Awful scammers, I bought a 2016 Toyota Corolla from them a year ago. They said it had been fully serviced and was ready to go. The car seemed to work well and nothing appeared wrong. We bought the car and after a few weeks the check engine light came on and the car completely died. Turns out the car had no air filter and some debris got sucked into the engine. The repair was expensive and Drive refused to take any accountability in selling us a car they said was fully serviced but in reality had no air filter. Our old car unfortunately but the dust after just a couple of ears of usage and so we went hunting in the local market for the best deal and vehicles available. We knew we wanted something reliable and we knew we wanted something that would last... we also knew that we hated the used car salesman shopping experience. Drive auto was really chill, really flexible and friendly as well. No pushy salesman tactics or techniques - just a very transparent shopping experience. Very little if any wiggle room on pricing which is probably the only downside, but overall it was a pain free buying experience. Would definitely recommend them as they have great reviews, are friendly, and don't try and force you into anything. They even have something called 'overnight test drive' which means you can take the car for 24 hours to see if you like the vehicle! That's probably one of the nicer aspects! read more

I have never had a better experience buying a car. I found the listing for my dream car via KSL and was able to test drive it almost immediately. They were actually remarkably accommodating with the test drives. The day I took it to a mechanic I was in a huge rush and they had the car waiting for me so I could leave quickly. They even parked my car to save me time. I was leery of going to a small used car lot, expecting the old cliches of used car salesmen. I could not have been more wrong! Drive's office space has a cool industrial look and everybody I worked with was very helpful and pleasant. They have a CarMax kind of vibe, in that you don't haggle, nor will you need to, but you're supporting a local business which is ideal. I recommend this business without any hesitation. read more

I bought an Audi from these guys and initially they were great about addressing issues I have had. Now the car is having multiple problems, mostly loud squeaky brakes and missing parts under the car the Audi dealer caught. It is going back to the repair shop this Monday for more problems and it's getting expensive. Moral of the story, do NOT buy an Audi from a non-certified dealer such as this one. read more

I am very surprised this dealer had good reviews at all. This was hands down the worst car buying experience of my life. This dealership is dishonest and writes up fraudulent car contracts. This is how Drive Auto Sales does business. I bought my car and signed the paper work at a good rate that I was happy with for my credit. That very same evening they took my contract, ripped off the signature page, and attached it to another contract that had a higher rate! The contract literally says "Any changes to this contract must be in writing. Both you and I must sign it. No oral changes to this contract are enforceable" And in the crookedest move I've seen out of car dealer, they basically forged a contract at a higher rate and sent it to the loan company. I only caught it when my first payment came due at a higher amount. When I called to have the error fixed they initially blew me off by saying "that happens all the time with car loans" and they even said...."but I tried to call you that night to tell you the loan rate went up." This is pathetic that the dealership didn't even know that oral changes to the contract were illegal. Or they are even more pathetic that they DID know and were willfully breaking the law anyway. By admitting that they called me....they were admitting they were breaking the law! I had to involve the loan company to get the car dealer to take notice. The loan company was mortified when I told them to compare signature pages so they could see that their loan at a higher rate was totally fraudulent and that they were holding an illegal loan. So the dealer made it right and wrote up a new contract at the proper rate. Only because they had to. This dealer is dishonest. DO NOT buy a car here. In my opinion I am not the only person they have done this too. This is my first review on Yelp. This company warrants a review so NOBODY will be taken for a ride again with fraudulent business practices. This is a totally accurate review. I even have my contract and the lenders contract so anyone can see they used the same signature page to jack my interest rate up after I signed the contract. read more

We purchased a 2013 Porsche Cayenne in August 2020. Car was shipped to Nashville and when it arrived the back window mechanism did not work. The dealership was good and paid to get that fixed. The car however continues to have multiple problems... multiple electrical issues, oil leak, gas leak... we have spent thousands to keep the car running. Bought our Toyota Corolla from them 2.5 years ago. Just found out that structural damage was reported on our car four months AFTER we bought it from them. So when we purchased from them, it didn't show on the Carfax, but now it does - which drops the value of our car (now that we're looking to trade it in for our growing family.) Also means we likely overpaid, when we thought we got a good deal. The title is still "clean", but Toyota dealership we went to today said they don't sell cars with "structural damage", so even if they take the trade-in, it won't be for much. We used to have only good things to say about Drive Auto, but not anymore. Completely dishonest. They either sold it knowing about the damage, or they didn't do their homework. While I have read some reviews of this car dealership in which there were some bad experiences, we had a great experience. Sure if you trade in a car you will get nothing for it. That is the rule, that is how all dealers make a business. We bought a Lexus, low mileage, perfect condition and several thousand less that here in Boise and are I dare I say, much less than Calif. Riley was totally and completely fair. I think if you see a car there you must do your homework, background and prices before you buy anything. We gave a deposit sight unseen to hold the car. Visited this dealership today cause they had a vehicle on their lot that I definitely wanted to buy. After the test drive, I talked to the sales lady to pin a price on this awesome vehicle. I listed the problems that the vehicle had. most of the 12 problems on my list were cosmetic or electrical issues, and coverup paint on the underbody and suspension to hide the rust. The sales lady hated that I had a list of problems, but listened as I explained what I observed. I understand auto sales very much. i also understand book values. when a car is in not in good condition, you will not get a price even higher than high book for the vehicle. If they would have come down to low book value, even with them trying to cover up some damage, I would have given them the cash and took care of the vehicles issues at my own cost. As I left the dealership, one of the front office ladies was outside talking to another associate saying "that guy over there found a list of problems". We were looking to trade in my small Honda for a big family car. Out of all the cars and other dealerships we looked at, Drive had a car that was being sold for less than KBB listed it for, and it had the lowest miles of any car we had driven. Took it to a mechanic and everything looked great, even with new parts inside. The only downside was when we went to sign for a loan, we let them know what time we were coming, and we still had to wait a while for them to gather everything needed, just for a signature. Dealing with Brock on an attempt to purchase a vehicle. He was "friendly" enough but slow in response. We were extremely interest in purchasing a vehicle from them immediately. Even having to travel over 600 miles to do the deal. He extremely low balled my trades value less than 1/2 of what I got for it last night when I purchased from a different dealer on an exact car. The people are friendly and it is a nice place. But the cars are all from auction or have accidents reported on carfax even tho they have clean titles. I had to replace the alternator just 6 days after buying. Then it had a slew of other problems. Lost $3,000 when I traded it in just 5 weeks later. You'll get a good deal, just be prepared the car might need some fixing. The warranty it comes with is only power train so unless the transmission goes out or the engine dies, it won't be covered. I'd only recommend it if you are a mechanic or have someone that can fix it if something goes wrong. read more

I LOVE Drive Auto. This was a great experience. All the sales guys were very knowledgeable and they were super easy going. They didn't use any high-pressure sales tactics. Before I bought the car, I noticed some small things that needed work (door handle and windshield wipers) and they took care of it right away. When I noticed the Bluetooth didn't hook up with my phone, they wrote in my contract that they would fix it. They have been so friendly, accommodating and informative. Something must have been wrong with the vehicle and they didn't want me to find out. I would rather pay more somewhere else that is honest and has integrity. The salesman/owner, whatever, is horrible. My daughter had been looking at this lot, test drove a few cars in doing research on the best car to buy. One day she asked if I could drive a red honda civic,her the white civic and check it out with her mechanic. The red car was decided to be the best, we checked around the body & found paint coming off corner of bumper.Took it back, told him, he said he would have it fixed. My daughter went back several different times, and no one was there to talk to about the red car. Today she called about the red car & also test driving a Toyota Rav 4, he was horrible to her. Told her not to come back to the lot, or could not text drive another car because she put the large scratch on the red car. He just lost a sale. Daughter very upset, has been dealing with personal issues and this topped it. I was going to co/sign for her. I called & told him I was the one that drove that car, and nothing happened. Apparently there is a limit as to how many cars you can test drive, and he will accuse you of damage. read more
