Went for a birthday celebration, party of 4. We had a reservation (not necessary, as most tables were open) the waitstaff was polite but there was a bit of a language barrier - Spanish to English. The appetizer of gyoza was very good, but serving just 5 small dumplings. Our party ordered chicken teriyaki which was average in flavor, saucy but the meat was dry. Skip the yucca mash as it was flavorless and heavy. Was not hot. Also ordered Chofan Hawalano, Hawaiian fried rice. Flavorful but again not hot. Another had sushi which they said was good. Had the food been fresh and hot it might have been almost worth the price. But it was neither. The funky gimmick drinks were overpriced and under alcohol'ed! Although I told them twice that we had a birthday in our party, they sang to other tables -but not to ours. Out of those 4 only actually ate there twice, the other 2 I left prematurely because service was so poor. Servers are kind but everything is slow and inconsiderate of people's time. Once I was told it was a 20 minute wait to be seated and was patient enough to wait 45-50 with 2 young children and then they tell me it will be another hr. I obviously left. The next visit I arrive 30 minutes after they open then they tell me the kitchen doesn't open for another 15 min (no problem, I'll have a few beers) that 15 turned into 45 minutes and then tell me they don't know when the kitchen will open.
