The wife and I dropped in while driving through Dulzura on San Diego east county's Highway 94. The setting is an old house that's been converted into a cozy winery. It's located next door to the historic Dulzura Market. There is room inside to meet the owners, Lance and Lupita, as they tell you about the available wines, and ample room to sit outside on the deck. We tried 6 wines and enjoyed them all. In addition to buying some of our favorites, we also bought some very, very good olive oil. The local buckwheat honey was tasty, too. We chatted with the owners about their grapes, the winemaking process and the area. It's clear that they are passionate and knowledgeable about their wines. Highly recommended as a cool place to visit and enjoy a wine tasting.

    Harvest day at Valentinas Vineyard.

I bought honey, olive oil, and lemon jam were fantastic. Olive oil is fresh, naturally grown and delicious. Lance the owner gave us the most educational wine tasting. Try their wines, my favorite was the Sauvignon Blanc. The setting is beautiful, vineyards surrounded by olive trees, pomegranate, avocado, figs, and lemon trees in a native California field. Gorgeous.

Hidden San Diego gem just 25 minutes east of Chula Vista. Gorgeous and relaxing landscape will make you feel like you are on vacation. All their wines were delicious but their rosé Grenache and 2022 Sauvignon Blanc were simply superb. Lance and Lupita's hospitality was warm and welcoming. We will definitely be back

They have unique wines infused in whiskey barrels. I had their Chardonnay which had a slight taste of whiskey in it but I thought it was pretty good. I also tried their pepperoni and sausage flat bread which also was pretty tasty. We were greeted by "Whiskey" the cat and as we were told apparently he was a stray and greets everyone as they arrive which was cute. They have misters which helped a lot with the heat.

Called 20+ Vineyard and put my requirements and was chose Crystal hill as my choice, I am so glad I made that decision. Best wine, amazing scenery, very private, kid friendly, pet friendly most of all sweetest Staff you will ever find. This is the best winery of Ramona by far and exactly what we were looking for. The view is stunning and beautiful view, atmosphere is very relaxing. Wine choices we were excellent, Excellent wine, especially the whiskey barrel wines! Wine Choices: We initially ordered wine flights, double and singles an we choose the below bottles from there. 1. 2016 Stone Lake Merlot 2. 2016 Whiskey Stone Lake Merlot 3. 2019 Malbec Rose 4. 2017 Whiskey Rose They even have food; their flatbread is amazing too. The Staff and owners were very nice, as we were having good time Scott the owner took the kids, around 10 of them to a short hike and showed them around the property and vineyard, kids had good time while adults were drinking up. Meanwhile Kristy engaged the smaller kids. It was all fun and everyone had fun. Special kudos to the lovely bartenders. If you are looking for great wines, amazing views, comfortable atmosphere, great staff, kid friendly, pet friendly, this is the place. We are going back soon

Their policies are straightforward so there were no "surprise" extra charges. Paola provided me with our driver's contact information the day before the tour, which helped a lot. The day of, our driver Martin, contacted me 15 min ahead of schedule, which I really liked. He was very helpful and would always ask if we had a good time at the winery that we happened to visit. He would also accompany us to the entrance of each winery to let the hostess know about our reservation and also, he would communicate with me throughout our stops, without rushing us off course. This dynamic made our itinerary run smoothly. 100% recommend!

We were reading online that rideshares aren't really accessible there and that hiring a private driver is more the norm so we opted to go that route. We were considering several different options but since we were bringing our 93 pound fur baby with us, we needed to make sure we found a company that was dog friendly. Initially, this is what separated Ansell from the rest but the level of service and communication they showed us really left us feeling that we had found the best choice possible. We were coming to the Valle to spend 5 full days and we knew that we wanted to mostly spend that time wine tasting but also were hoping to get recommendations on other things we could do in the region. I had a handful of wineries that I knew I wanted to check out, but apart from that Ansell basically planned out our itineraries for us. In the weeks leading up to our trip Ansell presented several different itinerary options, fine tuning them with our input as the date got closer. The end result was 3 days of wine tasting in the Valle with a lunch stop in between, and 2 days exploring downtown Ensenada as well as making a trip out to Puerto Nuevo, a nearby fishing village noted for its lobster. I also told them that I was planning to propose to my now-fiance and they went above and beyond in helping me select a great venue! Upon meeting our driver, Victor, we felt completely vindicated in our decision. Victor demonstrated a great deal of hospitality as well as knowledge of the region. His recommandations were always spot on and we are so glad we had the privilege of having him as our guide for the full 5 days. Not only was Victor extremely professional, he also was a great conversationalist. My fiance doesn't speak any Spanish (although she definitely learned how to say "no muerde" and "es un perro fresa" during our stay), so it was very helpful that Victor is bilingual. We had many cultural exchanges. My fiance's native language is Russian so we got to teach him some Russian phrases and he taught us about Mexican and Ensenada history. By the time the sun was setting on our last day with Victor, the mood was bittersweet. We felt as though we were saying goodbye to a friend. We know we will be back to the Valle and when we do, we will definitely be asking for Victor and I definitely recommend that anyone reading this to do the same

This one is for Cameron!…read more On Friday September 30, my friends and I took this tour to celebrate my bachelorette. We have never been to the Valle before, and after hearing all the violence that occurred during the weekend of Baja Beach, we were a little nervous to cross, but it was amazing! Cameron was great, he kept our group engaged and made us all feel safe! We were a private tour and he picked us up from our Air b&b, we headed straight across the border and drove ocean side to our first stop... tacos! Cant go to mexico without stopping to enjoy some street tacos. Next stop, Finca La Carodilla. The winery was beautiful, however, we did not love the wine... we still had a great time enjoying the scenery. Next stop, Xalos. While this wasn't on the agenda, Cameron and Ryan created this detour option for us after Adobe winery was unable to host us. Here we enjoyed a fancy cocktail and some delicious churros. Again, beautiful scenery! Third stop, Monte Xanic. This was by far our favorite winery for the day. There are beautiful hills, and a small (possibly man made) lake on site... the wine was excellent, we bought four wine bottles. Lastly dinner, wow... The scenery, yet again! The tables were set up with a picnic cloth under string lights. We arrived for dinner around sunset, and we watched the beautiful sunset colors painted in the sky between the hills. Our food was delicious, and they did offer drinks at this final stop, which we did pay for separately. Lastly, our trip was over and we were headed home. Half our group had global entry, which was nice since they did not have to step out on the drive back from the border. My friends and I are all from Mexico, however, none of us had visited this region before. Its so nice to see how Mexico is becoming more known for their wine and aesthetics... Definitely bring cash, comfortable shoes and an empty stomach as there is plenty of food throughout this experience. Everything was great, and our group enjoyed Camerons company and the knowledge he shared with us on baja california and the up and coming Ruadeseo company.

They were warm and smart and great conversationalists, which helps me immensely while stuck in the car. They took us thru Valle de Guadalupe and we got to see much of the coast on the way to our lunch taco stop. Vegan options were included so I was thrilled. We ate to our heart's content and then we made way to our first winery. It was spacious, peaceful, and extremely clean. Next we went to the second winery, our favorite of the trip and we were able to try not just the wine but some snacks made from the food grown on the property. And lastly we stopped at a small cute winery for more food to soak up the booze a bit. They fed us SO much, and then had wine and agua frescos for us to enjoy as well. Each place was slightly different and so for that I'm super grateful. They are truly some of the most genuine people you will meet. We are already planning a trip to go back with hem again. Thanks so much!

The woman at check‑in was very nice and gave us a map plus a quick rundown of the layout so we knew exactly where to go. I'm obsessed with pigs, so I was very excited to meet their adorable pot‑belly pig at the front named Toffee. Tickets were on the pricier side, but honestly worth it -- the money supports an organization that gives animals of all kinds a safe, loving place to live. They also sell produce grown on the farm, along with drinks and snacks you can enjoy while walking around the grounds. They offer upgraded experiences for an additional cost if you want something more hands‑on. We went on a bright, sunny day, and it was HOT -- definitely recommend sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen, and comfy walking shoes. I was in heaven here. They have goats, camels, pigs, horses, a zebra, and more. You can easily spend the whole day here -- come early to beat the heat and the crowds. There are also cats that roam the property and one of them followed us throughout the whole place. Can you ask for a cuter tour guide?! They also grow their own produce and sell eggs.
