We celebrated our 6-7 Birthday at Bistro Byronz on 2/28! Excellent service and food. Jonathan, our server, was amazing.

One of my favorite spots in Mandeville! The service is always top-notch, and the food never disappoints. I really admire how the owner/manager is so hands-on, frequently checking in with tables to make sure guests are happy. What impresses me most is that he's not above jumping in to help, whether that means clearing a few dishes or grabbing something a customer needs. That kind of leadership and attention to detail makes the experience here stand out every time. Be sure to try out the Bleu Cheese chips with crab on the appetizer list, it's one of our faves!

Food and drinks both delicious. Good value on both. All staff are great. Place is clean.

The food here is pretty good. This is the second time I came to this restaurant and I'm so impressed. I got the delmanico steak the first time and this time I got the steak sandwich. It's very good. For appetizers my sister and I got the wontons (not by my choice) but it was good. The waiter we had was super nice and the owner came by and asked us how we liked everything. Overall, a great place.

Service: 5/5 Server was awesome! Food: 4.5/5 Cajun shrimp and eggplant pastas for awesome! Cajun crab wontons were ok. Son liked the gumbo. High quality! Ambience: 4/5 Nice restaurant Cost: 5/5 Given the quality of the food/service, the pricing was very reasonable. With two drinks, appetizer, entree, soup and two deserts it didn't break the bank! Overall: 5/5 We'll be back!

Salmon, au gratin potatoes and sautéed spinach. Dinner portion: 8oz salmon.

We were seated at a table with a dirty linen and had to help replace it. After that, we waited about 20 minutes without any acknowledgment from a server. Throughout the evening, we repeatedly had to flag someone down just to order, request bread, and get refills. The hostesses were the only consistently attentive part of the experience. The food was mediocre at best. The meatballs were bland, the eggplant was decent but the shrimp had an off aftertaste, and the Caesar salad was average. The redfish entrée was the most concerning STRONG fishy smell and taste, and appeared improperly cleaned. It took over 1.5 hours just to receive it. Service recovery was minimal by the "manager" Our concerns were brushed off, and while the dish was removed from the bill, there was no real effort to address the experience. At this price point, both the food and service should meet a much higher standard. It feels like this restaurant is relying on its location and atmosphere rather than delivering a quality dining experience. Sad!

The building reminded me more of what I would encounter in northern Sonoma, to the west of Healdsburg, or further south in the Paso Robles region. The tasting room is a decent size, although as I was the only visitor at the time, it seemed quite large. Quite a different experience from trying to enter on a Saturday night of a Jazz'n in the Vines concert. There is a patio terrace next to the building which overlooks the vineyard. Since it was a blazing hot June afternoon, I stayed inside rather than sit on the patio. There were seven wines to taste for a modest $5 fee. Four were from sourced grapes (California), two were American/French hybrids grown on the estate and the final was from a native American cultivar, also grown on the estate. All vintages were between 2005 & 2007, except for the recently released Syrah/Cabernet blend which is a 2009. I liked the Roux Saint Louis (a white wine based on the Blanc du Bois grape) as a nice summer wine. The Rouge Militaire is based on the American Cynthiana/Norton (a native red grape). It's a heavier red wine, and still needs a little time to open up. John Seago, the winemaker is often behind the bar, in the tasting room, but was out working the fields on this trip.

I would give them 5/5 stars now. The best part of the night was great service lead by Ms. Sydney. She understood the menu, gave recommendations and clear explanations of how items were prepared, and was quick with a joke! I literally almost spit my water out laughing at one point!!! The wine selection was amazing and paired well with the entrees ordered. I have to give a disclaimer that, at our table was the person that distributed the liquor.... So he knew what bottles were the ones we had to have with our meals. The mixed drinks were great too. I had an espresso martini, but also tasted my friends's sazeracs and old fashions. All were great! I was pleasantly surprised when the bill came as we ordered several appetizers, drinks, bottles of wine, and dessert!
