I will never return to this salon.
I spent about $88 on my nails, and within two days one of them chipped. The fact that I even had to come back because of a problem with a service I had just paid for was frustrating enough. Instead of feeling like my concerns mattered, I was made to feel like I was the problem.
After the repair, one nail was a different shade than the rest. When I politely explained that the color did not match, I was not asking for anything unreasonable. I simply wanted someone to look at it and help me find a solution. I have an important event tomorrow, and I explained that I did not want to show up with one nail that was a noticeably different color than all the others.
I was told the color would "settle" in two or three days. Unfortunately, that does not help when my event is tomorrow. I explained that to them, but no one seemed to care or even acknowledge my concern.
The woman who appeared to be the owner or manager spoke to me aggressively and was very unprofessional. Every time I tried to explain my situation, she talked over me instead of listening. She repeatedly told me she had clients waiting for her, even though I was also a paying customer who had returned because of a problem with the service I received. She seemed more interested in defending the salon than understanding what I was trying to explain.
I felt belittled and embarrassed in front of the other customers. Instead of treating me with respect and trying to resolve the issue, I was made to feel as though I was causing a problem. I was never given the opportunity to fully explain my concerns because I was constantly interrupted.
In my opinion, the right solution would have been to remove the polish and repaint all of my nails so they matched. Instead, I was left with mismatched nails for an event that is important to me.
What disappointed me most was not that a nail chipped. Mistakes happen. It was the complete lack of customer service. No one apologized for the chipped nail, the inconvenience, or the way I was treated. I left feeling frustrated, unheard, disrespected, and embarrassed.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this salon. If you value customer service, professionalism, and being treated with respect when something goes wrong, I would encourage you to choose another salon. read more
