I appreciated their honesty and them going above and beyond. The plastic undercarriage under my car was dragging, catching on things, and threatening to pull off my front bumper. I took it to Uzi's, and they initially thought there was damage under the plastic cover and the repairs would be expensive. When they did a more detailed inspection, they let me know there actually wasn't much damage. Got a quote and date set up to get my body damage fix on my car. On their website their hours are listed 7:30-5pm. I called a week in advance to also confirm the quote and date. Told the man over the phone ill drop off the car after work around 3. Well when that time came I rushed out of work to take the car to the shop got there at 3pm sharp and the shop is closed. No one around or to answer the phone. Huge time wasted. Im back at square one looking for someone to do some simple body work. If you value your time don't come here. read more

Great full-service auto mechanic. I first found Uzi's looking for some body work to be done on my Toyota after I had scraped the door on a parking garage pole. Every other shop I went to said that they would have to replace the entire panel, which would have cost me a fortune. Not the guys at Uzi's Autohaus! They took one look, and after hearing my concern about how the panel might need to be replaced, said "we can do it." They saved me a fortune and did great work. I have been coming back to Uzi's for all of my car needs ever since. As a woman, I have often experienced "car people" talking down to me and refusing to explain the reasoning behind their recommendations. In contrast, the gentlemen at Uzi's take the time to answer all of my questions honestly and respectfully. As a frequent client they go the extra mile to accommodate me and my busy schedule as well. I had gone to the dealership with my car after someone hung on my passenger side door and the door was out of alignment. The dealership quoted me over $700 to fix it. I went to 5 other places.... the lowest quote I received was $450. Someone recommended Uzi's, and as a last resort I tried to see what they said. The guy had his technician look at it and it was fixed within minutes with some door balancing gadget. Also, they wouldn't accept money saying it was nothing to fix basically. Talk about an honest shop!!! Very thankful to them as this was terrible timing to have extra money to spend. I just had 2 areas on my car fixed and was very pleased by the results of the work and also the great customer service. My car got hit in a parking lot and the damage was pretty bad, and now you cant even tell it happened. Uzi's got me right in and the rate was very affordable, the work excellent. My car was left clean inside unlike other places I have gone in the past. I was serviced by both Scott and Gal, and both guys were very nice and honest. When I first came for a quote, Gal came out to give me the numbers and at the time I told him the reason why I was in town was for a family medical emergency. That was over a month ago. I finally got around to bringing the car in this week and today when I picked the up my car, Gal asks about my medical situation. I was blown away by the fact he remembered that. The five star rating is for (1) price - both estimates were competitive as I knew from a prior experience what it should have cost; (2) service - they could not have been friendlier or more efficient; and (3) honesty - it would have been so easy to tell me that I needed to repair the bumper to get the new taillight into place. Details below of each point below. I backed into a parking garage pillar and cracked my taillight and bumper. I swung by Uzi's (based on yelp reviews) and asked for an estimate to (1) replace just the light (if possible); and (2) repair both bumper and light (if not possible to replace just the taillight). Gal (pronounced "Gull") was super warm and friendly and (without judgment) gave me quotes for both options, noting that he would happily replace just the taillight, but it was possible the way the bumper broke might prevent the new light from snapping into place (in which case I would need to fix both). If I had to repair bumper and light, I would have to drop the car off for several days; whereas, replacing the light was a 10 minute job. I made an appointment for a few weeks later when I would be out of town for work and not need my car. After I left, I realized that maybe they would be willing to try to replace just the light first, and, if that didn't work, allow me to come back in a few weeks to leave the car for the days needed to do the big repair. So I emailed Gal. He responded within minutes, confirmed that I could do that at no extra expense, and told me to give him a day to get the new taillight and then swing by whenever it was convenient or me. A few days later, I stopped in mid-morning. Another gentleman helped me who was just as nice as Gal. Within 10 minutes, they replaced the taillight. These guys are wonderful. I contacted this place ahead of time to see how much it would cost to repair a scratch on my rear bumper. Gal answered me within the day, and offered to apply some thinners to get rid of it, and would not charge me for it. If the thinner did not remove the scratch, she would then give me a quote. I'm thrilled with the great service and the extremely reasonable prices I recently received at Uzi's. My bumper had got caught on a piece of rebar protruding from a curb stop and got pulled halfway off. I received a $2,500.+ estimate from another place that told me my bumper couldn't be remounted. Recommendations from my neighbors on Nextdoor led me to try Uzi's Autohaus, and I'm so glad I did! Gal Ozeri was wonderful! He told me to get some coffee and have a seat while his mechanic put in back on. He said they run into this all the time and they normally just re-install free of charge. In my case, after closer inspection by his mechanic, a Mercedes replacement clip kit was needed in addition to pulling off the entire bumper to re-install several internal pieces that were now in my back seat. I had already learned from the previous estimate that a clip kit for my car run about $100. He seemed sincerely apologetic to have to charge me at all for putting it back on. He also arranged for me to get a lift to work by Scott. When I came to pick it up in the afternoon, it looked as good as new and the total bill came to only $187.00. I strongly recommend that you do not trust this business with your automobile. I called Uzi's and asked whether they had time to diagnose an issue with my Range Rover - Scott said they were busy but could take the car and diagnose it the next day. This was on 7/5; the fiasco was just beginning. They did not diagnose it the next day - after I followed up, they said it'd be ~$1600 to fix. I authorized the repairs the morning of 7/8 and they said the car would be ready the following Tuesday (7/12) but that it could slip to Wednesday because they were busy. I said that was fine as I would be traveling and that I could pick the car up a week later on 7/18. Scott agreed and promised it'd be ready by 7/18. I hear nothing for the next week and call on 7/18 to confirm pickup. I am then informed that the car is not ready and no work has been done on it at all. Other jobs took priority (of course, not even a 5 min phone call over the past week had been made). Then Uzi's says that maybe the car can get fixed by Thursday (7/20) but who really knows. I need the car at this point so say I'm going to come pick it up and take it elsewhere. I do that - but guess what? The battery cover is unattached, the airbag warning light is on (among other warning lights), and the car won't start now. Have to get it towed to the dealership. Uzi's negligently damaged (or intentionally sabotaged) my car after a series of missed deadlines and failed promises. Save yourself the trouble from dealing with this disreputable business. read more

I had made a deal with Uzi himself regarding the painting of a restoration project when his son stepped in a short time later and informed me (quite rudely) that Uzi made the commitment without his approval and he would not be honoring it. Beware. These guys are nice to your face, but they are extremely dishonest. If they don't have the skill set to fix your car properly, they'll give it a shot and send you packing. I had the misfortune of being T-boned in a 3-month-old car. They said it was fixed a few weeks later, but I could tell something wasn't right because I already needed new tires soon after. I took it to a tire place where I was told that the frame was bent and there was no point replacing the tires. I brought my car back to Uzi's, and one of their guys told me that I was a silly girl and to stop driving so fast. Two years and eight tires later, at the end of my rope, I came back. They agreed that the frame was indeed not properly repaired, as this "silly girl" had informed them years prior. They claim it's really fixed now, but, though their mechanics admitted fault the owner refused to reimburse me for the damage caused by their negligence. Stay away!! read more

They were nice and got my oil changed for much less than a dealership would have charged. I thought I was happy and had found a place to have my car serviced. However, I began to notice oil spots on my driveway where none had been before. I had my neighbor take a look and he said that the oil plug and gasket were not replaced during the oil change as per normal. This caused the leak which he fixed with $4.00 worth of parts. Too bad Uzi's made the choice to cut their expenses by such a small amount causing me so much inconvenience and harm to my new driveway. Although it is not much money it speaks to a certain distrust I now have with Uzi's making it very unlikely I will take my car there again. read more

I am really pleased with these guys. I brought in a vehicle that had a list of items that we needed to get squared away before a family road trip. Prices were reasonable so we let them do a bunch of items. Everything except one went as planned. The one that didn't go as planned is why I've come to respect and trust Uzi's. Netting it out, I had a cosmetic annoyance - a slide-out cup holder - had been broken because one of my boys stood on it. Not intended usage... As the Uzi's team dug in, the replacement was much more involved than it appeared at first diagnosis. They did their best to try a workaround. I paid our bill and went on our way. Within a few days, the workaround didn't stick. (Oh, by the way, it was my decision not to spend the money to fix it the right way...). I contacted Gal Ozeri and I could not have been more pleased on how he worked with me. We agreed to take a credit on future work on another vehicle. No sweat. No arguments. When I finally brought my other vehicle in, the work I needed done was about $350. My credit had been around $300. I was ready to pay, and he said "Let's go ahead and call this even..." No kidding!!! It's not like I've been a lifelong customer. We had just started using Uzi's... My work had been great - but I've got to tell you, I've gotten service that made me feel like I was back in the days when deals were made on a handshake. read more

Been using these guys for years. They have extremely component body men and mechanics and have been able to handle everything I've thrown at them. Use them for my trucks (domestic - Diesel and gas) and my cars (Lexus and other Toyota products), I trust these guys and they do things right. Somebody hit my car from back but the damage was small and just needed repining. I was so worried that whether the body shop can matched the color of my car, which was a brand new BMW. I searched through yelp and found a body shop with very high stars even thought it was far from me. But the person who hit my car insisted to get a second quote and he referred Uzi's. Initially I was skeptical because of few negative reviews but ultimately decided it a chance. I was so impressed by the customer service and the owner nicely explained the process and gave us a fair quote.
