You order via a iPad, get a text confirmation of your order, and then a text notification when it's ready. The system is definitely saves you from waiting and allows you to check out other places for food. We got 3 kids sundaes. We were happy with them, but we wished for a slight upgrade. Maybe different flavored ice creams, not just flavored syrups on vanilla ice cream. Still would get again though! read more

Their menu has a good selection of different toppings to go with your churros (regular churro, bite size churros, or sundae churros). We got the drizzled churro (drizzle was cajeta). It was delicious! The outside was nice and crispy, and the inside was soft. It was seasoned well. In terms of price, I'd say it was a tad bit pricey for a regular drizzled churro. Also, I wish they did have some dairy free ice cream options for the sundae churros (whether it's lactose free ice cream or even coconut ice cream). I ordered my food and the guy told me it would take 10-15 minutes. It took over THIRTY minutes. I literally saw someone else order about five minutes after me and STILL get his order about 10 minutes before me. I ordered at about 8:35, they close at 9 and yet I didn't get my food until 9:08. Reno Public Market (the building in which V's Churro Bar is) literally closes at 9 on Sundays. They've shut off the light while I'm still here waiting for my food. Not sure if the management changed but they have an underage boy working the front who is great and polite but is unable to speak of any matters such as wait time and status. Instead you speak to this old woman mange/ owner (Patricia) who immediately has an attitude. My partner and I ordered churro bites, THE SYSTEM DID NOT ASK US FOR A NAME OR NUMBER. We then paid and proceeded to sit directly in front of the store front. There were maybe 3 more customers over the course of 30 minutes. We stayed right in the front the entire time. After the 35 minute mark I went up and politely asked how much longer, the boy mentioned I must speak the back so I said absolutely. Patricia came up to the front and immediately got defensive saying there was no name or number left so they have been sitting forever. Again, I was directly in front, no one called out the order, or thought to ask if we ordered, despite being DIRECTLY in front. During the conversation/ argument, the little boy ended up saying it was the systems fault and it truly did not ask us in an attempt to defend us because she was being very hostile. Patricia continued to be rude and I finally asked if I could please have my food and it's fine that they were old, dried out, and wrong. Moral of the story, we are locals and have been here a couple times and recommend this to people because they are usually good. It's sad that the owner/ manager has ruined this place by being rude, defensive, and makes you feel like a burden. There's better places to go in the area simply for the service. read more

I discovered V's Churro Bar when a saw a friend post a picture on Facebook. It looked so colorful and delicious, that I had to try it for myself. MY GOODNESS, WHERE HAS THIS PLACE BEEN ALL MY LIFE!? The churros were made hot and fresh with just the right amount of cinnamon sugar. The staff were also very sweet (no pun intended) and friendly. I ordered the Wonder Pebbles Signature Sundae, and it was amazing. They were very generous with the Fruity Pebbles and strawberry drizzle. I'm absolutely going back to try the Oreo and Nutella Churro Sundaes as well. At the time of this review it was CASH ONLY, so make sure you stop by an ATM beforehand. Because they're a food truck, you'll need to follow them on social media to know where the pop up locations are.
