There are a few Dr Sharma's but none like Dr "V"! For, the past several years (2023-5) I have been treated by Dr "V" and I must say he has done a very good job! Plus, his entire staff exemplifies his attitude always jovial and pleasant! But most of all I can see much better. The older pair of eyes (75+ years) needed some repair and Dr Vishal "V" Sharma did a great job! I would recommend his services any place any time to anyone! My visit was very nice and pleasant. I met with nurse practitioner Nikova Bispham. She was very professional and she listened to my concerns. I didn't feel rushed thru my visit and I didn't feel as if what I had to say didn't matter. I'm so glad I was referred to this office. I haven't even had a chance to attend an appointment. The front desk was rude and disorganized in scheduling. Cancelled my appointment the day of due to their own disorganization. I will be rescheduling with a different doctor, because if I can't communicate successfully with the receptionist, the doctor certainly cannot be much better. Dr. Sharma is the WORST doctor I have ever seen. She is impatient, lacks empathy and when I explained my symptoms she tried to gaslight me into thinking I was crazy. I needed a new neurologist because I'm new to the area and she basically said all of my previous doctors didn't know what they were doing in regards to treating me and presented herself as a savior. I wouldn't recommend her to ANYONE. Please take caution and find a neurologist that actually knows what they're talking about and cares about their patients. read more

I have received care at Dr. Vandana Sharma's office for 4 months now. I recently got discharged from her office. I received excellent care from nurse Nikova Bispham the whole time I was their patient. She is an excellent nurse and very professional. Their neurological practice is 100% recommended by me because when I first contacted them I had trouble sleeping, memory issues, and suffered from a lot of back and neck pain- 4 months later I am sleeping great, my memory is better for the strategies Nikova recommended for me, and my pain is a lot less now because of the TENS machine I was recommended by her. This is by far the worst Dr I have had the pleasure of making an appointment with. I have good insurance with a low deductible. I got a call from her receptionist, literally 15 minutes before my appointment to tell me that I had to pay a $300 deductible for an EMG test ordered by another physician to rule out Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. No self-respecting, caring doctor would demand this payment upfront and the customary rule is to just bill the patient's insurance and collect the copay. Instead, Dr. V Sharma, being a money hungry person decided that she would waste my time and have her staff call me 15 minutes ahead of time to demand payment. Why should I see a doctor and entrust my health if their primary motivation is to make money and not treat my condition. I guess the poor doctor is starving for money or patients or just downright cruel. She needs to reevaluate her office policies and be more patient centered, which she is not. I scheduled an appointment with her for my grandmother and cancelled it immediately. Would you entrust your health with a greedy person like this? No! Do not even bother. read more

My wife and I were referred to Dr. Sharma by our orthopedic doctor for neurological treatment after a car accident. Everything about our treatment with Dr. Sharma and her excellent staff was perfect. Her staff found an appointment time right after we first called, even though it was during the Christmas holiday season. We never were kept waiting for more than a few minutes when we had our appointment. When my wife had a headache during and after a plane ride, we called Dr. Sharma and she called back to treat my wife over the phone within an hour of us first calling. Her staff were always pleasant and efficient and honestly cared about how we were feeling. Her advise was top notch and aided in our recovery. Dr. Sharma and her staff are the best! read more

I do not know where to start but I was referred to dr sharma by my general practitioner dr rao and I was referred for some health issues I had due to a car accident this dr sharma was plain rude and arrogant I found out later through another dr that I had concussion from that car accident when from beginning I complained about headache and fainted couple times she basically ignored all my symptoms including sleep apnea. The billing person Patricia was rude and arrogant could not let me get a word in and anytime I would ask about an explanation of bill she would turn around and lecture me about ur insurance did not cover this or that made me lose my patience she does not speak very clear English and it just caused me to call my insurance and have them explain my benefits to them and when I call back instead of how can I help u she just said what do want me to do!!! Well as a patient I felt a little offended of her tone and the ignorance she had not even a simple Apology for mis billing me she just said "I talk to dr sharma about it u balance is 0" and hung up she wasted three hours of my time trying to explain myself when all she needed to do was check the system to see if I met my deductible. Worst billing person I do not recommend this neurologist to anyone. It was extremely rude and unprofessional of her billing person Patricia to just hang up on me dr sharma herself was rude not to even acknowledge her staff arrogance. BEWARE! I was referred to Dr. Sharma by an Ambulance chasing attorney after receiving electrical shock from a negligent incident with an ungrounded dishwasher installed in my apartment Feb of 2013. She prescribed me 2 medications that I took for near 3 months and had been suffering deterioration like never before. I had no serious medical problems before the accident. I was told it was effects of the accident. NO IT WASN'T! I was l rushed to the hospital and spent a week there with Serotonin syndrome because of the prescriptions she had prescribed together which should NEVER, NEVER be prescribed together. Her response was "I always prescribe them together and none else has complained. WHAT !@!#$%^&!? I was in the stroke unit for the later half of my week inpatient visit to the hospital (with no insurance) and ended up on insulin until my body adjusted from what she had described and I worked its way out of my system. NO APOLOGY from "Sharma the slaughterer" or her office staff when confronted! My life POST SHARMA has never quit been the same. Life is very difficult now. Her staff was rude, chaotic and non-responsive to this serious life threatening situation. As I called the office and was deterioration I was told to keep taking the combined medicines that were causing the problem. Now... (MAY 2016) I am received a knock at the door and am being sued for over $900 for 2 office visits! Can not sue her back... Statute of Limitations for patients is 2 years although doctors can sue you for 3 years. Nice BROKEN system. Who is going to pay my $22,000 plus hospitalization I still owe because of her malpractice and malfeasance? Certainly not Sharma the Slaughter. I was too sick to work and had no insurance. Please heed the advice!!! Dr. Sharma does not know the drugs she prescribes together. It could have been fatal. Looked them up after I left the hospital and they are NEVER to be taken together warnings from every government FDA site, private, drug and medical group out there!!! NEVER! not maybe! NEVER! "Dr. Sharma the slaughter" has no ethics as in the oath she took! She should be defrocked of her medical license and sent back to where she came from. Hope no one else has fallen victim. Now I have to pay the butcher and the hospital to a combined tune of $23,000 +. I am having difficulty getting medical records from her and the hospital. Things seemed to magically disappear. Hmmmmmmmmm. We already have nothing and now she gets to live comfortable on my dime and medical deterioration due to her care! Why is there never justice for the victims of malpractice? Doctors wait it out and then sue. Attorneys and doctors basically rape you and know one will help unless they are going to make millions.
