They wouldn't come off for 2 months. Not even after soaking in acetone! Nothing was working. When they finally do they are scarred and brittle. He used super glue instead of nail glue. I've been getting acrylics for years and they've never looked like this, afterwards. Please save yourself the trouble! There's a reason they're on the cheaper side. read more

I received a voicemail from this salon and I'm truly disappointed in their actions. I was told "we cannot do a good job for you so maybe you can find another salon that will do a good job for you". I was there 1 single time which was my first time. I had a great conversation with the tech and I thought she did a great job. She took her time and was very patient. I even told my fiancé and mother that she did a great job and I'm so happy that I found this place. (Because I just moved to this neighborhood). However, I did feel that some of the toe nails were a bit too long so I asked her to file them more. And, I just wanted to look at the shape overall because my toes are chubby and the nails on my big toes grow differently from each other. So I always like to make sure they look "almost the same". (P.S. the view is different from when you're looking at your feet vs. when they are looking at your feet. Different angles. You can see it differently). So I asked. I even told her that I've had bad experiences in other salons and that I really like this place. Therefore, the voicemail came out of no where and left me feeling extremely crappy about myself and just plain sad. I know I didn't do anything wrong. I was very nice about it and like I said, we had great conversation. I had a great time and thought she was very professional. Not for 1 second did I think anything was wrong. I even made another "next" appointment. What I do think, is that asking to fix something was taken the wrong way. Even though as a customer I have every right. If I see something is crooked or too long, I will ask for it to be fixed... which is a normal thing to do. There was no negative energy or negative reasoning behind it. Maybe a language barrier? Maybe she thought something different than what it was? I don't know. Clearly these people are a bit sensitive as you cannot ask them to fix anything without them calling you and asking you not to come back. Needless to say, I was left dumbfounded. read more

They did a horrible job.So I tried to all again to make another appointment.The man that answers then phone there is very very nasty. I asked if there was any way I can make an appointment for Friday or Saturday or Sunday any week. Could be a month from now or more. He said they're all booked up every Saturday and Sunday no one could do my nails on any of those days .Saturday or Sunday .It isver,y close to my house but I will have to go elsewhere. Last week I went to V-Sky for the first time and received a $25 Gel Mani. After a week and a day, this is the result. I am not pleased. I have never had a Gel Mani last shorter than my normal two-week appointment. In addition to the chipping, my cuticles have almost grown back entirely. I cannot express enough how much I absolutely love this nail salon and it's staff. I usually go to Angelina. she is so professional, down to earth, and overall amazing. She listens to anything that I want done on my nails. Angelina does excellent work with shaping and making my nails look natural and smaller than they actually are since I have big nail beds. They are super clean and give you your own nail filing set. They have infinite amounts of dip colors and gel colors. I am in and out quickly but not rushed. Not only that but if I ask for a sooner appointment if there's any cancellations she remembers to call me and remembers my schedule to better fit me in. I used to go here and liked the people and the way my manicures were done. After today, however, I will never go back. It had been awhile since I'd been here since I've been going near my workplace, but went back today since I was off from work. I have been getting powder gel manicures for over a year and so I'm very familiar with how it's done. First off, the place seemed very dirty today, not at all how I remember it. And they asked me to stick my hands in this dirty steam gel polish remover which looked like it had never been cleaned. The man doing my manicure took forever because I don't think he knew what he was doing. Then he goes to put my hands in a UV dryer which NONE of the other places I usually go to ever use for a powder gel. My dermatologist has told me never to use the UV dryers. When I told him he got really nasty and kept mumbling at me through his face mask and apparently had to take off the most recent polish/ topcoat because it was meant for the dryer. Then he had to reapply a different kind of topcoat. When I went to pay, I see a sign that they now charge a 3.75% service fee to use a credit or debit card! Never have I seen that in a nail salon. I said I hadn't been made aware of this and I had no cash on me and asked to have the fee waived. The young woman ringing me up started yelling and screaming at me and then talking to her coworkers in Korean. I said just run my card through as I had to leave for an appointment. She stood there knowing I was in a hurry and purposely took her time! And after all of the above reasons why I won't go back, the manicure was not a good one either. It is dull, not glossy like they always are. Now after 35 dollars plus the service fee, I need to put on my own topcoat!!! read more
