I really wanted to love this experience, I've been wanting to come here for a long time. We didn't get to sit on the patio because it was chilly, but it's just as cute as I thought it would be. The interior was pretty, simple and spa like. The staff were all very nice, our server was very sweet, the drinks were great. We started with the stuffed jalapenos, jasmine milk tea and the vietnamese coffee. They were both so good. We had high hopes after this great start. But the sushi... just didn't hit for us. The nigiri was so fishy, the rice was inconsistently cooked, the middle of Stacy's Mom had very little flavor. The Salmon Lover Roll was actually really good, but it was the exception unfortunately. We will for sure come back, but we'll come back for stuffed jalapenos and pho or noodles. Someone passed by with pho at one point, the bowl was giant and it smelled SOO good. Four stars because they aren't always consistent with their flavors. Their shaken beef is my favorite dish though and in the winter we order their pho which is always super flavorful. We haven't had much luck on their sushi, last time we ordered the tuna roll it was very fishy and we didn't finish it. Service has always been fairly quick and their servers are nice. I would give 5 stars, only reason it's 4 is consistency. When it's good, it's incredible. I've never had an actual bad meal there, but I have had some which were not up to the typical standard of the restaurant. I would highly recommend the curry beef deluxe pho with all the meats. Very high quality cuts, thinly sliced (even the tripe is not chewy at all) and the curry broth is more interesting than regular pho. Also, anything with their grilled pork (vermicelli, rice, etc) is typically excellent, charred with lots of spices. Once in a while they serve it a bit overcooked (there's that consistency thing again.) I've also tried a few appetizers like shrimp springrolls, Thai side salad, dumplings, etc and all were fine. Desserts and smoothies are delicious too! I have never ordered sushi here. It's a Vietnamese place first and foremost, and I feel they only serve sushi to give people more options but this is not their specialty. read more

We tried V's house for the first time and will definitely be back. There are so many dishes we want to try. My husband and the stir fry with flat noodles and added chicken as the protein. We both thought the flavor was DELICIOUS. It's a good portion size and fairly prided. The only critique is the chicken was a bit dry and overcooked. We also had the buffalo wings and they were ok. I visited the V's House for first time with my roommate yesterday. It was clean, open, upscale. I liked the environment of the place. We were sat right away. The service was great and friendly. I ordered the spicy tuna roll and brisket pho. My roommate ordered the California roll and meatballs pho. We received our pho before the rolls. The pho were delicious. The broth was good. The rolls were not so good and they only gave us soy sauce. They did not give any wasabi or pickle ginger with the rolls. I would come back for the pho but not for the sushi. read more

I've had V's House on the radar for some time now and have been intending to visit but for some unknown reason had never pulled the trigger until yesterday. My bad! I haveta say, in my opinion, this is a rather peculiar location for a classy and upscale restaurant. But here it is. And lemme tell y'all, it shines in this local. The upscale, modern interior is attractive and comfortably welcoming. V's boasts a variety of tables, booths, and high-tops with an open kitchen and attractive bar... the store has it all! Very, very enjoyable atmosphere and ambiance. We were cordially greeted and seated, and then perfectly attended to by our server, Amy. We opted for a bottle of Duckhorn Sauvignon Blanc from the very adequate and reasonably priced wine list. V's offers several custom house fashioned cocktails and a full bar. We rarely pass up coconut shrimp when offered and today was no exception. These are large, perfectly breaded and fried shrimp accompanied by a tasty sweet and spicy dipping sauce. We also rarely pass up a ceviche when on the menu. If I've ever seen a ceviche on an Asian restaurant menu I don't recall it. So, of course, this was a must try also, and it did not disappoint. Ample dices of shimmering bright red tuna, salmon, and Hamachi in a spicy Asian inspired sauce that absolutely sings. This is so different and so incredibly delish. You have got to give this a try. We had our sights set on a couple of entrees but as my wife had never had pho before I wanted her to try it as I knew she would be a fan. So we ordered a small bowl of the Beef Deluxe Pho. Small. Hahahaha. Between the two of us we finished maybe a third of the "small" bowl. The remainder came home and made lunch for the two of us the next day! It is so good. The entrees we had in mind will have to wait until another visit. We are so grateful to have made the discovery of this great restaurant. It was her post hip replacement surgery physical therapy at a nearby clinic that led us here yesterday. And here's the beauty part, she has therapy twice a week for the next several weeks. 3.5 stars - it was in a bit of a wierd spot, didn't look like much from the outside but nice on the inside. Staff was friendly, we sat at the bar for dinner, really fast service. Spring rolls with the peanut sauce were great! My pho was good, I prefer a little more anise flavoring or maybe more depth of flavor is a better way to say it but I would still get it again. First of all, I could not possible say enough good things about the interiors of this restaurant. The decor is on point and all of the live potted plants throughout make you feel like you are sitting outside in a lovely little oasis. Absolutely lovely and refreshing. We ordered food to take away and I was just simply blown away by the deliciousness and authenticity of the items. The Vietnamese Shrimp Salad (Goi Ga Tom) was devoured immediately. It had tons of shrimp and chicken tossed with cabbage, onion, cilantro, lotus root and onions in a fish sauce vinaigrette; topped with peanuts and fried onions and served with sesame rice crackers. Those sesame rick crackers were obviously homemade and were very handy to tear apart and scoop up every morsel of the delicous and FRESH salad. This will definitely satisfy your salad craving. We also ordered two soups: Bun Bo Hue with beef shank, pork shoulder, brisket, served with thick rice noodles in spicy lemongrass beef broth; with purple and white cabbage on the side. My husband ordered the Vegetable Pho with broccoli, carrots, bok choy and Shiitake mushrooms served in vegetable broth. Our soups were hot, delicious and soothing. Perfect for the evening before a big site walk the next day. We ordered our take away order in the coffee shop and the lady who took our order was very sweet and kind. Big fan of Pho V, so decided to try their newer, more modern concept. Overall, it wasn't as good as the original, and I feel like you get less and pay more, but I still enjoyed it. Service was great, food came out quickly and was fresh, and everything tasted good. They offer a wide variety of items across the menu, including their in-house boba which is some of the best served within a restaurant. We dropped in on a Friday night around 6pm and were seated right away. The space is much more modern and aesthetic than the older original, and the ambiance is cozy. Our server was easygoing and efficient. FOOD RATINGS: - Chicken avocado spring rolls (4/5): You get 2 cut in half, for 4 pieces total. The portion of fried to the imitation crab is pretty decent. The service was a little trash, the waitress barely interacted and wasn't around, I waited for a bit to get utensil and ended up getting it myself at their station. The bites are not too big for the mouth. My kid ordered the salmon roll and I thought it was even better than the spider roll yet so simple. My husband ordered the stone bowl it was so impressive full of flavor. We did order drinks, my partner ordered a mimosa and I ordered the mojito. He got his drink first, and it did take quite some time for my drink to arrive, to the point my partners food had already arrived.
