I have recently had 3 packages go missing, tracking says they were delivered however I received no packages. Absolute worst customer service EVER! They lost my package & never followed up with me. My package was never recovered & they didn't even tell me the case was considered resolved or where to make my insurance claim! When I called a man answered & he was so rude! He obviously hates his job! I had to call a completely different 1800 number to get answers & they didn't help very much either the insurance only covers up to $100 each package. One package was over $150 the other $320 but usps will only cover up to $100! Worst experience of my life & all I want is my items! I would give ZERO stars if I could! read more

Standing at the parcel pick up area ringing the door bell and waiting for about 15min. Asked the front desk if someone could help me and was informed no one was back there and I needed to get in line. Line with 15 people and 1 lady doing everything. Understaffed and staff was rude when I asked for help. Go to UPS or Fedex. read more

It's nice to have a post office nearby, and this is the third version over the past 20 years. I have to say this is the nicest and biggest of the three. Although they still don't have a lot of parking for busy times during the day. The help can be divided into 2 groups. The lady that is up front some times is a star. She is so friendly and actually appears happy to help you. The rest of the front staff is usually grumpy (maybe working for the government does that to you). They do their job efficiently. Glad that we have a post office nearby (each version gets a little further away), but wish they had longer hours on Saturday. read more

This post office has the WORST service and "people skills" I have witnessed in a long time. They show a complete lack of care or thought to who they are actually there to serve. For years I have just ignored it...but I realize that choosing to NOT say anything and wait for a change will do nothing. I also see that MANY other people agree with me. You can change "locations" to the business...but if you are going to truly change a business you need to "change" out who works here. The lady who assisted me today in applying for my first time adult expedited passport was very helpful and friendly! I booked an appointment 2 days before and showed up early and she immediately assisted me. I requested an expedited passport with overnight shipping, as I had a last minute trip planned for June 5th and she guaranteed I would receive my passport right on time. Hopefully that happens and I will update if it does! The man who was working with her was also very cooperative and was the person who took my passport photo. They both made this entire process super easy for me, as it all only took about 15 minutes. Furthermore, I filled out the DS-11 application before arriving to the facility but left a few spots blank because I was not sure what to put there, luckily the lady there was patient and assisted me throughout the process. We drove 40 minutes to get to this facility and it was definitely worth it! I highly recommend it to anyone who is currently seeking a passport. Amazing customer service and a weight has definitely been lifted from my shoulders. read more

Mail is delivered late, packages claimed delivered when they aren't, lost, and slow. I received a bill AFTER I received a late notice for not paying that bill. Packages delivered to the facility take forever in the "pending acceptance" status. First, they claim it isn't there. When pushed, they claim they have backlog. I am currently waiting for a package that was delivered to them 10 days ago. It far less time to get from Reno to Texas than it has to get 5 miles to me. One package arrived two weeks AFTER I received the replacement product. Something needs to be done because I've only been here a year. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. We live on a long driveway with a no trespassing sign at the top and no gate, we have told the post office several times that they are welcome to come down despite the no trespassing sign. Today was the last straw, we had a picture delivered and they left it in the rain in the grass at the top of our driveway the package was ruined and if the picture didn't have a plastic cover it would have been ruined. Worst post office around. I came in a few weeks ago to send off my college transcripts and had to ring the bell 3x before a was greeted by anyone. Immediately out of the guys mouth was "Oh! I didn't hear you ring the bell." Why have a bell then if you can't hear it!? Needless to say, I sent my transcripts off. Well fast forward 3 weeks and the school calls me to tell me that my transcripts had not been received and I missed the application deadline! This post office is absolute garbage! Would give zero stars if possible, typing this after i spent my whole day waiting around for my package to be delivered. There was no added instructions by the shipper for a signature to be needed during delivery. Ive been tracking it and it was supposed to be here today by 8:00 pm (as it says on the website). No one showed up today trying to deliver it. Not a single knock at the door, not a single ring of the door bell. Not even a single delivery vehicle came down my street today. By 5:00 pm i checked the tracking section of the usps website only to see that it has a redelivery option or a pick up option. So i mean if it was out for delivery till 8 pm why at 5 pm would it say there was complications delivering it and it needed redelivery. This is nothing but a simple case of someone being lazy and not wanting to simply walk a package to someones porch from their delivery van. Not to mention but this is the 3rd time this has happened through the same post office! Seriously dont understand why my package isnt here when no one made a single attempt to drop it off and there was no signature needed for it to be dropped off. Hoping to god there wont be complications when i come in to pick up what shouldve been delivered, but you never know with these people! read more

We live in Bulverde and have a US post office 2 miles away. I went by to pick up a package and was told all packages would now be picked up at the new 281 location. I took a 28 minute round trip drive to pick up my package. I asked if packages would soon be delivered to our local office again, but was told no. That there were no plans to deliver packages to our local bulverde office. I told her that was incredibly inconvenient. She nicely told me I might want to talk to my neighbors and possibly send one person to their location to get all our packages. i felt like asking for a delivery Jeep and a uniform... I did a passport application today and the lady processing my application was rude. The issue was over the authorized agent I was using. I told her I was aware of the fees and that it wasn't the most efficient or cost effective way, but I'd already used the service and I just wanted to get the process done. She continued to make faces and comments about what I was paying and complaining to me it was taking too long. I was there (by appointment that she approved) with my two kids and we were allotted 30 minutes. We started late because she was doing an app before ours that ran over. I also needed a copy of our itinerary--and she looked at me and said "I'm not making a copy of that, so I don't know what you are going to do, or I'm going to have to charge you." I needed two pieces of paper. And according to her disapproval of what i was paying for passport processing--you'd think I'd be ok with paying for 2 copies. She was rude for no reason. We were on time with all of our paperwork. read more

Entrusted a Christmas package to this post office on 12/11 with expected delivery of 12/17. Today is 12/21. Pkg seems to be missing in action. Online tracking very evasive with basically no information, it left off days ago as to location. I had signed up for text tracking-have not received any. Kicking myself for using the USPS. The Spring Branch office does not answer their phone. This is why USPS has a bad name. While the lady at the counter was very nice, I still hold this location responsible, as I entrusted my package to them. read more

No stars for this post office. We didn't receive mail for 4 days in December, packages were left at the wrong house and now I have not received mail for 2 days. They are now delivering in a small gray car with no markings on it and drive down the wrong lane to deliver the mail. All the time there are packages that are not received when they are listed as delivered in tracking. When you ask someone at the post office they tell you that it is still on the truck for delivery... Why would they mark the package as delivered if it was not delivered? Something is going on at this post office and I hope someone will get to the bottom of it. My MIL has mailed me 3 letters to Florida from this post office and NONE of them have arrived. She takes them in, talks to the person and they say they'll be mailed out "tomorrow." She was told tracking was $15 for a letter. That doesn't make sense. Then I mailed her something. It is marked "delivered" two weeks ago and still hasn't shown up. I filed a claim with the post office, she went in and they told her it would be taken care of that day. After reading the other reviews, I don't feel so alone in this crazy process. The people that I've spoken to at the P.O. itself have been very sweet and helpful, the few of them that are there that is. However they have moved their new office so far away from Bulverde residents that live on the invisible line between what's considered Bulverde and Spring Branch on the P.O. map have to drive a long way now to pick up packages that are bigger than a breadbox or mailbox because they make no effort to deliver even once. When the S.B. office was just up the highway a few miles, the carriers would drop our packages off at the Bulverde office for us. Now that they have moved so far away, those same carriers who still come to Bulverde to deliver mail, no longer drop our packages off at the Bulverde P.O. To me this is the definition of insanity. RUDE! I've lived in this area for 16 years, and I avoid this post office like the plague. The people are exceptionally rude. My son went in to submit his passport application. Of course there were some mistakes - checks not filled out to the right places, signed documents, etc. So instead of coaching him on the right procedure, the heavy set blonde lady (don't know her name, but she's the only one there fitting this description) lays into him about the mistakes. I'm not just saying she pointed out the errors, but rather made him feel like a complete moron. My son grew up in a military household, so he's not a cupcake. When he says someone is rude, they're rude. I've dealt with this lady in years past as well, and it's the primary reason I avoid that place. I've complained to the postmaster in the past, and he completely blew it off. When you think bloated government agency with rude people, the Spring Branch Post Office is your poster child. read more
