This branch is completely dysfunctional. My apartment complex's mailboxes are under construction, so our mail is being held here. When I went to pick up a critical document (my car title), the supervisors refused to check the back route bins or explain where my mail was. Instead, they mocked me for asking questions. When I demanded accountability, they immediately weaponized a threat to call the police just because they were angry.To make matters worse, right before this, I watched these exact same supervisors treat a grieving man--who was trying to find mail after his father just passed away--with absolute coldness and cruelty.The leadership here is lazy, aggressive, and lacks basic human empathy. They would rather call the cops on a citizen than do their actual jobs. A formal report is being filed with the USPS Office of Inspector General immediately. read more

I used to give such awful reviews for this post office. They have come around, like full 180! Great job everyone. I had a package that wasn't able to be delivered to my house, so I had to pick it up. I waited in line for a couple minutes. When it was my turn I walked up to the gentleman, said I have a package to pick up. Gave him my address and my drivers license. He left to get the package, came back in a minutes time with my package. He scanned it. A few minutes later I got a text message that the package was picked it. Customer service today was okay at best. I don't know why the clerk asked me for my ID before she proceeded to serve me. No one else needed to show their ID to proof their identity. Anyways, I witnessed a lady get terribly upset when she was asked to step aside. She was very disgruntled and caused a scene. Anyways, this post office is so dirty! The floors are littered with loose leaves and debris. When you first walk inside, there's this trash can near the door that looks like it hasn't been taken out on years. Employees don't seem to be thrilled to be working. Not a smile was cracked. Also, they didn't bother to put the heater on. It's was cold inside. Parking is plenty, but they should cut the grass so the federal building is appealing on the outside. The grass was tall and growing like it was an abandoned lot. My company has been missing mail for around a month and we are unable to get in touch with any supervisor or management to help us. The USPS 800# is the worst!!! After waiting a long time and requesting a call back, the automated system hung up as soon as I answered. We think we have another fraud issue with our mail; but we are unable to verify, because we can't get in touch with anyone to talk to. I print postage at home and take my USPS Priority mail packages to this post office. They NEVER scan them the day they come in and when I look at the tracking it may show label printed, waiting for receipt of package. This can take up to 3-4 days for it to show up scanned and finally moving, They never have enough staff to man the counters. They don't have signs differentiating between the line for passports and the lines for counter service. They do not have a phone number you can actually reach someone at. I have only been lucky enough to get one counter person who wasn't rude. I also stood in a very long line one day and took more than 30 minutes to get to the counter. I wanted to buy stamps. They said they didn't have any. This is a post office. Why would they not have stamps available? read more

They don't answer phones They lose your packages frequently They have to have usps global support contact them before they take any action It is difficult to get in to take care of things during work hours Recently had a package in transit for a month that was shipped from nearby according to the tracker they then found it after I filed a claim and it had clearly been ripped open and content either lost or stolen. I had decided to stop using usps as often as I can get away with while living in this area. The United States postal service is overworked and undervalued but when consistent issues leads to outrage I hope for the workers and the people living in this area that things improve. This seems like an average post office. From the road, it is rather difficult to find due to overgrown brush. In fact, the entire post office property is filled with heavy brush growth. Inside, there are many post office boxes. I saw people in line at the service window, and they seemed happy with the service they were receiving, and the people in line showed no irritation. I think there may be staffing issues because the priority mailing supplies were empty. That doesn't seem like something intentionally overlooked. That said, outside on a fence, there's advertising that they are hiring. This location also has a very large parking lot. read more

Yet to see the worse postal service than this one: - they don't deliver - they loose the packages - they slow - they rude The only reason I go there is that they don't deliver to my apartment complex, every package they mark as `held at post office at customer's request`. Couple of my packages they couldn't locate once I was there to pick them up and normally there's one person in the office complaining about the lost package. If I have something to send I'd better drive to the other location, because these guys loose the packages and you can prove nothing because nothing has been scanned. Went around noon for a passport appointment. There was a long mail line, which there is this time of day at this location. Everyone at the counter was extremely polite and kind, and the older woman who helped me was very personable. I'm sure that not everyone who works there is rude, arrogant, and incompetent, but just about everyone I've dealt with there--clerks and carriers alike--has been exceedingly unpleasant. "not my job," "not my problem," "I can't help you," "I don't know anything about that," -- those are the kinds of responses I've gotten. I have had no mail in a month due to having to move 3x in one month due to dishonest management and criminal activity. I finally opened a po box after I discovered my current management never removed the vacant box indicator in my on-site mailbox. I then went to this branch after opening my po box at the far west branch per that branches recommendation. I asked all my mail to be placed on hold and left fora week. I received notices that I had mail arriving and it had my latest address on it. Believing it would all be held and I would easily pick it up, I drive to this location early only to be told a hold was never placed and my mail is currently being delivered after the supervisor called to verify. I run another errand to give the carrier time to deliver and when I return and try the new key I was finally given by my management 15 days after moving in, it didn't work. I go inside to ask about replacing the key and they tell me the carrier was just there, wanted to hand deliver my mail and because I wasn't there, rather than leave it in my mail box on-site, took it with him yet again. Return back to the branch to see if I can collect my mail and wait for 40 min for the supervisor before being informed he left for the day. What kind of clown show is the USPS now? read more

Worst post office and useless. One worker with a full line and all the workers are slow. They won't deliver to your apartment so you have to come pick your packages up and they're supposed to be a place where you go ring the doorbell to get the package away from the main line, but they never staff it so it's also a waste of time. My mailbox was hit by a hit and run driver 3 days ago and I now have to pick up mail at this location. I thought I'd swing by before work. They opened 17 minutes lates made me wait (1st in line) for another 10 minutes at the door to get my mail. Took my drivers license and made me wait another 10 minutes to then tell me mail hasn't been sorted from 3 days ago and it would be at least 30 minutes. Abysmal. TWICE, for packages requiring a signature they mark it as attempted delivery and don't even knock. They're not even doing what they are PAID to do- deliver. They didn't even have the courtesy to leave a note on my door the second time so I don't think they even tried going to my door. They don't answer their phone and are always understaffed. The drop box is duck taped shut, however it's on a one way road exiting out. So if you didn't know this, you have to exit to the busy road and re-enter to go inside. Willful blatant bias. The supervisor informed today, in person, that for my complex specifically they are not delivering the packages to us directly, nor are they going to notify us when we have packages, nor are they holding the packages. Specifically for my complex, they are same-day marking them as refused AND processing a return to sender. The only option for us to get packages from this FEDERAL service...is for us to pay them. Their website says otherwise but the supervisor advised that IS their procedure for us specifically. Then he had the audacity to say think of it from his perspective....is he the one who can't get packages??? One star for being open until 5:30pm! Not a bad line today around 5pm, but they kept closing down windows for various reasons. Leaving only one window opened at times made the line move slower than anyone would prefer. Only one agent provided customer service warranting two stars. If you have to go after 5, this is the spot. The indoor package drop is ALWAYS locked. Can't drop packages in the lobby before/after hours - LOCKED. Can't drop a package in there DURING business hours - LOCKED. So either you wait in line, or jump the line to interrupt one of the workers. The Mail Drop is open, why not the package drop? So irritating. Go to Far West instead. Also, if you schedule a package pickup, it's a crapshoot to whether or not they give the notice to the mail carriers, so your package may or may not be picked up. read more

Worst post office I've ever been to. Service is beyond terrible. Workers do not do their jobs and yell at customers. I've waited in line at the window to pick up a delivery and no one would open the window despite workers being available. (This after waiting though the whole regular line and being rudely told to go wait by the window by the counter clerk. Uh, no one is ever working the pick up window.) When the elderly man with a cane waiting in front of me asked for someone to help him they yelled at him and still did not open the window. After continuing to wait more I finally gave up and left without my package. I wrote to the company who mailed my item through USPS and explained that the post office is so terrible they need to use a different carrier. Luckily for me they listened and resent the item via UPS and I actually got my item. This post office always has a huge line that goes excruciatingly slowly. The workers like to have random extensive chats with certain people while ignoring the rest who actually need service. They also have no pens at any of the writing areas. So forget it if you need to address something in the post office. I've never seen a post office that didn't even have a pen to write with. Maybe that has to do with the theft in the area. Everyone leaving 1 star reviews needs to get a grip on reality. Yelp will not help your local PO get better federal funding. The staff is nice and does everything they reasonably can. It's not always the best but what do we expect when we keep voting in politicians who want to defund USPS, one of our nation's most vital resources? Also, LOCAL EMPLOYEES HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH FEDERAL POLICIES. Maybe instead of leaving a bad review or getting mad at an employee, you send your complaints to Congress, send a gift basket to USPS, or work there at least part time? We can't volunteer as far as I know. This location is well kept with a very cute memorial bench out front. Lines can get long at BUSY TIMES (before closing) so more seating would be appreciated for those of us with disabilities. I've lived all over the country. I'm 55 years old. Never in my life have I dealt with a more arrogant, incompetent, hostile, non responsive group of people as the public servants at this facility. I came here to get keys to my post office box at my new home two weeks ago. I filled out a change of address form. Two weeks later, no records of my key order. No record of change of address. No hold on mail as requested. Spoke to supervisor filled out a escalation form. Heard nothing back. In line again on a Friday for the fourth time. The staffing is ABYSMAL. Two people working on a Friday at 515 during the busiest season of the year. I am personally going to make it a personal mission to get everyone fired at this location.
