This place is incredible! Food is SOOOOO good, we were blown away. The owner is so nice, highly recommend this place if you're looking for good, healthy food. Yes, the wait time is a little bit longer than a typical quick-eats cafe, but a) good food takes time to prepare, and b) they literally have a sign in the cafe indicating their prep time takes a little longer, so the one-star reviews on here do not do this place justice. Don't come here if you're expecting fast food in 3 min, but if you have a few min to chill and enjoy the ambiance, your taste buds and stomach will thank you. read more

I only give this place a one star for the WAIT TIME. If you have something to do, and are trying to grab a quick bite.. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. My husband and I waited 40 mins to receive 1/2 items we ordered. An açaí bowl took 40mins to make. They don't have water readily available, which means you have to wait for someone to acknowledge you and give you water. Very weird. Everyone just looks at each other wondering why it takes so long to receive their food. The best thing they make is the açaí bowl. Take a hint, pre make a couple bowls because making 3-4 at the same time is obviously VERY HARD to do. Also it takes multiple people to make one bowl. This new juice bar is located where the planet fitness center is on powerline just north of McNabb in pompano. Such a great little place with a decent selection of juices and other items. I tried one of their smoothies and their vegan sandwich and love the both of them. They are relatively new so I'm not sure if they will be adding more to the menu however after a Work out this is a great treat to call you down or fuel you back up if you need that. read more

Really good açaí and very different base from others I have had. It is less "tropical" and more creamy like a frozen yogurt because they use a soft serve machine over a blender. The main issue was just the toppings. I got a large. Although I got the honey and coconut shavings on the side, the fruit was definitely lacking. Every other place I have gone gives 1/2 a banana and this place was 1/4. I am not even quite sure if I got one whole strawberry??? And the 5-10 blueberries?? Felt a little skimpy for the same size bowls as other places that give a generous amount of fruit. Same with the Cacao bowl my boyfriend got, not much toppings. They were rich in texture, and their homemade almond butter will be something I dream about. The staff were so friendly and patient, and accommodated all the alterations I made to my bowl. Since I never have been here before she explained everything to me and how everything works and cleans out your system. For smoothies I got the "heaven on earth " it comes with bananas, dates, almonds, coconut palm, organic homemade almond milk no ice. They do not put ice in anything it's all pure fruit! Where do I even start? The inconsistency of this place is beyond me. I've been coming here for 2+ years (before the management changed) and it is like day and night. When I first started coming here the food was amazing, the service was spectacular, and it was overall an amazing place. The management was impeccable. You could tell Susie really passionate and cared about her business and it really reflected in the manner that Utopia was being conducted. After management changed, I honestly only order from this place because it's convenient and close by. I understand that a management change can take time for a restaurant to start running smoothly again, and I have been patient but my experience with this place has been steadily declining. Just when new staff are beginning to improve, it changes, and new employment comes in. Since new employees are in training, the service declines once again. It's like a cycle. We've spoken to the new manager Kim several times about instances that occurred in the restaurant which she has been understanding about, but she gets really defensive. She insists that everything is running smoothly (she believes that customers are being taken care of) and often invalidates my negative experiences. Nadia was an employee of Utopia that I really appreciated because of her understanding and great customer service but she no longer works there either. One of the items that's on their daily menu is their pizzas which according to the woman I spoke to on the phone is no longer part of the daily menu but is only available when the chef is there to make it (Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays and only makes 2 pizzas at a time) If the chef is only there 3 days out of the week, maybe he should be prepping more than 2 pizzas a day or maybe other employees should also learn to make these items so they can be available for customers. Anyways, I called today (Wednesday) to place my order for a pizza and they said even though the chef is there today, it can't be made. If there are items that are no longer available, it should be taken off the menu or just updated so there's no confusion. Overall, I enjoyed my time at this place but I don't see it improving any time in the near future. read more
