Utah Motor Company had the best selection of lightly used Duramax Diesels on the Wasatch Front. I'd highly recommend them!

Great experience with this dealership. No surprises, and no confrontation. They offered the CARFAX report and picked us up at the airport.

What they didn't tell me is that they charge 500.00 for that 'benefit'. they have an anti-theft perk if I bought from them. what they didn't tell me is that was going to cost me 300.00. They also have this great windshield program that if my windshield breaks, they will replace it. That great program was a mere 1500.00 to cover a 5 year period. In my paperwork, I received the registration form for the windshield replacement program, but not the actual warranty. Here I am a year later checking into it, and had to call and argue with the finance guy to give me the warranty details. It turns out, it isn't an insurance, it is a product that they apply on the windshield. They choose to 'fix' the windshield and have pre approved glass providers I have to go to. I already have windshield coverage for my vehicles and they insisted that normal windshield coverage would not cover this expensive windshield. Not true. When I finally got the windshield warranty, there are so many exclusions it will be nearly impossible to collect. I admit, I should have read every bit of information before signing and required written explanation on every concern or question. That is clearly on me. However in the buying process, most people trust that the dealership is honest, laws protect the consumer, or 'I'll read everything when I get home because it takes so long". I no longer trust dealerships, and maybe never should have. They tell have truths, and omit information for the customer to make an informed decision. buyer beware.

The time at the dealership was quick and we got to drive it home about an hour after we got to the dealership. Then I had some back news where Tyacke was able to come in and go above and beyond. The next day I brought it home - the truck would not start up. I was devastated as I was really excited about the vehicle. I knew that a used car dealer had no obligation to help when I bought a 30yr old car as is. I reached out to Chris just to let him know what was going on and how I felt. Chris offered to take the car and look at it for me and found that there was a huge issue with the engine. What shocked me is that he gave me an option at that point - we could undo the sale and I could go on my merry way - or they could help get it running again with a new engine they located. I chose to trust Chris and see how far the repair path would go, I really wanted this thing running again! It took longer than either of us expected but. This went above and beyond to be fair throughout the process even covering payments for the car while it was in the shop for a few months. While the process was a few months, I got my truck back running better than ever! I think it can be hard to find people with integrity and looking to do the right thing for customers and the community - Chris and Tyacke have it all.

Within a couple weeks, the check engine light started coming on. I had someone come out to the house and they told me that cylinder one was misfiring and that it was probably a spark plug that needed to be changed. I explained that the spark plugs had just been changed. They then tested the battery, and since it was the original battery that came with the car and was 12 years old, they suggested I change the battery. So I took the car to Lexus and we had the battery changed. The check engine light kept coming on and off and on and off. I took it back to Lexus who said cylinder one was misfiring and it was a spark plug. So that I wouldn't be charged the $500 to change the spark plug, they suggested I take it back to Clegg and give them the opportunity to fix the problem, since it was still under warranty with them. I took the car back to Clegg on January 29, 2025. I dropped it off at 11:15 AM. I asked them to just change the spark plug. They didn't want to do that and kept telling me that it was something else wrong with the car. Their diagnostics weren't coming up with anything and I told them that two other people had told me it was the spark plug that they changed. I asked him to just go in and change the spark plug again. They kept coming up with excuse after excuse. I finally picked up the car at 5:15 PM. What it turned out was that they did not want to spend the four hours in labor that would take to change the spark plug. So I took it back to Lexus. I had to pay Lexus $478.13 and they wound up tightening a spark plug that they said was loose. I asked Clegg to just pay the money that I spent, and they refused. They keep talking about wanting to work with me and they were just looking out for my best interest. Clearly they weren't. They told me they spoke to Lexus and the people there exonerated them and their work, which is a lie. I called Lexus immediately after I spoke to them and they said they never said anything like that. Clegg was looking out for their own interest and getting away with not honoring their warranty. I'm sure their response to this negative review will be that they've been trying to call me or they would like me to call them to resolve the issue. But it's not getting resolved, so now I have to sue them in small claims court. Spare yourself to trouble. They may be nice, they may be polite, and their prices may be lower than everyone else, but they do not stand behind their work. They certainly do not honor their warranties. I had to take my car somewhere else to get their workmanship fixed. ETA: at 4:14 PM on the day of this review, I got a call from the general manager. His exact words to me were, "I just got off the phone with Lexus and they told me that it was not the spark plug." I then called Lexus, who said they had never spoken with the general manager, but only with Cameron, the manager of the Spanish Fork branch. When I texted the general manager back, he admitted he had never spoken to Lexus, that Cameron did. I'm glad I'm taking notes when they call, because these people clearly like to lie. I did text the general manager that if they paid me the money I was out, I would not be taking them to small claims court, and would delete this review.

When I went to fix the issue, I discovered the dealership had installed a right rear light that doesn't even belong to this car, and it wasn't plugged in because it doesn't fit properly. After buying what I thought was the correct replacement and removing it, I found out that wasn't the right part either, and the third brake light was also incorrect and left unplugged. So essentially, multiple lighting components were mismatched and knowingly left non-functional. I ended up having to go to a junkyard myself, pull the correct parts, and install everything just to make the car safe and legal to drive. On top of that, I also discovered the spare tire underneath the vehicle was so loose it could have fallen off while driving, which is a serious safety hazard. This goes far beyond a minor oversight. These are basic safety items that should have been properly checked and installed before selling the vehicle. Newest update - couple months in: check the vehicle to CREGG Mechanic in Spanish Fork to get the oil changed and they had told me that the dealership might I remind you that they had told me that they were going to change the oil before I purchased the car... And sent me a video of them filling the oil. Fast-forward: The mechanic stated that because of the overflow of oil a gasket blew and was leaking all over the spark plugs. I have to replace the gasket which will be $700 plus the spark plug plugs which is $400. Absolutely ridiculous, This dealership is not honest. I would strongly recommend anyone considering buying from here to thoroughly inspect everything or take the car to a trusted mechanic before purchasing.

Our Sales Rep John knew every detail of his product and provided us outstanding service on the day of delivery. I traveled from NV to Provo GMC to purchase a truck since the dealerships in Las Vegas had limited inventory and wanted to be difficult when it came to closing a deal. Not the case with Joe and his team. They responded immediately to my online inquiry and notified me they had two of the vehicles in stock. By the end of the day, we had agreed to a price that was lower than any other dealership had quoted me. On top of that, they promised to hold the vehicle for me until I could drive up from Las Vegas. The day of delivery could not of gone smoother. The truck looked amazing and John made sure we understood how everything worked since I was upgrading from a 2006 GMC Sierra that lacked all the new tech. John has even reached out a couple times post purchase to make sure I have no questions. Bottomline, I give Provo GMC my highest marks and whole heartedly recommend them. In that short time, it's already been in the shop three times and now it needs a completely new engine. Before the engine failure, I even tried to sell it back to Provo GMC at a financial loss, hoping to cut my losses early, but they wouldn't even consider it. It's clear to me now that there were underlying issues from the beginning. I'm incredibly disappointed by how this situation has been handled and by the lack of accountability from the dealership. I expected better both in terms of product quality and customer care. You have my all my info to call me so just do that!
