He called first to say he was twenty minutes away. When he arrived, my husband showed him the dryer and explained the problem. Mike thought it might be a heat sensor problem. He removed the back of the dryer and found that was the problem. He was able to replace the sensor. Before putting the dryer back to its original position, he also checked the ventilation hose. Mike put us on his schedule for the next morning, with a 2 hr arrival window. The next morning, (on time!), Mike called to make sure we were home and advised he was on the way. Within 5 minutes of his arrival and testing components inside the back panel, Mike showed me where the heat sensor was inoperable. After placing a new (Warranted) heat sensor and testing that the dryer was once again heating, Mike checked the ventilation inside the wall, leading to the roof, and was able to remove some lint obstruction. Everything sealed and back in place, Mike checked again and had me check inside the dryer to make sure I was satisfied with his repair. Total on site time for this repair, 18 minutes!
