However, something felt off during the interaction, which led me to do some research. I discovered that the company reportedly went out of business in 2021 following a tragic incident where a passenger fell from one of their buses on the freeway due to an unsafe vehicle causing a tragic death. Today, I spoke with someone named Ana, who then referred me to a man named Justin. He came across as very unprofessional and gave off a sketchy vibe. The quote I received was significantly lower than any other company, which now makes sense given what I've learned. This is not a company I would trust with my child's safety--or anyone else's. We booked Top Dog for our wedding in Fallbrook a year+ in advance, and when I made my rounds checking in with vendors a few months before the wedding, this company informed me, and I quote, "oh that bus was stolen, the owners are getting a divorce, and we aren't operating". Top Dog is absolutely the top of the heap for limo winetasting bus trips to Temecula. We have booked the 20 and 30 passenger bus, both times with Jen as our driver, and the entire experience was fantastic. One of my friends also uses Top Dog/Jen every year for her annual birthday bus trip, so just had the pleasure of going in Top Dog style again. The bus is awesome -- lots of room, high ceilings so you can walk around and/or dance, great sound system, fun lighting, decorations for whatever event you're celebrating, built-in ice chests to keep your champagne and other beverages chilled, lots of cup holders, w/ champagne and other glasses ready to be used. But the best part is the service - Jen is always on time, really friendly to all the guests, professional, lays down the ground rules, but then is super fun and will bend over backwards to make sure everyone has a great time. She is very knowledgeable about the wineries, their schedules, getting us in and out, and kept us right on schedule. Little known fact, Jen is also quite the hoola-hoop diva - maybe if you're lucky, she'll unload some of her hoops from the truck and you can give it a try -- and check out her finesse w/ the hoops - pretty impressive. We just got home from taking 17 people to see Christmas lights all over San Diego. Our bus arrived on time, was clean, stocked with ice and glasses decorated with red and green paper & candy canes, and all decked out with balloons and Happy Birthday decorations for our birthday girl. This is the second year Top Dog Limo has driven us around on Christmas Eve to view Christmas lights around North County. Ana is wonderful to work with - she's responsive and kind. Rebecca our driver was the best! She handled the 30 passenger bus like a boss and was super accommodating. I had a list of places we wanted to see and she had suggestions as well!
