This place was very unforgiving the moment our uber dropped us off in the morning to the very last moment until we departed. Left Two days earlier. No extended stays. Arrived to the hotel to check in early. Which they permitted as our room was ready prior to the scheduled time. Immediately came to the room and was greeted with the most grossly outdated and unkept suite. After being told MULTIPLE TIMES this was a five star award winning resort. That was false. Service I Called "0" from the room phone and requested extra bedding for the pull out bed on the couch. No one came for 4 hours ! AFTER calling EVERY hour. I simply walked down there. Grabbing the blankets myself. I informed the team at the front of my frustration and was they stated we are just "busy". Okay fair we get busy at times. Dismissed it i just wanted to have a fun filled relaxing family vacation. Until it happened two other times. Again when I needed a plumber and another when my door on the patio wouldn't open. The frustration of another 3-7 hour wait. Doing it myself would have saved me time. Plumber came and just let himself in. No knock no nothing. Just oh hello! Already standing in the living room. Accommodations Now the room, The pull out bed! The pull out bed! Was atrociously uncomfortable we had to get take the second one off the other couch to make it make sense. The regular beds i stripped all the bedding off and rewashed everything and disinfected you could tell it was dirty. BLUE light reveals EVERYTHING. The kitchen has a stove OR hot plate depending on your room, stainless steel fridge , and basic cutlery. Entertainment Okay let's get into the pool. It's a pool ! Volleyball net in one with a tiny pool for the kids.The special guest of iguanas casually being in the water! yeah I said in the water! I have never swam so fast in my life all I knew is i needed out of that water. Oh yeah you get can a sugar water lime watered down lemonade. burnt coffee basically mud water complimentary in the "Smoothie Bar ". Words of advice simply don't. Take a run to the store , you'll thank me later. Oh wait if you're still here the entertainment was bingo. You play $5 to play and winners take the money in multiple segments. That was cool. Yes the kids played too. Food There's a bodega store called the tropical cafe the lady at the cashier ( older woman) very sweet truly enjoyed her and her store being priced appropriately for this location. The chicken empanadas were good as a poolside snack. Ah phew! Okay i believe i covered it all! Good luck! If you stay here i wish you the best. I was very concerned about this location with the less than stellar reviews, but we ended up loving this place! The check in could have been better. I had no idea that the building that I was staying in was about 2 miles away from the check in. The guys didn't care too much about you unless you spoke spanish, then they lit up and were happy to help. Outside of that I loved everything about this stay and will definitely be back. The contracts with this industry are very difficult to exit if you change your mind. You must verify an exit clause if you are unable to use it as advertised. They are salespeople who are only concerned with commissions. Take your cheap vacation stay and leave. It is a bad agreement to enter a contract with. Under no circumstances, should you stay here!I don't know how this hotel has so many good reviews. The rooms look nothing like the pictures that were probably taken 10 years ago.We had six rooms and every single room was filthy dirty. Ive attached a few pictures from my double room. There were bugs in my shower, blood on sheets in two of the rooms, hair balls hanging from ceiling sprinklers. All of us, including the children had to leave shoes on our feet because if you walked 3 feet in any of the rooms, your feet were black. I did speak to the manager who was nice and she sent somebody to clean my double room and I think the house keeper washed the floor with dirty water or plain water because the floor was still disgusting after she left. She was also supposed to change our linens because of blood being on them. The Housekeeper neglected to add a fitted sheet. When I called to have it fixed, it took me two times to call and when the gentleman brought the sheets and I asked him to put the fitted sheet on the bed he said absolutely not. This is not my job. We arrived a day and a half ago, have a booking for 3 more days, but seriously considering changing the hotel. I was expecting a nice and relaxing experience, but nothing could be far from the reality. Let me be more specific. 1. The room is not clean (pics attached), the toilet paper holder fell off the wall after the slightest touch. As we arrived late at night, I just let that one slide. 2. We booked a one bedroom suite for a family of 3. Yet, the bedding was only for one bed. It took them 2 phone calls and almost an hour to bring the bedding. 3. As we are staying for 5 days, kitchen was a big thing for us. Well, the kitchen is there, however, most of the appliances do not work (the electric stove and coffee maker). It took 3 phone calls and more than an hour to fix that. 4. More on the "service"...while I am waiting on somebody to come and fix the coffee maker (and we did emphasise that we have plans and need to leave), there are 4 people (FOUR!) dealing with the room that checked out next door to us. None of them speak English, yet, only after talking with them the guy showed up - totally oblivious that we even have a problem. I explained 'what's wrong', he disappeared for another 15 min, then showed up with new appliances - just handing them to me in boxes, and was genuinely surprised that I expected him to connect them and check if they work. This property is located in Weston, FL, in a quiet and pleasant area. From the outside, the building appears well maintained and relatively new, with fresh paint. However, the interior shows its age. Throughout the property, it's clear that the building has been around for some time. The staff and maintenance team are friendly, and they do a good job keeping the place clean and organized. However, the floors, walls, doors, and windows all show signs of wear and tear. Our one bedroom unit was nice, featuring a kitchen, living room, and a sofa sleeper. The unit also had a good sized balcony with a plastic table and two chairs, which we used one morning to enjoy the sunrise. I wouldn't necessarily consider this property to be very kid friendly, as there aren't many activities available. There is a large pool and an outdoor wet area, but beyond that, the main attraction is the pool. They offer a weekly activity schedule, but it's mostly limited to bingo (which seems to take place every weekday day at 1 p.m.) and daily aqua aerobics. This property is not near major theme parks or large family attractions. Sawgrass Mills Mall is about 8-10 minutes away, but other than that, there are very few attractions for children. The area does offer many bars and restaurants. If you're planning to stay in your room or need a quiet place for a few nights without needing a lot of activities or outdoor attractions, this property could be a good fit. There was a overwhelming mildew / aquarium smell in the unit. We were moved to another unit and it wasn't as bad, but the smell was still there. A new filtration system is needed and/or the carpet and drapes need to be cleaned. When we contacted the front desk they sent a maintenance person and he sprayed a solution which triggered my husband's allergies. However, this was a known issue because the maintenance person knew to come with this chemical. Even though this mildew smell was a known issue, the resort hasn't done anything to fix the problem except have the maintenance person spray a chemical. The bad unit smell was in all of my clothes when I came back home. Meanwhile the smell took over my CPAP machine. When I use my machine that's all I smell and I've been home for over 2 weeks. I've changed my filters and device mechanism. That's ridiculous! Not only was there a bad smell, but within the first unit, the vent system in the bathroom was very loud. In the second unit, the toilet paper holder was too small and you had to smash the roll in, and then you couldn't unroll the paper. So we basically kept it off. Also in order to get more toilet paper you had to be go to the 1st floor of the building at a specific time to get more tissue. Every time I went, nothing was there. In fact, I had to go across the street and ask the front desk. They did inform me they can bring tissue to the room next time. But i'm like this set up is ridiculous and so old school for the amount of money I pay to the Daily Management resorts and RCI! Also you have to pay a $50 amenities fee which includes usage of the pool, etc. But you also have to pay for refreshments at the pool. Again, I know inflation is an issue, but the amount of money we pay to use the resort and the maintenance fees that go into these places, we should not have to pay $14 for a cheeseburger that is probably tons of processed meat! Besides all of this, the room "looked" clean, the appliances and furniture need to be upgraded from the early 2000s. Would I go again, nope - only because I was traumatized from the smell! Maybe the Bonaventure location is better. If you are looking for a less expensive place to go with a family, this may be for you. The neighboring community is very nice, lots of good food and places to check out. A really good Mexican spot in the area was GuacaTacos. They have Mexican karaoke at night. I don't know the language, but it was still fun! There's also a AMC theater too. read more

We made reservations months ago. When we arrived we were informed that the pool was closed, and had been closed for weeks. The pool is the main reason we went there. They said its no big deal, you can just drive 2 miles to another pool. Very, very disappointing. I would have liked the option to keep my reservation or cancel. read more

I just got home from my weekend getaway that I've been looking forward to for months and almost left in the middle of the night our first night there. The mattress was so uncomfortable, I ended up sleeping on the floor on top of the couch cushions. My husband went to the front desk the next morning to ask if we could get a different mattress or a room with a newer mattress and were told no. We ended up buying a mattress topper because we didn't want it to ruin over vacation, which we shouldn't have had to do in the first place. We even tried to see if the pull out couch mattress would've been comfier but that wasn't any better. After moving the furniture to get to the pull out couch, we later found someone's acrylic nail on the floor which was horrifyingly gross. Goes to show they don't clean the place very well, either. When we arrived the first day, the door to the balcony was cracked open and we were on the first floor. The deadbolt wouldn't even lock, only the small top latch and that's after slamming the door shut multiple times to get it to latch. That's not very reassuring when someone could've easily just walked into our room. Speaking of walking right into our room, the cleaning service was coming around during their morning services and normally they knock on the door. When we heard the door to the combining rooms open and close, we assumed it was our neighbors until our door swung wide open and it was the cleaning lady. She didn't even knock. Luckily my husband was there to quickly close the door because I was just walking out of the shower..... We tried making breakfast one of the mornings but there was a cockroach on the counter and another type of bug on the "stovetop". As we were packing to leave, I did my usual check of the room to make sure nothing was left behind and when I checked under the bed, I found some broken glass and a bandaid. So clearly they do the bare minimum of cleaning the place. Expect to bring anything you'd need to because they don't provide anything for you but bar soap. At one point I brought in my own tissues because we couldn't even find a tissue box, which later was found under in a cabinet, that should be something out in the open. This place truly was horrible and I would never go back to this place even if someone offered to give me a weeks stay for free! This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. read more

We've stayed at numerous vacation village properties and this one is certainly the WORST! Deserves nothing more than negative stars. When we arrived to check in, there were 3-4 staff members chatting behind the counter while only one person was doing check ins. We were told our room is on the 11th floor, the building doesn't even have 11 floors. That's basic information the staff should know. We were given 2 B side rooms for our family stay, keeping us separated during our stay here. We REPEATEDLY asked for different accommodations but were told no each time even though no one was in the A side room next to one of our rooms. The staff here is beyond rude, as soon as we walked into the office the next day after we checked in to see if any other rooms were available they yelled "no upgrade" before we even asked the question. They don't even have basic amenities like shampoo or other essentials. When we asked for a band-aid, they asked us how big the wound was. Excuse me?! Initially they said they didn't even have any bandaids. ALL places should have a first aid kit as a basic. The dishes were filthy when we arrived, the bathrooms are sub-par. The furniture is old and dingy. The rooms are disgusting, old carpets and smell musty. Our first non-smoking room smelled like weed, so we changed to another one but that was not an easy switch either. They told us no rooms were available at first, so how did this room magically become available?! Every conversation with the staff at this resort including the manager was a battle. Our experience here single handedly ruined our vacation. We will never return, this place is not worth a single penny. read more

I've been coming here, just about every year since about 2017. And the water pressure is at 30%, there's missing furniture, the coffee pot leaked all of the place. A friend and I ended up at Vacation Village due to being evacuated from another RCI property up in Palm Beach Shores due to Hurricane Nicole. I'd never been to either resort - the other one was my friend's timeshare. At first we were told we could stay up in Palm Beach, but the next day we were evacuated -- Vacation Village is one of their sister resorts. I liked this property better than the other; however, Vacation Village isn't oceanfront, it doesn't have any restaurants, there are no restaurants within walking distance, and the pool isn't convenient to get to -- not unless you like walking through parking lots and across small streets. We brought our food with us, so we had breakfast and lunch in our room, and drove out for dinner. It may not be oceanfront, but the ocean isn't too far away -- maybe 25-30 minutes. This may be a good option if you want to save money on lodging and eating out. I just like having a restaurant onsite, and stuff to do within walking distance. read more

TLDR: Extremely rude guest services woman on the afternoon of December 31st, stinky suite that smelled like mold and piss, housekeeper that barged in. I checked into the one-bedroom suite at Flamingo I on the afternoon of December 31st. We pulled up in our Uber to Flamingo I and were never told that check in is a 15 minute walk away at the resort's other building. No transportation was provided so I had to leave my bags behind at the first floor of Flamingo with my family while I walked all the way to the check in 15 minutes away. We were successfully checked in and I walked all the way back to Flamingo I to find that the carpet in the bedroom we were given had a combined stench of mold and dog pee (and pee marks on the carpet). We called Guest Services promptly and asked to be moved to another room. The woman on the phone initially said they would find another room, but then called us back to say they have no rooms available and can't do anything for us except move us to another room in 4 days. 4 DAYS! Our check-out was IN 4 days. She was giggling as she said "Yeah, we have no rooms." I then informed her that I had heard people getting room upgrades at the front desk and offered to take one of the rooms those people gave up. She giggled again and replied "Room upgrades aren't free, just so you know." I told her that I am aware but I am not asking for an upgrade, I am asking to be moved to a room that doesn't smell like dog piss and mold. I pleaded with them to do something as we had paid for this room and this was supposed to be a NYE vacation for my mother and I. They offered to send someone up to scope out the issue, and I agreed but said I imagined the only way they would be able to get rid of the smell is by deep cleaning the rug. Again, she giggled and said there's no way they can do that. At this point, I had accepted that I was stuck and even Postmated candles to try and get rid of the smell. The employee did come up to scope out the issue and he grimaced at the smell upon entering the room. Somehow, miraculously, there was TWO available suites ready for check-in quite literally across the hall from us. We were given the keys to it within 20 minutes. It appears it took the employee to verify the stench before the woman at Guest Services could be convinced to do something about it. Ultimately, the unprofessional woman at guest services working on the late afternoon of the 31st wasted around 2 hours of our time in that smelly moldy room as we were supposed to be getting ready for our NYE plans, made fun of me for asking to be moved, and straight up lied about the availability of the rooms simply because she didn't want to do her due diligence and would rather leaves guests on vacation in a moldy pissy room. She had no professionalism and was completely unfit to be resolvin guest issues. The second suite we were moved to was much better and a decent suite. We were satisfied with it except for the slight stuffiness of the living room area, but loved that there is a full kitchen area and the bedroom was cozy. All was well until the day of our check out, which was at 10am. At 9:50am, the housekeeper started banging on the door asking us to get out, and when I opened the door, she actually tried to barge in. Although our second room was decent and the resort was convenient for our purposes, the service was absolutely atrocious (particularly that guest services woman). Not sure if the employees aren't being paid well or what, but I wouldn't recommend staying here again unless you absolutely have no other choice due to the ordeal that it was to get checked in and find a room that didn't smell. read more

Place looks well kept on the outside but once you're inside the perception changes very quickly. Tile is gold and has a weird sheen that looks like there's footprints on it. Maybe there was - but looked unclean anyway. Carpet is brown with tropical pattern. Everything looks like it was new back in the 1950s - reminiscent of the Dirty Dancing movie. Decor is terribly outdated and everything looks cheap. Inside the unit is the same. Drapes on living room and bedroom windows closed due to parking lot view and highway beyond that. Patio had old white resin chairs. Bathroom cabinets aren't cabinets - just a painted structure under the sink that is too small so indented 12" and tile facade around the bottom. Shower door is so flimsy that pulling it open feels like it's going to come apart. Toilet has plunger next to it and probably gotten from a local grade school remodel. Two layers of caulk holding in the TP dispenser and it still wobbles - really. Ads said bedding had no duvet or bed scarf due to Covid and CDC sanitation standards. Translation - these are germy and should have been tossed out anyway. Our room missed the inspection. The bed had both plus nasty decorative bed pillows which were smelly and got taken off immediately. Yuck!!!! Had to put one of the nasty decorative bed pillows in front of the bedroom door to keep it open. Cut off airflow and the AC ran constantly if door was closed. Kitchen was dark and numerous threatened penalties for actually using it and not properly following garbage or cleaning protocols. You pay a cleaning fee to rent the unit so stop with the 3rd grade threats. Left the property within 24 hrs and never brought in our luggage even though our rental was supposed to be a week. Shame on you RCI!!!!!! This could be a lovely vacation spot. read more

Simply awful. I am embarrassed to be a owner here. I purchased a timeshare hear back in 2001 when I didn't know any better. And it looks like they have not updated the resort since then even though they constantly increase the maintenance fees every year. Arrived on a Friday afternoon to check in around 4 PM. There was plenty of parking by the check-in building and there was not a long line waiting to get in. Once I checked in I got my room assignment and when I went there I was unable to locate it because there was no room number in the building I was told to go to. So I had to go back to the front desk and it turns out that the person who checked me and wrote the wrong room number down on my booklet that contained my keys so. After I checked into my room I was putting my groceries on the kitchen counter and noticed ants. And not just a few ants a ton of ants. They were on the kitchen counter crawling down the cabinets to the kitchen floor they were in the dining room floor on the living room floor going all the way to the balcony. When I called the front desk and requested a new room they told me they would have to send someone up first and see if they could rectify the problem. So after 30 minutes in the ant infested room no one had shown up. So I called to the front desk again and was told someone was on the way. I again requested a new room since this one was not habitable but they refused to provide me with a new one until a maintenance person came. After another 30 minutes the maintenance person finally arrive to spray for the ants. The product that he used was labeled hazardous to humans and animals. So finally I was given a new room assignment. I had a one bedroom unit there was a decent size more than enough space for me. What was annoying was that they have a coin operated laundry in the hallway on the floor that you stay on but not inside of your unit. With the amount that I pay in maintenance fees I would think that at least the laundry room would be free and I would not have to pay on top of all the fees I already paid to stay at the resort. A lot of things in the units are pretty dated including the boombox with cassette and CD player that I found in the closet. I normally try not to base my opinion on reviews that I read before I go to a place but in this case the reviews were spot on. I will never return here. read more

My grandaunt owns timeshare and decided to book this property for the week as it is 10 minutes away from family. She has bad allergies and suffers with asthma, and as she entered the room she immediately became congested. When I walked in I could immediately smell and feel the moisture in the room. I started to inspect a bit and as you can see some black markings on the wall that could possibly be mold and has been painted over, you also can see the photos of the curtains with many black spots as well. The windows in the room were foggy and disgusting as if it was never cleaned. We went to guest service and spoke to the supervisor by the name of Emilia who changed the room however she placed my grandaunt on the other side of the resort away from my mother, even though we consistently explained that she is splitting up a family. Emilia was not willing to make any accommodation until her back was pinned against a wall. The resort has A and B rooms, the difference in the two rooms are bigger living room space and full kitchen. The resort was not full and there were clearly A and B rooms that she could put them in so they would not be separated but instead she chose to move my mother in a room close by on the same side where she moved my grandaunt. Upon arriving to my mother's room we immediately felt the heat and smelled the moisture, this was because the AC in the room and not working. The AC was set at 68 degrees but the room temperature was 73, ironically the first room my grandaunt was given the AC gave the same reading. I called Emilia to inform her about this and she refused to make any accommodations until the maintenance guy came to check it and told her the AC unit is broken and needed part. This process took 45 minutes. It was only then she gave in and put my mother in the A room in the same hallway as my aunt. This resort needs to be inspected at all cost considering that the AC issue and moisture is a thing there. I personally would never stay somewhere like this or recommend anyone to stay here. This is unacceptable customer service and I'm sure accommodations are made for people who they see fit to make them for. read more

This place is gross & disgusting. After we checked in they told us our resort was down the road, had a feeling then we were n for a treat. The building is old , the rooms are outdated, roach infested!! Our kitchen refrigerator was never cleaned from whoever used it b4, we opened the door and was blown away from the smell & disgust of it! Pulled the sheets back in the bed and omg the smell of urine was awful and disgusting!! I can't believe a human would have the nerve to put something like that on the bed. Well I can tell u, nothing was ever Changed as far as sheets & comforter goes! These people are sick individuals. The jacuzzi tub they show, don't even bother, the water is soo dirty. Could possibly be from the tub not being cleaned either. The counter had dried up food. If that wasn't bad enough the roaches are everywhere! I'm just glad we didn't get bed bugs! I went to a timeshare lunch and realized for 50k/1100 maintenance fee you only get 85,000 points. I looked up a stay In Hawaii while there and for one week it was 100k points.. what a joke. When I politely declined and requested my $100 gift card, they told me because I was a Veteran I needed to stay for another presentation. I declined and was told it doesn't matter if I decline, I had no choice. Excuse me?? I served my time getting orders in Military, I will NOT have a salesman tell me I have no choice. We stayed two weeks and it was just ok. Pool needed cleaning. Honestly the best part is the housekeeping staff and maintenance crew. The units are dated but clean. Parking is uncovered. There are two washers & dryers per floor in the hallway and you either need the app to load money to it or quarters. We stayed in a one bedroom with a partial kitchen one week and a full one the next and both had everything you need to cook. Just bring your groceries. You can't really walk to anything and buy food. Except for the gift shop next to the pool but it's just pre made sandwiches and bags of chips (airport quality). We had a couple of appliances that didn't work and it took a long time (hours) to get someone to fix or replace them but aside from that it's a safe & quiet property. read more

Find another resort, this has been ruined by the management, and the extreme high number of renters who think the own the place, they are the rudest group I've seen. the pool race every morning at 8:00am when they blow a whistle and all 3 gates open and there is a massive rush to get a pool chair, these " guest" place their bags outsides the gate at 6 am so they can get " their" spot,,,I witnessed a fight, and heard of a woman who was knocked down and injured her hip, all to get a pool chair. pool staff does nothing, the laugh at this, management replies with the standard BS and avoids the issue, rooms are fair at best, as owners we would sell our week back to them if we could , has gone way down hill.. time for manger change ..I know the reply will address " we're busy" " we have bingo". We arrived early and it was totally understandable that the room was not ready. We were told to go to the next desk to get our parking pass and come back at 4pm. We asked if they could call if the room was ready sooner and they said we don't do that. On the paper we had to exchange for the parking pass it had our room number so when we declined the sales pitch we walked around. We were never offered a key to be able to use the pool while we waited! We walked around the grounds and saw that the room was being cleaned because remember the room number was written on the sales pitch paper. At 3:30 we saw that the room was ready so we went back to the desk to see if they key was ready and told it is not ready come back at 4. I said we walked around and saw she finished cleaning so it is crazy that I would have to wait in a line at 4pm with others when social distancing is still recommended by the cdc and a sign on their door. Sorry, have to wait until 4. Now, it is 4pm and told that I would have to come back at 4:30 like we told you earlier. Hmmmm. Three people waiting with me said you told us 4pm not 4:30pm. I am a very patient person but the room was done at 3:30! I also understand there may be shortages of help but no one tired to be understanding of travelers checking in after a long day. She finally said our room was ready at just after 4pm - changed the room number we originally saw on the sales pitch paper AND when we got to the room - it was NOT done. It was in the process of being cleaned. Not sure why the room number was changed because the other room was ready at 3:30. Hoping the stay is better than the check in! I am fine with the accommodations. Feel the pool is a bit small for the size of the resort. I have been offered something for inconveniences and declined BUT nothing here. Been going to RCI Resorts for many years. This particular Resort was absolutely Terrible. No on site food, employees were clueless to say the least. Room smelled upon arrival, so we exhausted 2 cans of Lysol to try to help with the stench. We were told that we were overcharged for the week stay by a direct employee of RCI. There were parties nightly by the bbq pavilion, that was loud and obnoxious. Parties were literally from one family that apparently thought they owned the entire Resort. The "Manager" of the sales department JORGE was an absolute rude person. This one stay with RCI, has left us with complete disgust and most likely will not purchase another time share with RCI as we were planning on doing. BUYER BEWARE. Don't get overcharged, don't let them talk down to you, and DON'T STAY HERE OR PURCHASE HERE!!! You will Thank Me later I promise!!! read more

Not too bad of a spot to stay in. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room until I kept finding little hairs in the bathroom. They were on the shower walls and in the tub! We were grossed out... I ran into one of the maintenance ladies and her hair was literally just all over the place. Didn't have it tied back or anything. So, expect hair in your room. Walls seemed pretty thin. We heard conversations, music and even chairs being pushed back from our next door neighbor. We didn't really use much of the pools or fitness center, etc because everything was so spaced out. We didn't feel like driving all over the place. The pool near our building though seemed maintained well. Workers are very polite. Overall, it was decent. read more

This place was horrible! Went to vacation here from NY with family during my spring break and when we arrived they said we can only use 2 devices for wifi. That was annoying but we didn't care because we came here to vacation anyways. There really isn't anything close by. You'd have to drive everywhere to get to where you want to go. So make sure you have a vehicle in place. The staff is sassy and have a terrible attitude problem. Some are even very lazy. I do not recommend this place at all. They held a bingo game at the pool for kids and every 2 minutes changed the rules. Continuing forward they only give you pool towels to exchange if you bring it down from your room. So they literally make you walk back to your room to get the pool towels. Additionally, they stop doing laundry at 5:30 so they had no additional pool towels to give out. The pool is open until 11pm. We had kids in the pool and the best the staff was able to do is just give us credit for the following morning. That doesn't help me since the kids were already swimming in the pool! I had to walk to reception and have them deliver towels to my room. I'm grateful that we were a big family because I wouldn't have been able to leave the kids behind unattended. What's really upsetting was that I had to do all this just for towels when the other staff by the pool were just laughing about doing nothing. I've also witnessed a man that got locked out of his room explain to reception that all of his belongings are in the room so he can't show any identification. He informed the front desk that the stove was on and they kept bugging for identification. Wake up! If you want your identification, go with the man and open the door with him there. Finally, they had the audacity to say they would charge us because the towels were placed on the bathroom floor and for any "extra" cleaning they consider to be extra. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR GOOD SERVICE. read more

Okay, so we were forced to come here. We booked a cruise through Caribbean Cruise Line and it pretty much went downhill from there. We were forced to sit through this nearly 4 hour information session that was just trying to sell us time shares. Given, we were already pretty upset, we went it with very low expectations. But, come to find out it was not really their fault. They buy into many vacations so that the vacation planners will bring their customers to them to see the timeshares they have for sale. In the end it was a pretty okay experience, except for the fact that it was 4 hours long and they were super pushy. Our representative's name was Trisha, from Trinidad. She was VERY nice and soooo informative, we just weren't in a position to purchase anything at the time. They start the day by taking everybody to breakfast and then taking you back to vacation villages to "get to know you" aka "start the selling process". And it's pretty much selling speeches, pictures and tours for the next 3 hours. Overall, it was an okay experience. Caribbean Cruise Line is really to blame. They should tell everyone that when you book the rip-off-cruise-packages with them, you are forced to go to a four hour time share presentation. read more

I stayed at this resort as part of a resort/cruise package promotion that was too good to pass up. The rooms were nice (you can see yourself) and the pool area and activities are awesome! Now, about the seclusion of the resort. The resort is, indeed, in a residential complex area. It is quiet, tranquil, and great to get away after hitting the surrounding areas hard. If you want something on the strip and chaotic, this is probably not the place for you. If you are looking to unwind at a resort that can shuttle you (or you have the capacity to actually lift a finger and get an uber), then this will fit your needs. Looking forward to having this escape again and we more than likely will be purchasing another condo at Weston. read more

Be aware that the Vacation Village timeshare has horrible customer service, when you call to deposit your vacation to RCI you can never get a hold of a representative, your call automatically goes to a voice mail and you are told to wait until 72 hours for a response back. Their website only allows to pay your timeshare fees but you cannot deposit your vacations through it, so your only option is to call them and leave a voice message and hope they will call you back. It is the worst customer service of the 21st century! read more

I wanted to take the opportunity to write a review because I know that often people only take the time to complain. I read the reviews before I left for my trip and it caused me to panic. I planned a vacation for myself and my daughters and I really wanted it to be great. As a single mom, I haven't had many opportunities to provide this type of vacation for my family through the years-- the fact that we could take a vacation like this now is a gift. I reached out to the Weston team, in advance, to express my concerns and was impressed to receive a phone call from Elvira. She assuaged my fears and answered my questions. She, then, directed me to speak to Vanessa, in reservations, so that I could make some changes to our reservation. Both of these ladies were wonderful, personable, and professional. The great customer service did not end there! Everyone that we encountered during our welcome and stay was kind, approachable, professional, welcoming--from the front desk team, to the staff we passed in the hallways, to the Smoothie Bar workers :) Our accomodations were everything that was advertised to us! The rooms were clean, well-maintained, stocked, and pleasant. On the first day there, we noticed a bee infestation in a palm tree close to one of our balconies and the screen door to the same balcony was not on track. The stff took care of both of these issues first thing the next day. We were even offered alternate accomodations but my girls preferred the rooms we were in. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and recommend this property to anyone looking for a getaway. Thank you Vacation Village at Weston for providing us with a wonderful vacation week. This place is actual crap. Long story short, as a customer I have never received service worse than I did at this establishment. The only good part about the establishment was Angela. Rocio is a terrible face for the establishment and I am going to get her investigated. She literally called me after a problem was already solved to yell at me about my review and then hang up on me. I am 20 years old. She literally yelled and hung up on a 20 year old. Do not stay here. I waited an hour in line to not be able to check in because I'm not 21, which they did state in fine print on the site, but the service I received is the actual problem here. The resort is fine, not the best but certinly not the worst, The management of their pool area is the epitome of incompetence. They cannot maintain the correct temperature of either the pool or the hot tub. Multiple complaints to management yielded zero response. If you are interested in a hot tub or pool experience, avoid this place like the plaque. The temp of the hot tub is 93 degrees and the pool is so cold it is empty. read more

I spoke what I witnessed and I also witnessed hungry children huddled and scared in the bathroom trying to seek refuge from the ongoing nightmare. I have the right to defend the elderly regardless of my personal age and I intend to do so as I am a Missionary who was sent and was wise enough to know of your scams in advance. I was told properties do not resell on E-bay yet they are reselling - elderly and deceived people can't afford your scams so that you can sit back and eat off of there backs! They took me into room after room hard selling me and each time dropping the price. Threatening not to sign off on my "free cruise" paperwork they had the ability to issue or not depending on my replies. I was alone and I was frightened and very nervous. As such two elderly sisters kept me company during our cruise. We were horrified as we saw people standing in line wearing VIP tags around the necks promised to be ushered on the ship earlier due to the timeshare purchase only to be standing beside us looking confused and angry that they were deceived. I recorded bits of the interrogation and even contacted REI who denounced affiliation but only making certain compliance coordination are up to par. I will be certain to let them know that as usual intimidation tactics are being made and subsequent intimidation tactics for me to govern my review. Sir I am a missionary and God governs my steps and those of his flock! We defend the elderly, youth, and work for justice for all - this is the american way!
