I lived here for about 8 years before recently moving out. In the earlier years--before the management changed--it was a much more resident-friendly place with a well-run system. However, over time, things noticeably declined. Long-term residents end up paying more in rent than new tenants, which doesn't feel right. Maintenance has become slow--when the gym equipment breaks, repairs take far too long. Parking is also a constant issue, often forcing residents to park far away from their own building. It honestly makes you wonder how many people are living in this complex. I stayed as long as I did mainly because it was close to my workplace, but eventually, it just wasn't worth it anymore. Anyone who has lived in an apartment for 8 years will understand--this kind of experience doesn't need much explanation. There are plenty of great residential options nearby that actually prioritize their residents. Unlike this place, which only offers empty promises, other complexes have much better systems in place to truly support the people living there. I have been living here since 2024, and overall, I truly do love it despite some flaws. My unit is in a great location within the complex, and I was lucky enough to secure a garage, which guarantees me a convenient parking spot when I get home. The unit itself has had minimal issues and the move-in process was seamless. A few months after moving in, our dishwasher unfortunately broke, but maintenance handled it quickly and installed a brand new one! We also had a minor plumbing issue with the kitchen sink, and maintenance was prompt and helpful in resolving that as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I genuinely appreciate how responsive the maintenance team has been.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] All that being said, I have learned that the apartment community is far from perfect, as we've experienced some ongoing concerns over these last 2 years. One major issue I've noticed is the frequent presence of the fire department--at least once a month, if not more. Residents are always getting stuck in the elevators, and there have been instances of people pulling the fire alarm in the middle of the night as a joke. I'm not sure whether those responsible are even residents, but it's disruptive and rude. (The complex has yet to address either of these reoccurring issues as well which is a little disappointing) Another significant issue is the guest parking situation and the blatant disregard for parking rules. Although the complex occasionally sends reminders, most residents ignore them. Almost daily, someone double parks near my garage, making it difficult to maneuver my car in and out. Guest parking is especially challenging for overnight visitors too. The last time I had someone stay overnight, their vehicle was ticketed despite being registered in the system. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I called the after-hours parking assistance number provided by the complex, the representative I spoke with seemed totally clueless to what his job was supposed to be and honestly made me feel uncomfortable even reaching out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Lastly, the cleanliness of certain shared areas is disappointing. I rarely use the elevators due to the clear reliability concerns and instead take the stairs near my unit. Unfortunately, that specific stairwell is frequently dirty. I've seen trash, dog feces, water bottles full of urine, torn packages, and even spoiled food. It's obviously gross and also gives the impression that these areas are not being monitored regularly. Security is another concern when bringing up the subject of monitoring. Side doors are often propped open, vehicles follow others through the gates, and some fob-required doors do not fully latch, allowing anyone to enter. As a young woman, I definitely do not feel comfortable walking around the complex alone at night which is unfortunate due to how much money I pay to rent here. Overall, while I genuinely enjoy my unit and appreciate the help I've received in the past, these ongoing issues with safety, parking, and cleanliness have been frustrating and concerning. I will continue to rent here but I do hope to see management step in a little more to address the issues and actually resolve them. read more

TWO MONTHS WITH NO A/C -- MANAGEMENT ISSUES. If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. I've been without a working A/C unit for almost TWO MONTHS at Valentia Apartments in La Habra, and the level of neglect and unprofessionalism from management has been absolutely outrageous. Especially since I used to manage and do turnkey apartments. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We've submitted multiple maintenance requests, made phone calls, and STILL, nothing has been done.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We've been getting the complete runaround from Tim (the General Manager) and Priscilla (Assistant General Manager) You'd think that would make it easier to get help -- but NOPE. Still nothing. Just more delays, empty promises, and excuses.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And apparently the only approval we need is from upper management from what Tim said. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Tim and Priscilla, despite knowing firsthand how long we've been dealing with this, hasn't been able to get anything moving either. It's beyond frustrating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We're paying full rent every month with a Small portable AC unit that wasn't Properly connected. I had To put tape around it myself just to get it to Be properly installed. while being stuck in an unlivable, overheated unit -- and management couldn't care less. Just stalling and total lack of urgency.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Do yourself a favor and stay FAR away from this place unless you want to be ignored, gaslit, and left sweating in your own apartment. FIX. I usually don't leave reviews, but I feel it's important to share our experience living at what's advertised as "luxury apartments." We've been dealing with a completely non-functioning AC for over 2 months, during some of the hottest days this year. After multiple work orders and empty promises, we're still being told to wait "another 5-7 business days" which has already happened several times without any results. [[HIGHLIGHT]]On top of all that, the manager, Tim, has been no help at all. He constantly dismissed our concerns and made us feel like we were overreacting, which felt like gaslighting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There was no accountability, no urgency, and no real effort to fix the issues. To make matters worse, the temporary portable unit they gave us was taped into place, constantly falling, and blowing hot air right back into the unit, making things even worse. There's no excuse for this kind of patchwork solution in an apartment complex that brands itself as "high end". Also, the front left stove range didn't work from day one, and it took over two months to finally get it replaced. That's just unacceptable. No one should have to deal with this kind of neglect, especially while paying for what's supposed to be a comfortable, upscale living environment. My husband and I moved in October of 2022. We loved our place and the office staff/maintenance have Our maintenance requests have been simple fixes yet both took a month to be resolved. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were out a light in our bathroom and a dishwasher for over a month weren't provided any updates during the process.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Also, our in unit laundry machine and dryer were super loud and told when we first moved in that it was normal, but after months of issues with it, it finally got fixed and the noise stopped. It would've been great to not have had to live with a broken machine for 8 months. Overall, a very quiet and nice apartment. I have been a resident for three years and decide to speak up and voice my concerns through this platform as well as Google. I have reached out to on-site management and also have tried to voice my concerns to a regional manager "Andrea Clare" who said she would plan to contact me on 8/25, she is now non responsive as we are on 9/15. Managements job is not only to bring in residents, but to uphold the marketing and advertisement as a "Luxury Apartment in OC". To also maintain peace and comfort to the residents who live in the community, which is a concern. Since it's not comfortable to live in a dirty community, also, since we have seen people moving in putting us residents in edge, who are submitting fake money orders & being evicted. Troubling our community by walking around with guns (how can this happen right?). I feel when a resident wants to speak to management and especially upper management. They should listen. It's not right for us to be paying so much money to live in a community where our concerns are not validated and taken into consideration. You would think by us speaking out it would help them do a better job. Not quite. -Trash is being thrown around the community, it sits there for days and sometimes months. -The community only has one person cleaning over five buildings of hallways, parking spaces grassy areas and dog parks (the gentleman is kind and overworked) it's not his fault our community is dirty. -Landscaping is the least that management can do for our community to look nice, unfortunately the landscapers that they have do not do a great job and you see weeds growing from the overgrowth of plants throughout the community. The palm trees also need to be visibly maintained. Brush and plants are not shaped. -There are dirt patches throughout the community that have animal feces that has been sitting there for months, it is now dried up and the color white. We know as a community that each animal owner is supposed to pick up after their pet but after weeks or months has it sitting there at what point does our management decide to clean up? -The dog park is cleaned with a water from the water hose, pure water is used to clean the feces and urine of the animals. Before Windsor was Fairfield management, who used the proper procedures of using water to spray down the turf, then spray and enzyme spray/disinfectant with a big machine to let the enzyme spray sit, then another round of water to rinse it away. My dogs love to use the dog park and unfortunately they don't like pooping anywhere else. I have spent hundreds of dollars in Wipies to wipe their hands and face every time they come in from our dirty community. It is very sad and disappointing that our community is failing us. I am not the only one who feels this way, talk to our neighbors are current residents who all feels the same. Something needs to be done, one man cannot clean this entire community. He needs help. The landscaping people are not great they need guidance. Management needs to walk the grounds, I never run into them and I'm home over 50% of the day. This is our home! read more

There is no security in this place. There's no rules at this place. Every single hallway smells like complete garbage all day long because people don't listen to the trash valet rules. My neighbors leave their trash Friday night and it doesn't get picked up till Sunday. And they just stack up their trash in the hallway. Just a disappointment. Been here since the end of 2020 . When we first moved in day 1 we noticed ants . The office said we probably left crumbs out . We just moved in !!! Ants in the bathroom and kitchen didn't even unpack yet . Why wasn't that looked at before we moved in . Parking is horrible people who have garages park in spots and use their garage as storage . Smoke free ? Yea right I literally have to close my window often because someone in a nearby unit is smoking , you can smell the smoke when you're walking around the building , I smell it when I walk by peoples units , I've seen people smoking and at one point is was going through our vents and we have a baby so i was beyond pissed . Dog shit all over . Make sure you look down when you walk . Also, dogs not on their leash . At one point when I was pregnant walking to my car a guy was walking his dog with no leash (huge dog btw) told me the dog doesn't bite . Hmmm idc dogs do random things why isn't it on a leash outside of the dog park . Walls are thin but it's an apartment that's not new but be prepared to heat dogs barking and loud music I mean super loud at random times and it's a lot . Water issue smh . There's been more than one occasion when the water has been brown like huh !! Why is my water brown in supposed to bath my child in this water and myself ? Brush my teeth in this water . And the water smells weird . Might be a city thing but it's horrible . Guest parking not alot , you can tell people who live here park in guest parking . Look for Rick from the leasing office! He's great! He is so very friendly, responsible and kind! He'll help you get things done. Apartment itself, I mean, the fixtures are cheap compare to the outer appearance. Microwave, stove, washer and dishwashing machines are cheapest line. Btw, refrigerator is small. I am in 2 bed 2 bath unit and refrigerator is small, they are the ones in one bedroom units. I mean here and there little and big fixtures and parts in fixtures are cheap. Saw a huge cockroach, one that I would see in the streets of downtown inside my unit. He lives in behind my master bathroom cabinet. He would not even fit in those largest cockroach hub I bought from Home Depot. When I moved in, the apartment was not clean. Had to ask the maintenance to schedule a deep clean. Rick helped me out get things done. (those weren't easy without Rick's help) outside the unit, the amenities are nice. Very quite. Tenants are nice. Leasing office and workers are nice. read more

Valentia management has CHANGED FOR THE WORST. To "Fairfield Residential" to "Windsor" Prior management was on top of EVERYTHING. -Parking is a nightmare. Cannot have guests basically, there are only a few parking spaces in the front for over 5 buildings of units. THEY WILL TOW CARS, security and management does not warn before towing. There is a bypass in warning issuances and vehicles are towed right away. -Security refuses to give work cell number to residents for emergencies. Does not speak English. This management has a list of bad changes. -Dog park is not maintained properly with enzyme spray that Fairfield used to use. There was an instance where the entire dog park was full of feces and residents were left with no bags to pick up. -Windsor does not pay to have enough maintenance, gardening personnel. "Overworking" the personnel and it's not their fault. It's windsors standards. -Low staff, including office staff. There is only 1 person as 4 positions!!!!!!! I CANT STRESS THAT ENOUGH. poor women does not have help and cannot assist residents since she's acting as a leasing consultant as well, vice versa. -Hallway floors are dirty. They used to be power washed every week and now the 1 maintenance person has to much on his plate to get to it. A TON OF LABOR! read more

Parking is bad. I have no parking if a friend wants to visit me. (Guest parking is always full when I look at it). You would think paying such a high rent... I'd be able invite friends over. Also they force you to pay for services you don't want, use, or need...The Valet trash service. I don't use it, but have to pay around 22$ for it in my monthly bill. Worst apartment to stay at. I was staying with my husband for six months at an Airbnb which I found out wasn't even supposed to be an Airbnb. We went to the pool on 4th of July and we experienced kids around 12 years old drinking alcohol and misbehaving, ask for the Security to handle this situation and Security said that's not his duties. After that I went to leasing office to talk about that situation and one of the leasing agents was so rude to me and started talking about where I park my car, her name was Santina Momreal. read more
