Amazing dealership, if you can really call it a true dealership. I recently sold my daily driver…read moreand was in the market for a car. I was searching all day and looking at different lots, but they either didn't have what I wanted, were too pushy, or flat out wasted my time. I found them as I was traveling north up the valley and pretty much was going to give up after them if I didn't find the car I was looking for. I searched their up-to-date website that had honest pricing and no shady "call for price". I found a car I was interested in and headed there. I went in and was greeted and shown the car. I looked it over and really loved the personal touches they put on each vehicle they had (mine had a new set of rims and tires that fit perfectly with the vehicle). After test driving, rather than rush for the sale, Nate really asked questions to get to know me and explained Black Rock and their philosophy about how you should leave with a car that makes others wonder where you went, instead of a car that everyone and their mother-in-law drives (my paraphrase not his exact words). This is a small business I was glad I stumbled upon, and even happier I was able to patronize. I didn't read any of the reviews before I went in, but I wasn't surprised when I saw all the 5-stars on them. Thank you again for my Jeep, and I already have had a few people asked where I went and how did I get it at the great price I did. I definitely shared your website and will continue to do so.

We were referred to Nate by our friends who purchased their Tesla X from him & totally recommended…read morehim because of their great experience they had. Nate seriously listened to my wants on my 4Runner & made it a reality. He went above and beyond what I asked for! We dealt with Nate the entire time, from start to finish. He helped my husband & I find & customize my dream 4runner that stayed within our budget loan & monthly Pmt!!! He's not your typical sales person that tries to sell you a car ASAP just to make money off you, but rather he listened to our concerns & needs/wants & was able to answer and respond back quickly through out the entire process even when we were out of state talk about building relationships Thank you So much Nate we seriously appreciate ya! I can't tell you enough how much I my 4Runner and the constant compliments I get from folks. Definitely won't be the first or last car we purchase from you

This was an ordeal. I collect cars and have purchased 14 over the years, but this had to be the…read moreworst and most amateur experience I have ever had. On July 9, 2024 I purchased a 1965 Ford Ranchero from Haake Motors in Layton UT. The car was a consignment sale, but I was not able to pick it up until July 28 because the dealer got their own Utah title which was not necessary (remember it was a consignment sale). It gets even better. Haake Motors never sent the title to m y home state of Nevada until November 22, 2024, four months after I picked up the car. I previously called several times asking them to send the title. Total amateurs. I was assured the car was ready to go. After all, it was represented as a great driver in it's Las Vegas home. It was clean and appeared fine, and I checked under the hood for any apparent leaks. None found. All clean. I was told the AC was fine. I started the four hour drive back to my home and realized the air was not working, but decided to continue my trip. Within 50 miles the car was overheating. Under the hood the thermostat housing and water pump gaskets were leaking, and were cleaned up before I picked the car up. The AC hose fittings at the firewall were all hand loose, so the AC was never working. I got as far as St. George and ended up having the car transported to my home, 180 miles away. It was clear this car could not have been a Las Vegas driver...no AC and water gasket leaks. I called the dealer and spoke with the salesman telling him about my plight, and asked for consideration. Nothing ever happened. No follow-up from them. No concern. Nothing. Only a botched title transfer and vehicle misrepresentation.

The team is very friendly and easy going, we got a fair trade in value for our truck and am very happy with the new one. I was told they are under new management and have changed the way they have done things in the past. Would for sure recommend them.

Here is the bad: 1. The salesperson knew absolutely nothing about the vehicle. We asked a lot of questions and he knew nothing. 2. The salesperson left us every few minutes to help other customers, leaving us sitting in the vehicle. 3. Several times when we asked specific questions, the salesman said he would ask his manager. He would leave us, then return 15-20 minutes later and forgot to get the answer from the manager. 4. They lowballed me on the price of my trade-in, which was quite a bit lower than the trade-in value on KBB. I started to walk out the door, but the salesman said he would talk with the manager again. 20 minutes later the manager came out and fed us with garbage about kbb is not accurate and they would lose money on the trade-in. Blah blah. Again, I was not ready to bite so we proceeded to leave again. Then another manager came out and asked us "what do you want your monthly payment to be?" We didn't want to settle on a number but finally they agreed to a reasonable price that we eventually agreed on. Don't you love the wheeling and dealing of car dealerships? Always a game with them! 5. An hour later we finally met with the finance guy to go over numbers. This is where it gets really bad. First of all, he played games with the numbers, putting in things that we had to and ask him to remove again. Then, he in a excited voice told us that we qualified for Ford's PremiumCare plan which covers almost everything. We of course didn't believe it. He wrote on a paper how it covered the engine, tires, transmission, body, etc. etc. It was truly too good to be true. I have never heard of a warranty that covers everything for 20 years of 500,000 miles. NOBODY keeps a vehicle at long. After really trying to get him to explain how this kind of warranty was possible, he excused himself for a few minutes, and left. A few minutes later his came back with his manager. He told us that the actually warranty was nearly $10,000, but he said he made a mistake and only charged us $5000. His manager said that it was their mistake and would give it to us for $5000. The finance guy has been working there for a while and you are telling me he didn't know the cost of this so-called Ford Premium warranty? Good job guys, that was an amazing acting job. 6. We decided to bite on the warranty and he had to print it 4 times to get it right because he added things to it that we did not agree to. I looked a the 2-page warranty, and then he told us that the tires and rims were a separate policy, I looked at that 2-page document. It didn't have any information on it regarding what was really covered, just some general things. By the way, there was nothing on those sheets that said FORD on it. The company offering the warranty was Gold Standard Automotive Network! We were tired of the games he also played with our interest rate, claiming he could buy some of it down for us (which he did not do), so we signed what was left and drove away in our truck. 7. The finance manager gave me his personal phone number and said I could call him anytime if I asked questions. When I got home, I had a lot of questions about the warranties, so I tried to call him during normal business hours. I called five times on the same day. I was told he was there, but was with other customers. I called the next day and talked with our salesman. He said he would get a message to him and that he would call soon. Six hours later nothing. I called again, got another salesman who also said that he would give him the message. Again, no call. During this time, I texted him multiple times over 3 days. No response. On the fourth day, he finally texted me back and said he would call me soon. All day went by, nothing. The next day, nothing. I called again, nothing. 8. I called the Gold Standard Automotive Network and asked for specific documentation that detailed what was covered and the stipulations. They emailed me all the correct documents. We carefully read through both the tire and lifetime policies. Now remember the finance guy told us that the warranty pretty much covered everything and was a Ford Premium Care warranty. The person at Gold Standard Automotive Network specifically said that they do not have the Ford Premium Care warranty but carried their own services. After reading the red tape and lawyer-talk, I can tell you that the warranties definitely do NOT cover everything. If fact, the warranty covers very little. There are so many stipulations and exclusions, that I doubt I would be able to actually get and money out of them. If you go to their website and the BBB, you will find that many many people have been screwed over by this company, with just a handful actually getting anything out of them. DO NOT LET THEM TALK YOU INTO ANY EXTENDED WARRANTY!
