dr nguyen used to operate out of the "advantage chiropractic" office down the street, under the name "back to health chiropractic", but he now has his own office, apparently. the dr owning the advantage clinic has a somewhat similar name, N. Lam, so that's a little confusing. i went to him when he was in the advantage office. i have nothing but good things to say about dr. nguyen. i found him on yelp and was not disappointed. he always has interesting stories, i learned a lot from him! he seems to be very interested in always learning more about health and chiropractic techniques. he also seems very devoted to his family. i came to him due to a car accident last year. i developed a chronic headache around the same time, and he was incredibly helpful to give me a referral for an MRI, which my health insurance would not cover, so i saved about 700$ for that. dr nguyen told me there are two kinds of headache, tension and migraine. apparently mine is migraine (the front of my head). if it were tension, chiropractic would have likely helped, but my neck was very flexible after his treatments, so that wasn't the cause. it's too bad he couldn't help me with my headache, but chiropractic won't fix everything. the dr also got me a very nice tempurpedic pillow, i still use it! i would recommend him to anyone looking for pain relief or health advice. read more

I've been a patient of Dr. David Lam for about a couple months now and he's been doing an amazing job! I used to get headaches and tension headaches everyday, but once I've been going here they've stopped or they're not as they were before. I also work on the computer basically everyday and of course that's not good especially the way I sit (or slouch sometimes). Dr. Lam Nguyen is amazing. Through the years, I've seen 4 different chiropractors in my life, and he is BY FAR the best one. He's a nice guy always willing to provide great advice on how to live a more healthy lifestyle. What's interesting and different about his treatments is that I usually don't feel better the day of the treatment, and sometimes not even great the next day, but I give it a few days and feel phenomenal. This man is the ideal chiropractor. I started seeing Dr. Nguyen for a persistent pain in my lower back, hamstring, and glutes that manifested as a result of lifting weights. During the first visit, not only did he give me an explanation in layman's terms, he visually illustrated what went wrong and the steps we'd take to fix this. I have been going to this Chiropractic office for about 4 years now and the treatments have helped me a lot. I go there for my back pains and injuries I get from playing sports. Dr. Lam Nguyen is very knowledgable and has helped me through many injuries. He would treat me for each injury until they are healed. He is very trustworthy and does not recommend treatment unless necessary. So once each problem was successfully treated, there was no need for more treatments for that injury. Also, the receptionist Marissa is very friendly and informative, and she made my visit very comfortable. She does a good job with the appointments, because I don't have to wait too long, for the visits are very quick and thorough. Overall, great experience. read more

Was recommended to go here by a family member because I was having neck/shoulder pains which led to a lot of tension headaches. Within our first few sessions Dr. Lam used the Graston Technique to bring back some my range of motion, now I'm able to turn/tilt my head without pain and I've been getting a lot less headaches. Dr. Lam also helped me work on my posture by showing me stretches and how properly do back exercises. I think I am due to write another updated review! I believe I have been coming here since 2014 now? What can I say! David is awesome! He's extremely knowledgeable and I am pretty sure he knows every part of the human anatomy. Right when he walks in he already knows what is wrong by the way I was sitting! I started off seeing him when I was in a Motor vehicle accident--always my go to for any motor vehicle accidents. He sees all types of clients from gym rats to weight lifters to anyone with any type of body aches/pain/soreness or to realign. I have been seeing him once a month now for the last several months since I'm always at a desk sitting and slouching over. It's a bad habit that I know I need to fix but extremely difficult when you are so focused with work. I also workout and lift weights so more weight bearing on my muscles. For anyone that goes to the gym and does a lot of strength training, definitely recommend taking care of yourself to relieve your muscle tensions and/or pain/soreness etc. Every time I walk out of the office I feel refreshed and I feel like I have a whole new body. My knots and tensions are all gone! Thanks to David, he uses the Graston instrument. The instrument hurts like hell but it is worth the pain! No pain no gains! (Reminds me in Asian culture where they would take a coin or spoon with the green ointment and starts clawing on your back) His front/back staff are solid! My mom was complaining of a lower back pain and she needed to see someone asap. We were very lucky to come across this place. Dr. Lam was very accommodating and agreed to see my mom the same day. My mom could barely stand up and was hunched over when she walked in their office. After Dr. Lam saw her, she was able to stand straight and the pain she was complaining of was barely there. If you need a Graston and/or ART specialist, this is the place to go. Lam is THEE BEST at his craft. My fiancée and i have been training for years (me for 25+ and her almost 20). We both compete in physique competitions and our posing and workout routines have drastically improved from seeing Lam over the last year (10 visits each.). My posture is better, my lats and traps are also working properly during exercising and overall have better form on literally every lift I perform in the gym. I consider my self a fitness professional and expert and I coach people, and Lam has taught me many things that have made my form and workouts 100x more effective. I injured my bicep tendon 6yrs ago. It never healed correctly. Dr. Lam fixed me! I was rear-ended in a car accident, and I had excruciating back pain. I went to another chiropractor for one month at least three time a week, and there was almost no changes. After trying out many chiro offices for the past 6 years after my motorcycle accident, I found David Lam through yelp and have been going to him on and off for the past 3 years. Every time I see David it's because of some sort of sport injury and it never fails that after a few sessions, the area in which is in pain goes away or there is mobility back in that area. Simply the BEST! Dr. Nguyen is simply the best! I have had to endure years of lower back pain and many, many disappointing visits to other chiropractors until I was referred to Dr. Nguyen. I have had chronic ankle sprains since 1994, Dr. Dave started treating my ankle about 2 months ago because of a sever ankle sprain.
