All of his training is done with care and commands. No tugging or rough treatment to get the dog to obey. In a couple of at home classes our dog surpassed all of our expectations. Also Rolan was gracious enough to give us tips and tricks to teach our dog Harry new commands and tricks by ourselves which is great for continued training at home. Service was excellent. Always punctual. Always kind. Our dog sits, stays, walks next to use, great off leash, great with our kids (even the 2yr old), recall is on point, fetches, rolls over, door behavior is exceptional. Now all I have to do is train him to fetch me a beer!!! You won't regret hiring Rolan to train your dog. You'll love him and most importantly your dog will love him.

After six months of searching and speaking to trainers across multiple states and Canada, I found them through a TikTok video. When I called, Taryn's incredible customer service, patience, and empathy made the process so much easier. She answered all my questions and worked with me on payments to create the best package for Luna. Before drop-off, I met Wil during an unplanned tour, and his honesty and confidence reassured me I was making the right choice. Wil went above and beyond during Luna's training. Knowing I was anxious, he modified the standard report cards to include videos with voiceovers explaining her progress and the reasoning behind each exercise. This thoughtful gesture made me feel connected to the process and will help me reinforce her training at home. Before the program, Luna was reactive--not aggressive but overly excitable. After three weeks, she's still her fun, wacky self, but now she listens, follows commands, and stays calm around other dogs. While there's still work to do, her foundation is strong, and I'm confident moving forward. Luna is now a service dog in training, and Applause Your Paws laid the groundwork to make that possible. I'm already planning to send her back this summer because they're amazing at what they do. I'm so grateful to Wil, Taryn, and the entire team for their care and dedication!

I would strongly advise anyone considering AYP Training to think twice before sending their dog…read morethere. After having our dog for 24 days, it became very clear there was a complete lack of communication, professionalism, and understanding of our living situation. We live in a high-rise condo, yet somehow they spent weeks training our dog to go outside in a backyard setting -- something that does not apply to our home at all. How this was never clarified during nearly a month of training is beyond concerning. What's even more upsetting is that our dog came back terrified of car rides, which was never an issue before. As owners, that is heartbreaking to witness. After reviewing the videos and conditions of the trainer's home, we were honestly shocked. The house appeared trashed, chaotic, and nowhere near the professional environment we were promised when paying for "professional" dog training services. Nothing about this experience reflected the level of care, structure, or quality that was advertised. We invested a significant amount of money trusting this company with our dog, and the results were disappointing from start to finish. Between the misrepresentation, poor communication, and lack of professionalism, this experience felt extremely misleading. Save your money and do your research before trusting this company with your pet.

Although I live over an hour away , I made the sacrifice because I knew that my dog was in good hands and I have never looked back . PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRELY: They are ABUSIVE to animals,…read moreincredibly negligent, and lack the necessary wherewithal to run a dog training company. BEWARE, these are NOT real dog trainers. They were kennel workers that were promoted, by the owner Laura because she was desperate for the income. My dog had been coming here for several months and was "trained" with them for a week as what they call a refresher to ensure he is a good fit. They always praise him, send me pics and videos of how amazing he is. I was in Europe on vacation, and Laura Cresto sends me a text message letting me know that they can't handle my dog and despite that he is showing aggression they'll watch him until I'm scheduled to get back a week later. Naturally, I asked for proof of videos as they have cameras recording in every single room and keep said recordings for 30 days. She wouldn't send me any videos, and then claimed that I had to be there the next day to pick up my dog because they couldn't handle him anymore. It's funny how she went from "we can manage to keep him for a week" to "pick him up tomorrow morning" after I asked for proof within hours. She basically said you have to come get your dog by tomorrow morning or else, the flight time alone was roughly 10 hours and then add a connection. Luckily I had the means to do so, but who is paying for my new flight, loss of costs on my other flights and all the hotel accommodations that were already paid for? There was zero compassion for what I was going thru despite that my dog was in her care. Still, I kept pressing her about providing me proof which she finally sends that was recorded from a cell phone, not her cameras. In the video you can CLEARLY see that the person is NOT a trainer and does not know how to handle my dog. This person has only been working there for a month with zero experience in real dog training prior to coming on board with K9 Off Leash. I FOUND A SCAB ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF HIS FACE with a huge bulge around it, which tells me he's been struck. Maybe he's acting defensive because someone physically struck him with an object? He doesn't play with other dogs there because of his repaired ACL's and Laura confirmed he hadn't. She initially stated his behavior was like this from the moment I dropped him off a week prior. I told her this was a grotesque understatement of the level of irresponsibility it is to not have informed me Immediately. She said, "I didn't want to bother you because we specialize in this field of dogs and aggression." Then when I pointed it out via text, she back peddles and states that the behavior started only a day prior. She claimed it was so bad that they had to take him out in a full bite suit, yet when I asked her for the videos of proof she couldn't furnish them. Her words "Thank God we have this gear otherwise we wouldn't be able to handle your dog at all." They do not currently own a bite suit of any kind. When I went to pick up my dog, I recorded the entire interraction between myself, Sierra, the new employee(I don't know his name) and their new head trainer who just stood in the background observing and recording. Sierra is a 24 year old office manager. The new employee who started only a month ago actually put his hands on me when I went to retrieve my dog and stood in front of his kennel/room to avoid me from getting him because I refused to pay, and brought out a leash to take him out himself. You claim he is so aggressive that you have to wear a bite suit to take him out, yet you are trying to take him out while I am standing there after I have told them again and it is known that he is protective of me.You're more concerned with keeping my dog to get paid, then releasing him back into my custody despite how aggressive you claim he's been? While all of this is going on, despite how upset I am and the fact that this employee is holding the door to prevent me from getting my dog after he physically put his hands on me, my dog is still wagging his tail, ears back and crying for me with ZERO aggression displayed towards anyone there. Then Sierra says, we have to call the cops. I told her please do so, or I can call them myself. Instead she calls Laura who tells her to let me go with my dog. I wonder why? They didn't give him any of his pain meds, so he was in pain the entire time there and they missed many doses of his allergy meds. He came back to me in pain, scabbed/bruised, and with hives all over. The level and layers of LIES/DECEIT, NEGLIGENCE, LACK OF DECENCY/ COMPASSION, ABUSE OF ANIMALS, COMPLETE DISREGARD AND INCOMPETENCE for an animal's well being and the way they treat their owners is beyond disturbing. This keeps happening since Allen Castillo, the original owner and real dog trainer left back in April. There isn't enough space to provide all of the details in this review, but feel free to email me reviewsonly1984@gmail.com if something similar happened to you and I will gladly reply.

The house has a large backyard where you can see there's space for the dogs to run and play. Anthony takes daily pictures of the dogs and sends them over so we can see the group of dogs and what they are up to. He has a magic power (for real) because he manages to keep all these dogs sitting while taking pics lol. Our dog feels like he's at home there since we take his bed, leash, and food. Also, Anthony is very easy to reach. We would answer your call/texts right away or within mins! we heard from him through our building. It turned out that a lot of ppl use their services here so that gave us more peace of mind. We love them and are very grateful for their services a because they love our dog as much as we do.

When we picked her up, I gave her water and she immediately started drinking it desperately. She didn't even greet us. She was more focused on drinking water than on seeing us, which says a lot about how thirsty she was. That behavior is not normal for her. Runa is not a dog that pants excessively unless she has been running a lot or is extremely tired. She almost never pants, not even when she's happy. That's why it really stood out to me that in every photo I received during her stay, she was constantly panting. At first glance, the dogs may appear "happy," but in reality they seem thirsty. She was there for only 5 days and still came back thinner and extremely thirsty. I can't imagine how uncomfortable that must have been for her , or how other dogs may be feeling if they are not being given proper access to water. I'm writing this with sadness, but also with the hope that this feedback leads to better care and attention to the well-being of the animals left at this place.
