know they got them..then to top it all off the several and countless times that our mail has been put in someone else's mail box and it happened again last week..then when we go in to sign a form that we were going on Vacation and will pick up our mail, we go to pick it up they can't find it..why because they didn't give the paper to our mail delivery person and our mail box was Stuffed!! Why do they even put a phone number on here? You call every location and the phone just riiiiiiiiings and riiiiings.

Even though their website says they provide bulk mail services they do not. I even tried to call the office before I went . . . . but, yes, you guessed it . . . .ring, ring, ring . . . So, I go - wait in line and I am told they do not provide this service. I asked if they were a USPS location. "Yes." They replied . . . . I told them they have it listed as a service on their website. The representative taking care of me said . . . "There a lot of services on the website we do not provide." Is there anything they do anymore? What a waste of our "sponsored" federal tax dollars. Advice - don't waste your time. Visit the UPS or FedEx locations across the street and/or down the street. read more

This facility has removed the drive-up letter drop box. This really poses a burden on elderly, disabled, and those with small children. It is necessary to park your car and enter the facility to mail a letter. I have asked if they will be replacing the box, however no one there seems to know. read more

I would love to be able to handle all of my postal needs at the self-serve kiosk and avoid the lines altogether. However, half the time the machine is unable to print one thing or another. Sooo. We've had issues with misdelivered mail, torn up magazines from shoving the items into too small of a post box. Today though took the cake. We CANNOT remove this package from the box. We have tried calling the post office on Whitestone. Got hung up on twice. The last time the call waiting time was 36-53 MINUTES ! There is NO EXCUSE for this kind of service. We have lived here for 33 years, and we have had a few issues, but never this bad. Our regular mail delivery person is "training" a new carrier???? LOL! read more

I've been here a handful of times. The last two stand out as being pleasant experiences. First one was when I showed up while they were in the process of closing. The lady there told me they were closed, then asked what I needed, she ended up helping me anyways, as I had a package waiting to be picked up for a long time. The second time was today, they have good customer service there and that's what counts. I've been there when they have long lines, but they don't compare to the lines at the post offices down in S. Austin. Anyways, that's just the nature of public services. So I'll be back. read more

I don't know what was up with the employees today but we received the WORST customer service from 3 of the 4 employees working today. We were bounced from one employee to the next and received attitudes from every single one. None of them were helpful and every time we came back up to the counter after doing what the previous employee suggested we were told it was wrong and to go back and do it another way. Ordered an item and the seller delivered in a timely fashion but even though I got notice of delivery to my mailbox, there was never an item or key left to open the parcel box. After a week I went to the post office and the worker there said it was delivered to the wrong address when she looked up the tracking number, so then it will be picked up and put in my mailbox. She asked for my phone number to let me know what is going on but I got no package or call after 3 days. So I went there today to see what the story is and after looking at the tracking number again they said it was delivered and I needed to open my parcel box. I had to explain to them I can't open my parcel box unless they put a parcel key in my mailbox to open the parcel box. Then she said my key should open the parcel box and I showed her my mail key and she agreed it won't open the parcel box. I told them to get the parcel THERE, hold it and call me when it's THERE at the post office and I'll pick it up THERE. I'm not holding my breath because I need all the oxygen I could get right now dealing with such an inept organization. read more

Hands down, worst postal service I've ever experienced. I literally just had a neighbor knock on my door to hand me my package that was mis-delivered, even though it has my address written very clearly on it. This is the second package that I've had to order, because the first never even arrived! Want to call them? Enjoy the busy signal at all hours of the day (until closing). Want to talk to them in person? Have fun standing in line forever because the men who work there decide to take breaks after every customer (and are extremely condescending). This is my post office so I am going to give it 3 stars but I think it should actually be 2. Here goes, moved to the area. Had my mail forwarded since 8/8/17. I never got the community box key so I was able to catch the mailman delivering mail. Was told that our box had a vacant sign in it so all mail that has been forwarded is at the post office. Went to the post office, provided all required documentation to prove I lived at the residence and was told the office had none of my mail. The worker did not even get out of his seat to go look and said it was all in our community box. I said nooooo and go check. He got up as if his legs weighed 300 lbs and went to check. When he returned instead of updating me and began a conversation with his coworker next to him about when he's going on break. Ummm ok do you have my mail sir? No mail was found. I asked if I could get a key to our community box. He said that they had to order a lock and would call when it arrived. 2 weeks went by! 2 weeks and I checked each week. Finally a supervisor was able to speak to me and got the lock replaced and keys. Still have lost mail from 8/8-8/23........ read more

I've gotten a lot of unnecessary attitude from the staff at this location... not to mention they've been purposely difficult at times just to get shits and giggles I'm sure. There's a trashcan outside the front door that remained full for over a week a few months back and instead of the staff just emptying the trashcan, they chose to wrap the trashcan in saran wrap and go through the trouble of printing out a sign on the computer that instructed patrons to not put anymore trash in the trashcan. I have had 2 fraudulent, in my opinion,activities just this month. The $1800 dollar rent check was never delivered to our landlord so we had to spend $16 dollars to overnight another one. Then 2 weeks ago I sent a gift card to family in MN and it never got there. Something or someone took it to use for there Christmas and ruining mine. Never had this happen in any other city and I think they need to clean house. They need to have a meeting and talk about attitude, rudeness and really long lines. Worst post office ever! read more

We regularly receive mail for our neighbors. I've filled out requests for certified mail to be redelivered, stayed home the entire day, and it never shows up. Last time when I finally went in person to pick up a certified letter, no one ever answered the door used for mail pickup after waiting and buzzing for 15 minutes. I finally went to the counter where I was berated by the employee for expecting a postal worker to redeliver mail to my house. Apparently the worker came to my front door to deliver a certified mail letter, but that worker can't bring it to my front door to redeliver on the date requested? Really? I have had a broken lock on our mail box for at least two weeks now. I called and spoke to a guy named Floyd last week at this post office. He said no problem come on down with your ID along with something with your address and name on it and we will send someone out to fix it for free. I went there today and was dismissed by the supervisor very rudely and was told WE would have to pay for it to be fixed. She was most rude and completely unprofessional at one point ignoring me and asking the person behind me if she could help them. I tried to explain to her what Floyd said and she said he works for me, I asked to speak to her supervisor and she said I am the supervisor. I asked well what about my mail, she said she would have our carrier check it out and if I wanted my mail I would have to pay for a new lock, The lock is broken on the inside, we have our key, we did not break the lock as we can't even open the dang box. I've seen some negative reviews about some of the postal carriers, but I think I have lucked out! I've now lived here for 9 months and have always had good service from my carrier and from the workers in the post office. After dealing with a post office in North Austin (see my previous reviews for it: McNeil Station) I am SO happy to be dealing with the post office in Cedar Park. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that an entire bank of boxes in my neighborhood was once left open. A neighbor called and the boxes were promptly locked up by USPS. I hope the great service continues! read more
