Great customer service done without benefitting him , just a really good guy doing his best to help me out. At the time of sale, Big Tex staff knew I was operating commercially and for hire, yet did not clearly explain what derating the trailer would mean in practical terms -- specifically how much it would severely limit usable payload, despite the trailer being physically capable of more. As a business owner, I relied on the dealership's expertise to explain the implications of the product they were selling. After realizing the impact this has had on my operations, I reached out multiple times by email seeking guidance or a solution. I was eventually told the trailer could not be re-rated, leaving me stuck with equipment that does not meet my business needs -- something that could have been avoided with full transparency at the time of purchase. I'm not accusing Big Tex of doing anything illegal, but I do believe they failed to properly inform a commercial customer about the real-world consequences of buying a derated trailer. This has caused unnecessary financial and operational hardship for my business. I strongly recommend that other business owners ask very detailed questions and get everything in writing before purchasing a derated trailer from this location.

Some of my Jeep friends recommended Riverside Hitch & Trailer, and then my Jeep dealer also referred me to them. After receiving two separate recommendations, I decided to take my Jeep there. I am so glad I did. The woman who helped me was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. She came out, looked at my Jeep, and explained that I did not need all of the extra work I had originally been quoted because my Jeep was already wired. I basically only needed the hitch installed, which saved me about $1,000. They were able to squeeze me in, and the work was completed much faster than I expected. So far, the quality looks great, my Jeep looks awesome, and the customer service was excellent. I have not attached the trailer yet, but I am already very pleased with my experience. I would definitely recommend Riverside Hitch & Trailer. They were honest, professional, fast, and saved me a lot of money.

The lady behind the counter was pleasant but insisted on charging a 15% "re-stocking" fee. I mildly protested but it did no good, so they got to keep $6. I hope they think this antiquated policy is worth it because I will never return. Items like this were available at, you, Amazon (free returns) but I wanted to support a local retailer. No good deed goes unpunished, I guess.

I needed free-backing drum brakes installed on my boat trailer, along with all the wiring. My trailer originally didn't have brakes, and I thought it would be a simple project--but I was completely wrong. I found this company on Google, gave them a call, and just three days later they came out to do the installation. My first impression was excellent. They were friendly, professional, and even cracked a few jokes while explaining exactly what they were going to do and how long the job would take. Their work truck was clean, they were well-organized, and all three technicians were professional and respectful. I left them working in my garage while I went to work, and when I came home a few hours later, everything was finished. The installation was outstanding. My garage was spotless, the brake system looked professionally installed, and all the wiring was neatly hidden inside the trailer frame instead of hanging underneath. The attention to detail really stood out. I've already put a few hundred miles on the trailer and launched my boat several times, and everything has worked flawlessly. I highly recommend them for any trailer brake installation or trailer repair. I'm extremely happy with the quality of their work. Thank you!

I hadn't done it before, so I asked if I could hang out, watch and learn so I at least know what's going on inside there. Well my wheels didn't have nearly enough grease from the factory so it's good I had them come by, they replaced bearings and adjusted brakes, I'm confident in their work and know I'm safe on the road. Legit the kindest people you could ask for, thorough and know their stuff. I ask questions, they can answer them and explain what they're looking at and looking for. There's a reason their reviews are great, this is who you want to take care of your vehicles.

He also replaced the awning fabric which I provided. We noticed huge scratches on it right above the door on the new fabric when it is rolled up. The new awning came with a new pull strap and anchors and anchor lines. Hector decided to use the old strap and did not provide the other parts. When we picked the trailer up and paid, he got it out of storage with a forklift, parked it at the curb and just left, didn't go over the repairs or anything with us, just left. When we backed up to hook up to the truck, both batteries were stone dead! This was because he left my rv out on the street all week using battery power during the repairs and didn't bother to plug it to charge it when I told him I would pick it up the following afternoon after work. I guess that's why he split so fast. A mysterious new dent in the skirting near the slide where they working appeared! Rugs in the trailer were flipped over while they were working and were filthy from their footprints on the underside. So lazy and ghetto! Failed to pull one of the wheel chocks when he was moving it and crushed it, found that after arriving home to unhook. Very disappointed in Half-assed Hector and his business. Never again! Go somewhere else!
