Today I visited this shop asking which vacuum should I buy? The worker did a very fast show for me using one of his vacuums. I like it but it was out of my budget and I didnt want to spend that amount for a vacuume so I asked this worker I need something for 100-150? I really shocked when he replay you have to go to Kuwait to buy this kind of "garbage" and he was eating, and he told me if I told you about tripe other one maybe you'll not let me finish my food because eitsvery expensive..... Its not a fault if you want to buy something not very expensive just to clean the carpet.I don't know why he's very RUDE. It was lunch time and I met Sean there and he was very professional, knew his products very well, understood my needs, and didn't try to up sell me on a more expensive unit. He also had no problems if I wanted to walk away and he was willing to match any internet based pricing. That was a bit of pleasant surprise and I decided I didn't need to do anymore research and bought the S6 Onyx. Since I haven't moved into my new place yet, I haven't tried it but with everything I read about Miele and knowing someone who owns one, I don't think I'll have any problems with it. Be warned, if you don't know about Miele vacuums, do some research first. They are not cheap. For me, it was a terrific experience from beginning to end. Sebo vacuum had clogged/full warning light on. The vacuum would shut down after 15 secs or so and very very minimal suction. On my own, I replaced bag and HEPA filter but the clogged bag light was still active. I searched yelp and found Vacuum Dept (near my work) and decided to take it in. Friendly service. Fast repair work (next day) and reasonable prices. Best of all the vacuum works like a charm and feels brand new. Great suction has returned. All I needed was a new band for my vacuum. The name of the company is, Vacuum Depot, that says it all, right? The company should be called, Vacuum Depot but Not During Lunch! I walked in, nobody is in the show room, then the salesman comes out of the back eating a sandwich. I told him what I needed and in between bites, he tells me that there are 98 different bands and he can't possibly figure out which one I need. I tell him I have the make, model and the serial number, but not the band. After another bite, he tells me, he needs the band to try and match it with something in his store. I say, can't you just look up the vacuum and see if you have that part in stock?..Just silence and chewing. Silence and chewing. He then yells, "I'll be right there," to somebody in the back room and tells me, "no." I left. I went to a different store. They looked up the vacuum and handed me the part in 2 minutes! read more

We've taken our vacuum in twice and the service here has been fantastic. Sean didn't even charge me to make a change to our vacuum so we could use regular bags for our Electrolux; which we have been unsuccessful at finding bags for. I was able to sit in my car and catch up on email for 15 minutes while Sean not only fixed our vacuum; but cleaned it up beautifully. I recently brought a Miele Salsa Vacuum Cleaner for about $500.00 bucks. Initially I was not quite impressed as this guy did not agree to decease the price than any other retailer nearby Irvine. I finally went there to purchase as it is the nearest to my house. Surprisingly he gave one vacuum bag set while I was closing purchase, I brought about my saga about my old Bissel Vauum and he told, give it to me and repair it in two weeks for free. Ok. I just took a chance and gave. I just got old one back, it was fixed so well, I may not need Miele. Coming to Miele it is a great product, though it is in high price range. No comparison with any other 5-10 vacuums I used so far. It is far superior. I hope this guy will service the same way he did now. I don't mind shelving 500. I am sure he will fix any issue and I don't have to buy new vacuum every other year. read more
