this car wash barely cleaned my car. Normal dirt and bird poop were still on the car after the wash. When I finally found the supervisor, she said the dirt was "baked in" to my clear coat but the same dirt was also on the windshield which should have at least come off. And she did not offer to run my car through again or a refund. She said I purchase the product and th le result is the result. I came back from a road trip this past weekend and road through a winter storm where my car was literally all white with salt. I usually am very cheap out car washes and just look for the least expensive place and expect that it does a mediocre job that i have to take a bunch of towels to really get the car clean. I have to say i was really impressed with this place and how it really got all of the dirt off the car. This had multiple passes on the car, no scratching but yet a deep deep cleaning. The vacuums and rags were nice, dry and clean so helped get the wetness and such off the car. Only complaint could be that they didn't have anything to wash my rubber car mats but a little bit from my water bottle and the vacuums / air blast did the trick. Worth the extra couple of bucks for the clean and the great equipment. read more

I got the protection level wash today plus the interior valet. It's clear the quality control is completely horrid. The bottom 3 inches look completely untouched and the rest of the car came out still with spots and smudges. As for the interior service ($20) The inside was cleaned but there was still about 30% residual filth and dog hair and the cup holders look completely untouched. For $33 I could have hired someone to hand clean the car for 3 hours and do a better job. read more

If you enjoy keeping your car squeaky clean, this place is definitely for you! Valet Wash offers three membership tiers which range from $17 a month for the Deluxe package to $30 a month for the Ultimate package. I find that the deluxe membership is more than enough for me. The memberships also include unlimited use of high velocity vacuums which is great. No more rushing thru the car as you work against the clock. Finally, you can use a Valet Wash membership at any one of their 6 locations, which is a huge plus for me. At a full-service car wash place I normally pay well over $25 for one service. At the do-it-yourself place I usually go to in Fairless Hills, it runs anywhere from $12 to $15 depending on how fast I work. Now that I'm a member at Valet Wash and paying $17 for unlimited washes, I'm saving all kinds of money and the convenience is unbeatable too. Appaling customer service!! The "upgraded" PROTECT car wash was no good on my Audi A6 S-line and left residue sticking onto the car. So took to the self-cleaning bay. The staff at the bay (called himself José), was cocky as hell when I showed him the result of the wash. Said "thats what happens when you dont clean your car for "months". Though he did see how sharp the car looks between residue the car auto-wash couldnt clean. And that after I told him I used to be a monthly customer for years with them, and now have returned to Princeton. He point blank said I was lying and indicated I had 15min to self clean and had to clear the area off. Will never let Auto Valet Princeton anywhere near my car again. read more

Have had my membership since they opened and have not had any problems. Today, I take my car for a quick wash and towel dry areas that need dried. I had a man approach me outside my car and told me I had to turn my car off- I was confused- no other time have I ever been told to turn my car off.. So, I asked another man if this is something new, he (Brad) yelled at me and told me I need to learn how to read the sign and he shouldn't have to tell me anything. The Valet Auto Wash is pretty conveniently located right on Rt. 1 in Princeton. It's totally on my way home and I have washed my car here 4 times so far. The car wash has two parts. There is a fully automated exterior car was, which takes about 5 min to go through. Cheapest option is $9.Although I have not tried any of the more expensive options, the cheapest car was option is not good. It consistently leaves my car dirty (as can been seen in the photos). The only part of this car wash I love is that there is absolutely no lines and that from the moment you drive in to the moment you pull out, only 4.5 min have past. It's good enough to wash the everyday dirt, but definitely don't bank on having your car very clean. The second, optional part is the Interior Valet Service. I decided to try it on a whim as they were offering a discount the day I was there. Full price $20 and $15 with the discount. After you wash the car through the external car wash, you pull up to another building and leave your car with the valet (there were 3 or 4 people). You can go inside and wait for your car to be cleaned on the inside. The waiting area is like a car was heaven. So beautiful, clean, comfy couches, free coffee. The best part is the floor to ceiling glass window that allows you to see your car move on the conveyor belt through the length of the building. As the car is moving, there are 4 people simultaneously vacuuming and cleaning the inside. It was a really cool experience, somehow "futuristic" even. You'd have to see what it looks like to understand. But this is where my positive remarks end. Simply said, my car was dirty after the interior valet went through it (again as can be seen in the photos). My car was not that dirty to begin with. Just some small rocks on the carpets (those were taking car of) and regular dust on the headboard and fingerprints on the touch display etc. Even the cupboards were not vacuumed. I actually said something but the reply was: "If you want your car very cleaned, you'd have to get it detailed". Oh well, I will not be coming back as for almost $30 (with tip), I could have cleaned the car better myself. They do have self service vacuums there btw. read more

A lot of people expect the whole world for a couple of dollars. Ridiculous people expect their car completely detailed for the meager price of a car wash. A fast car wash is like a fast food meal. You don't go to McDonald's and expect red lobster for the price of a happy meal. People should try washing their car by hand inside and out before they write reviews about how their little $20 wasn't worth it. "This car wash"is convenient and extremely affordable money well spent!!!!! Worst car wash ever. No one dries the car. In fact as the number of employees is whittled down it looks like the plan is to have a fully automated - i.e. no people - car wash. You can see the sadness in the eyes of the few employees left. For the same price as the former service they no longer vacuum, wash mats, put tire cleaner on, clean interior Windows, or dry the exterior. Avoid at all costs. As a frequent customer of this location for 20 years I will never come back unless the former level of service is restored or at the very least have a staff to dry and spot finish after the wash. I have been to several 'auto' car washes and this one seems to lack a couple things. A person to help at the paying/selecting station and just having more people around. My issue with this place was when I was at the end of the tunnel, the dryer roller did NOT come down to dry my car. It did for the car in front of me and it also did NOT come down for the car behind me. I did the Deluxe (cheapest) package at $11 on 3/7/2021 but I don't think it excludes drying my car. I don't live close by so I had to deal with spots on my car when I reached home. There was no one to talk to or ask and I felt helpless. I was also in a rush to leave having waited so long (couple drivers were spending a lot of time at the paying stations). They had one guy at the start of the tunnel to usher you in but he doesn't seem to need to make sure the car that is rolling in is getting the right treatment that's paid for. I'm skeptical of this and just wouldn't trust the system to get it 100% correct with so many cars rolling in with different selections. I wouldn't be so sure I will get the wax I paid for and how would I know? Had someone asked or confirm at the start, I'd trust it more. But I won't be going into this place again. read more

I have two memberships for the valet auto wash locations in NJ and PA. This one on Rt 1 in West Windsor is terrible. The staff in good, but the wash isn't up to par with the Lawrence or Bordentown locations. Upon exiting the wash, the driveway to the vacuums is abysmal. Since they haven't re-paved the exit area nor re-graded with drainage, dIrty water pools outside the car wash. So essentially, you get your car washed and then drive through dirty pools (not puddles) of water which dirty the car immediately. Come on guys, you can't not see this issue. I'm paying 60 bucks a month for two cars and this has been an issue at this location for well over a year. read more

I have enjoyed the monthly subscription service, but their customer service is a disgrace. I am a customer in good standing but was denied entry. My good standing could easily be proven on their own app. The attendant was not empowered to help me, only to deny service and advise me to go to another Valet car wash. The attendant could not call anyone to verify the incorrect information. It was extremely frustrating as I carved out time in my day and I know I was 100% correct. I've been to this car wash location a few times so I won't give 1 star as it is conveniently located. On the other hand, this wash will require multiple run throughs to provide a bare minimum clean though I have not noticed any scratches overall. The issue with how this location is designed and run stems from the lack of direction for customers, and consideration for others when those directions are not followed. I am leaving this review to inform others to act with caution. When I attempted to use this wash today I experienced an issue where another car in front of me slammed on their breaks while being on the automated tracks inside the wash. Since I had already entered the wash at this point, the tracks kept moving my car forward and ran my car into the car in front of me. I requested the manager and was told this happens frequently and was due to the person in front of me hitting their breaks. Though this is a frequent occurrence, I was told that they are not liable for any damages, nor is it there responsibility to stop the offending car and driver from leaving after the accident took place. I would only recommend this place if it's convenient and you just need to rinse your car off, really. They raised the basic wash price from $6 to $9. No matter what type of wash you pick,you'll have soap spots on your windows. This could be typical of all car washes, however. Poor auto wash and there are very minor scratch marks after the car wash, it is not a good place for a car wash. If you sign up for monthly and they won't give you card, then you have to go Lawrenceville New Jersey to go and get a car wash card for monthly service. If you ask and show receipt specially at Route 1 location near Marketfare mall, they won't entertain and blame you to not going to Lawerenceville to get a card. There is no sign or instructions on receipt when you signup to get the card. Worse service ever ! read more

Monthly "Wash Club" signs you up for perpetual monthly charge, which is not obvious when you sign up - and you can only cancel in-person. !!!!! Another Warning !!!!! Equipment failed and I got stuck in the wash tunnel for 15 minutes while the staff tried to figure out what to do, and the soap was drying on my car. After another 15 minutes, staff finally hosed off my car - I had to wash car myself to get soap film off. No apology or offer of free wash. This is a chain which services quick oil change car maintenance and car washes. The Princeton location only has car washes available at the moment, with the lube services opening soon, therefore I can only speak for the car wash. One person ran the whole show. The cheap car wash is $6! That is the best deal, as I went twice and paid for both a minimal and a more deluxe version but saw no difference from the $6 one. The more expensive ones include extras, but none of those extras happened IMO. There are no men on the exit end of the car wash to dry your car, therefore your car air dries with streak marks. If you are particular, not so good. My $12 car wash did not entirely clean my car, either... still lots of bugs on the hood. It is better than nothing if your car is a mess; get the $6 wash. read more

I was going to dinner at PF Changs which is around the corner from the car wash. I was early meeting others so I figured I'd get a quick car wash. This place was neat and clean very modern, but a terrible wash. I have a 2017 Mercedes and got the best wash they offered. Upon parking at the restaurant, I realized The back end of my car was filthy from the trunk down where apparently the brushes in the car wash didn't touch. And the brushes that are supposed to drive the vehicle to a terrible job as I now have drop stains all over the vehicle and will need to get it re-washed tomorrow. Great basic wash for the price. They have a user-operated area for free vacuuming and hand washing that accommodates several dozen cars. Organized and very clean. Microfiber provided (cleans windows well); vacuums are strong and the edges are sharp (cleans corners well). Saw families on Saturday morning cleaning their cars together which was nice. read more

I went to Valet Auto Wash last Tuesday, June 21,2016 expecting the same wonderful service I have had for over 10 years. Instead I received a less than good water spraying of my car. The worst was no one dried off the car & they do not do the inside of the car. I am very picky about how my car looks & it did not look good after paying with a coupon $12.00. I was totally ripped off & will not be going back. Princeton Tiger Wash had pleasant employees that did what they were supposed to do that is wash & clean your car. I am guessing that this car wash will be operating with 1 employee who will be there not to give service with a smile but just to troubleshoot. I called the number listed and the answering service very cheerfully announced they are open from 7:30am-7:30pm weather permitting. The $12 Exterior wash is ok, except that you need to hand dry, clean the windows and vacuum yourself. The biggest complaint I have is that the rim cleaner does not come close to doing an adequate job, especially if you have even a small accumulation of brake dust. Then, when the tire shine is added (far too much of it) it all turns into a oily sludge that you need to clean yourself. I would like to give feedback directly to the owner or manager, but never see anyone around. read more

I bought the $12 wash because it was the one in the middle so I thought it would at least dry the car. Nope car came out dripping wet and all the little droplets dried leaving a nice spotty car with foam all over the back. I guess if you must go there being a towel. Won't be going back. Side note...
