Now I understand the low review score. The majority of the employees here are incredible! They go above and beyond. Surprisingly the supervisor Ruben Vela is absolutely HORRIBLE! I've had several issues over the years and he's the one person that refuses to right the mistakes his employees have made. When I arrived, it felt pretty warm like their air condition had just broken down. The people that work there had fans on them though and when I was working with them, the fans made it really nice and cool for them so that's good because they have to work there all day. I went to certify mail something and keep in mind that they don't help you complete the paperwork, you have to fill all of that out yourself before you go up to the counter. Try to do your homework before so you're not standing in line just to be told about the paperwork you need to do. You'll lose your place in line so that you can fill the paperwork out on one of the tables. If you want to certify mail something there's one piece of paperwork for that and if you want a return signature, that's an extra piece of paperwork that will get taped to your letter. Also, don't forget to bring the envelope that you want to send your letter in or you'll need to buy one from there. Altogether to mail a check locally it came out to around $11 dollars. It was worth it to me to not have to see the people the check was going to again. I don't know if there's a good time to go to this location because it seems to be busy no matter what time of day I've gone. So just go when you have time and roll the dice on how long you'll have to wait. With that said, even when I've been in a long line it's moved fairly quickly. read more

We get other people's mail and other residence gets ours. Let me start off by saying I have never once written a complaint. I hate those people but this situation is messed up. My husband and I moved to stone oak 5 months ago in a townhouse rental. In September 2025 we were told to get our mailbox keys at this location. The staff here does not care about their job and have been very rude and argumentative when I have asked for updates on our key situation. It went from blaming teens for destroying mailboxes then saying our mailman was injured then saying the keys are on back order and they will for sure be here end of January. Today I got nothing. Nobody knows what is going on here & I have heard excuses every time I have come to this location as to why we still don't have access to our mailbox. That being said we rely on this post office to hold our mail. Today I left empty handed no key no mail and the last time I checked our mail was a month ago. I have a package with tracking that shows it was delivered here. All I got was attitude "sorry no key no mail try later". I called our leasing office Alamar & she stated they came in last week and told the lady's up front they are no longer holding our whole community's mail and are no longer making our keys. Our leasing office went to this location to clear up this situation to help us have access to our mail and of course they had no idea. This is the worst experience I've ever had. Overall decent Post Office but the employees really try to push self-service and don't listen to customers. Beware of being pulled out of the "normal" line and being pushed into self service. Date: Dec.4, 2025- Horrible experience!! I arrived at 5:29 and they said they were closed but helped the person in front of me and they were supposed close at 6 pm according to website but they said they closed at 5:30 pm. But it was before 5:30 when I arrived. The man working packing and moving boxes was rude, however, the lady behind register offered to help me, as she looked at the time, but the man said NO again. It was very degrading, it was raining outside, and he sent me to another location. It was dark, I got lost trying to find the post office at the airport location and didn't get home until 7 pm. I went in to set up an appointment to apply for a passport. I was greeted by Elijah, he was super helpful in getting it set up very quickly, reviewed my documents and helped me prepare for what to bring for my appointment, how much the fees will be, where to get my picture taken etc. I was in and out of there in about 15-20 minutes. It's no point calling this place to complain - they never pick up to the point that other local POs will happily give you their backline and they no longer respond to written complaints so I guess it's Yelp So many issues with this place I do not know where to begin - this is our main PO and deliveries are generally a problem in our neighborhood - whether it is gift cards and checks that mysteriously never show up ( every one of my husbands 40th birthday cards never made it to our home); Christmas cards 'accidentally ' ripped in one corner just enough to check the contents or package pick ups marked as collected while they sit on my doorstep with no attempt made to collect them - we have cameras and unless it's one particular mail guy they sit uncollected. Vacation mail not delivered for days after it was supposed to resume etc etc Tonight - it's the Holidays - we know 'porch pirates ' come out at this time of year to snap up packages - so what does USPS do? Put them in a locked mailbox - no. Put them on my secluded porch where my Ring can track them - why no - apparently walking up a couple of steps is just too much effort!! No they leave them in the drive way in full view of any wannabe thief, propped up against the garage so had we driven out , said packages would be toast!! Luckily we open the garage and heard the thud as they landed against the car ! There are many hard working good people looking for jobs. I've only been to this location once, but it had a nice layout. The staff was incredibly friendly and despite there being a dozen or so people in line, they got thru everyone pretty quickly. I was here at the start of the shutdowns due to the pandemic and my only complaint is that other than a paper sign on the door, there was nothing in place to remind people to social distance, or to prevent the lobby from having too many people in it. read more

We've been at our new address less than two months, and we've already had to make multiple trips and phone calls to resolve delivery issues. It all started when they put a green vacancy notice in our mailbox that had a different address on it. We were getting mail for at least a week, and everything was fine. We do not know why they put a notice (for someone else's address at that) in our box. When they did that, they returned the mail that had been delivered back to sender. It took two or three trips to the post office and multiple calls to get everything straightened out. Oh, and getting someone to pick the phone up there is like winning the lotto. The line usually rings out and disconnects. All was going well for about two weeks after the green vacancy notice fiasco. Then earlier this week, we find out they changed our lock. We have no idea why they did that. And this was after they told us the lock was NOT changed, and there was probably a piece of mail preventing the lock from turning. This took two trips and two phone calls to try and fix. So we get and use the new keys only to find our mailbox empty. ??! We're signed up for Informed Delivery Digest, so we know what's arriving, and we definitely had mail. The USPS has a proven track record of incompetency, and this place has not disappointed in that aspect. read more

This is probably the most inefficient post offices I've ever dealt with. My mail carrier insists on delivering nothing to the door or leasing office, but will always leave a notice that he attempted it. His attempts go as far as his laziness allows. The post office has stolen packages but blames it on porch thieves. The problem there is that I have cameras which prove they never delivered the packages in the first place. After covid things grew worse as the desk clerks will allow the package pick up line to weave around the inside of the lobby instead of taking everyone in order to get the line moving. They'll literally stand at the counter and watch is wait for upwards of an hour instead of calling us forward to retrieve our packages, which, we wouldn't have to come to the post office to pick up if our lazy mail carrier actually did his job. No wonder the post office is going out of business. read more

They had a substitute driver yesterday, January 18th, 2022. They apparently delivered 6 packages and, possibly my mail to someone else. This happens way too often! This is quite possibly the worst Post Office I have been to. Both times I have been, the staff moves at a glacial pace and has no regard for who is next in line. So I am expecting a package deliver via USPS on 5/20/2021. The USPS tracking shows the package arrived in San Antonio postal facility at 6:42 on 5/20/2021 then shows it "Out for Delivery" at 6:53 on 5/20/2021. So far all looks great. Then the package never shows. I go back to the tracking app to find the status has changed at 12:04 pm on 5/20/2021 to "Available for Pick-Up" . So they had it on the truck to put in the parcel box in my neighborhood and then decide to take it back to the post office and I now have to go pick it up. They didn't even put a notice in the mailbox. I would not have even known any of this if not for the tracking app. So why couldn't they leave it in the neighborhood parcel box? It's leather conditioner products. No signature required. What a joke. I hate it when vendors ship anything other than UPS or FEDEX. read more
