I was in town for work and wanted to support a local boutique studio for my yoga practice. I saw that V12 Yoga was 5 minutes away from my hotel and found an evening flow class that I could accommodate in my schedule. The studio was located on the 2nd floor of a historic-looking building, and it had its own private lot, which was a bonus. The practice space was spacious and stunning. I loved how the room was lined with windows that brought in natural light. The class I signed up for was at 6:45pm, so it was just in time for the sunset. Deka was our instructor for the flow. He was so welcoming and kindly got me acquainted to the space. He has such a calming voice that it nearly put me to sleep during savasana. I look forward to stopping by V12 Yoga again next time I'm in Dallas. read more

I was able to book an afternoon class through ClassPass and it was such a nice experience. There were only two participants (myself included) and our instructor was able to make the class personal and intentional. The studio space is so calming and I lived being able to look to the sky while stretching. I am so excited for more class here. read more

What an amazing experience! It had been a couple of months since I had practiced, but the studio is definitely one of my favorites! I registered for a special, Selena Yoga Flow and the music was awesome. We finished with a sound bath and the vibrations poured thru me like glorious energy! Veronica and Ade are amazing owners of this yoga studio. They have New Moon and Full Moon rituals every month, and facilitate together. The sessions always end in a sound bath with singing bowls. These yoga classes always make me feel accomplished, centered, and full of self love. They are wonderful facilitators and instructors, and their energy is gorgeous. They truly embody divine feminine and masculine. The studio is beautifully kept with giant windows for a beautiful peaceful ambiance. Shiny concrete floors for the win. The owners do a fantastic job of making everyone feel fed, welcomed and nourished. The ritual days have take away gifts for everyone. read more

What a beautiful and marvelous yoga studio on the rooftop in the heart of downtown Dallas!!! I had the pleasure of attending Ade's flow on a Thursday night and baybee let me tell you I was feeling the vibes! The *Namaste Dallas* stairs greet you and then you go into the lobby to check in. They have incredible merch up front and cubbies to put your things. The studio itself has lovely natural lighting and views of the city!! They have blocks/bolsters/blankets to grab, bring your own yoga mat. I believe they have class packs to purchase and I adore their amazing events. Talk about a beautiful studio. If you go after work, be prepared to have a calming experience of the sunset through one set of windows and a view of the downtown skyline in another. I haven't been in a class that was super crowded, or crowded at all and I can say they are very calming and helpful during the class. Not to mention the location is pretty nice and so close to the farmer's market. Whenever I have the time, I'll stop in for a session as it's been the best experience yet since I've moved to Dallas. read more

Please do not come here. I was super excited about this class. I was suppose to try it out with my best friend who recommended it. I paid early online to make sure I could get right in. I planned out my drive and left home in plenty enough time because I knew there would be traffic and I didn't want to risk being late. Well little did I know that there would be cop cars surrounding the building blocking the entire parking lot and police blocking the entrance preventing cars from entering. I called to ask where else could I park and the lady advised I could park at the meter which was nowhere near the building. Despite that fact, that's what I did, I paid for parking, and started walking back toward the building. I walk up to the building, go to the back as instructed by the restaurant owner, I get to the door and it's locked with a sign that says "CLOSED" I call again and the same lady I spoke with the first time advises that no one can enter late and also that I would not get a reimbursement for paying online, but I could use it as a credit for when I come back on time. This is not right, not only was the lady that I spoke with rude but very uninterested and did not care at all. Also, she failed to inform me that there would be no late entry the first time that I made the call and asked about parking. Not only will I never be back to return but I will tell everyone I know to never come here and I will be sure to write a review on every public site I know in detail about my experience. It's very unfortunate that I have to do this but I refuse to be silent and let this happen to someone else. It's not about the money but the lack of empathy and horrible customer service. Especially since this was something I couldn't control with cops surrounding the building and literally blocking the parking lot. Learn from me and do not spend your hard earned money here. If it's free, go for it, if not don't waste your time or your money here. It will not be appreciated. read more

I took a meditation class with Marina on Tuesday at 8pm. The idea of a "sound bath meditation" was new to me, and Marina Sbrochi did an extraordinary job of explaining the process, us all introduce ourselves, and asking for feedback at the end of the session and being available to answer any questions. She was exceptional. The class was also very small and intimate, which was nice. I left feeling more at peace. read more

I found V12 yoga while visiting family in Dallas. I turned to Yelp for a good studio in the downtown area and was pleasantly surprised by how amazing the studio and instructors are. I took a lunchtime all level flow on my first day and it was an intimate class with a beautiful view of downtown Dallas. Ade was the teacher and his class was so natural, with every move building upon the previous one. I especially liked that he warmed up your muscles before going into vinyasas and deeper poses. The pace of the class was moderate. It was under 80 degrees. It wasn't a "workout yoga" class - it felt grounding, spiritual, and welcoming. Mats and towels are free to use, which is really convenient for visitors. There are a few showers and good sized individual restrooms for changing/showering. I went back for a second lunchtime flow and had a great class then as well. I wish this studio was in Austin! I would go all the time if I lived in Dallas. read more

V12 Yoga is so nice! It's a small studio, and I love that they lock the doors when class starts. The teachers here are wonderful and unassuming, unlike at some yoga studios in Dallas. The studio also has a beautiful view of the Dallas skyline, and in the evening classes, it's so great to see the sky turn into a gold/pink hue. Super relaxing! Beautiful studio, probability one of the most beautiful in town, one of my favorite! Spacious and clean and everybody is so friendly! You will enjoy gorgeous sunset and downtown views during your evening practice! I take Jonas Park classes and can't say enough about his knowledge and teaching experience and his own practice and beautiful personality! He teaches advanced level 2/3 flow. I am not advanced even close but really enjoy these classes! Modifications are available and Jonas is making sure to help you on your level. I always feel wonderful after his classes that include wrists strengthening, shoulders and hip openings, just exactly what I need! I love his adjustments during class too! read more

I took a class here this summer that I wasn't really happy with, but I decided to give this studio another shot last night. This studio is located above the Green Door Public House in Downtown. It's really nice with a great view of downtown. I ended up signing up for Woni's All Level Flow class on Tuesday at 6:45. Woni is a great yoga instructor. He will push you to do new things, all while emphasizing the importance of your foundational poses and postures. I will definitely be back! No more hesitation with this studio! read more

I took Neomi's all level flow class and was really pleased with the level of instruction. The music was more contemporary than I'm used to, which gave the class a nice upbeat flavor. The room is a great size with lots of windows. I'm looking forward to coming back and practicing here! read more

I decided to try this Yoga studio because it is close to my hotel. The class was an "All Level Flow" class for an hour. I loved it and I am definitely going back as much as I can while I am here in Dallas. They have an amazing promotion for new people - $10 for 10 classes. That is just fantastic!! It is a very nice sized studio with big windows and an impeccably clean floor. My instructor was great, her name is Ana Jones. She led the class in a calm manner and I truly felt no pressure to do more than I needed to for my body. I enjoyed the meditation at the end and recommend this yoga studio for all levels. read more

Welcome to the modern yoga ... with just enough zen atmosphere and lots of energy and encouragement without all the stuffy stuff. Husband and I went for the first time yesterday, expecting a good hot vinyasa class based on the course description. We recently moved to the area and are looking for a new studio, so we opted for the 10 days for $10 offering. The studio is in a great location and the room overlooking downtown Dallas was beautiful. The instructor however left much to be desired in my opinion - he talked the entire time about his experience and his approach to teaching, all while not calling positions by their proper names, and making excuses for having to rush through the class because there was a workshop scheduled immediately after the class. So what was supposed to be a 60 minute class was basically 30 minutes because it started 15 minutes late and ended 15 minutes, and pretty much encompassed maybe 6 sun salutations with some stretching at the end. I broke more of a sweat walking over to the studio from our home than I did in class - incredibly disappointing. Not even a warrior one or a side angle to speak of, let alone anything remotely advanced or hinted at. To make matters worse, after class, the instructor asked my husband his name and told him that since we were experienced to try some other classes - that was all well and good. But instead of turning to ask me my name, as I was standing right there, he asks my husband "So, what's your wife's name?" I was just shocked and answered his question for myself. Needless to say, I felt insulted on top of a subpar yoga experience. Given the number of yoga studios in the area competing for students, I would expect more. We may give some other instructors at this studio a try over the next 10 days but given our time constraints and really needing quality classes on the weekends, I don't anticipate sticking it out with this studio. read more

I just completed their 10 days for $10. promotion and I can confirm that V12 Yoga is cooler than the other side of the pillow. As soon as you walk in to this studio, you're greeted by the joyful energy emanating from the resident greeter - the laughing Buddha. From the brick walls, to the dark wood flooring, to the exposed cathedral ceilings, to the ginormous windows which allows the space to be flooded by natural light, to the superb teachers like Ade and the legendary Chinook, to Veronica the HLIC (head Latina in charge) you can't go wrong. Chinook gets you out of your head and into the room - fully present. He guides you through your yoga practice with authority. Let go and go! Ade is the bootcamp RockStar. He's able to get you to do things you had no idea (caterpillars OEMGEE)... and wake up the next day to tell about it lol... They've been open less than a month and have already cultivated an authentic family vibe. I've swapped business cards, parenting advice and personal testimonies with complete strangers. I'm feeling the V12 withdrawal already. It was an awesome experience and as soon as I can secure some seeds for the money-grows-on-trees-plant I will be back. V12 Yoga does not disappoint! read more

I discovered V12 a few months ago with ClassPass. I know it is known for its Yoga, but I came to the studio because I saw that they offered Pilates and I had always wanted to try it. I am so happy that I found V12. My favorite class is by far Pilates on Wednesday nights with Alicia. She is such a great instructor and does an amazing job of challenging your core the ENTIRE time! I always leave her class feeling taller and more connected. I always wake up the next day with sexy abs. I love ClassPass! read more
