**update to the last cater review** The manager of Valhalla reached back out to us last week to us and offer us food to make up for the mishap. They definitely did more than what we anticipated. They gave up 2 wonderful boxes of sandwiches and 2 salads (one arugula and one Mac salad). Our team rave on the sandwiches. Thanks for taking the effort and time on taking care of the customers.

My sandwich confused me. It had so much goo it could not be cut in half without squishing all over. I ordered the carne asada torta. The idea was good, but putting it all together made an indescribable mess on the plate and my palate. Way too much mayo, that lacked the promised Chipotle flavor. There were a lot of pickled onions that should have helped cut the richness. But with the mess of a lot of avocado, cheese and mayo, all I tasted was a rich mish mosh. I couldn't even taste the beef. It was greatly overshadowed. So many calories wasted on this lunch! Great roll though. My other had the Thanksgetting. He liked his, and thats why I'm giving a 3 rating.

This place came highly recommended from some of the guys at the office and yes, they knew what they were talking about. So many choices I'm definitely gonna have to come back. I loved every bite of my sandwich and already have an idea of what I wanna get next time. I am there.

4.6/5 Wow, just came across this place on Instagram. It was a post about their new "thankgetting" sandwich. The funny thing is, this came fresh after me watching an episode of friends where someone eats Ross's thanksgiving sandwich (the moist maker lol). The algorithm must have heard me and I'm glad it did. This place scratched the moist maker itch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance - just a pick up counter, open kitchen in the back and a handful of seats.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service - only interact when ordering or dropping off food. She was nice and friendly. Food - these are some FIRE sandwiches. Mine had a turkey, BACON, gravy, cranberries and a stuffing "patty" and it was delicious. These aren't clean sandwiches lol, you will make a mess, but so worth it. The tots were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and it paired well with their chipotle mayo. I also had a cup of their tomato soup which was actually one of the better ones I've had. No complaints about the food. This is gonna be a new staple for me. My only complaint is their menu is HUGE, gonna take awhile to try everything, but I look forward to it lol.

Picked up 2 sandwiches for lunch and we were a little surprised when we opened the bag and found 2 small boxes. The sandwiches are pretty small so they didn't fill us up all the way but we really enjoyed both the super chicken deluxe and the el duderino! Both were juicy and had tons of flavor. Only complaint is that I wish they were a bit larger!

My family and I stopped by to get sandwiches to bring to Luther Burbank Park. This was our first time trying Valhalla Sandwiches and we're excited for a nice picnic in the park. We ordered online ahead of time and got the CARNE ASADA TORTA and the BUDDHA CALL sandwich. The CARNE ASADA TORTA had carne asada, jack cheese, pickled onions, avocado, salsa verde, chipotle mayo and cilantro on a telera roll. The Mexican flavors were all there, but there wasn't a whole lot of meat and hard to find the meat as it was covered with sauce and onions. The BUDDHA CALL had roasted sweet potato, sauteed spinach, roasted red peppers, crimini mushrooms, manchego cheese, and garlic tahini on a telera roll. This sandwich was our favorite out of the two as it was packed with sweet roasted veggies and the machengo and tahini complemented the veggies well. Make sure to bring extra napkins because these sandwiches are extremely SAUCY- you MUST like sauce and condiments to enjoy these sandwiches. Overall, I would say Valhalla is on par with Homegrown, but perhaps with more variety and unique creations. 4/5 for sandwiches

The earlier you come the more likely you will get to eat the delicious pastries, but if you come past 11 AM you likely won't find much. Their croissants are always on the menu, but many of their pastries are seasonally available so you have to come back. I haven't tried their sandwiches yet, but those pastries are amazing. The staff here are so nice too! Super tolerant as my indecision took over my brain seeing so many pastries! I think not having anyone behind me helped with that - a rare slow moment - because once the door opened I waved the white flag, asked them to pick me 3 of their favorites and off I went. The only problem with that is I can't recall the names of what I bought. The croissant, easy. The little puffy pastry with big sugar flakes and apricot that was very light? No clue except it was delicious.

The menu is quite small with three cold sandwiches and three hot ones, each inspired by a different region of the globe with the South Pacific, South America and Mediterranean as a few examples. There were two salads listed as well. I've been here twice and both times, when I went to place my order on the iPad, the menu stated they were out of stock for the sandwich that I wanted. However, when I asked the employee, she said that was not correct. So if you see the same message when ordering, it's worth asking about it! During my first visit, I ordered the RENDANG ($14). This hot sandwich came packed with SO much meat! Very tender chunks of marinated beef tasted of coconut, curry and warm spices. The flavor had true depth and I could actually taste hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. Thin spears of pickled cucumber and carrot added crunch and a perfect zing of acidity. They were refreshing and cut through the rich beef. A drizzle of Sambal Terasi (chili) aioli gave it another layer of flavor. Cilantro, mint and Thai basil were all fresh and vibrant. The bread was lightly toasted, being a little crinkly in texture without being harsh against my gums. If I could change something, I would include a couple extra slices of the cucumber to balance out the ratio of vegetables to meat, and add a bit more of the aioli. Other than that, this is a great sandwich influenced by flavors of the South Pacific. My companion got the STEAK sandwich ($15) and enjoyed it. The steak slices were thinly cut and tender as well. They do their beef right! On another occasion, I tried the PROSCIUTTO ($14), one of their cold sandwiches. The delicate layers of prosciutto were placed on top of sliced tomatoes, pickled onion and arugula, all between pressed focaccia bread. Truffle mustard was spread on both pieces of bread, which was WAY too much in my opinion. With this mustard having a stronger flavor, it overpowered the sandwich and made it too tangy, especially in combination with the pickled onions. The menu stated this should include pistachios, but I didn't notice any, and they were all out of provolone, so there was also an absence of cheese. For the prices, these sandwiches are pretty generous in size, so I consider them a good deal, especially for the Bellevue area. The ingredients are fresh and make for a fantastic lunch option. While I wasn't a huge fan of the Prosciutto sandwich, I'd definitely go back again for another Rendang!

It looks and feels like a converted gas station with minimum tables inside, a few games, and a larger outdoor seating area under where the pumps used to be. The experience is largely hands-off but not fast food. There are tablets that customers can place their orders, drinks are in a fridge nearby, and they have a few beers on tap. Everything is made to order so it isn't instant and the prices are more similar to a sit-down restaurant with full service. When the order is ready a number is called and it is in a nondescript, thin paper bag that easily tears. My experience has been very inconsistent here. There have been moments that the burger is the best burger on the Island with it being juicy and savory, every bite being better than the last. There have been times that I question why I even try because the burger is overcooked, unremarkable slab of meat. I can't comment on the service as I have had very little interaction with them. When I calculated how much it cost to have a burger, fries, and wine here plus tip I struggled justifying returning when per meal it broke down to how much I pay at any of the Island's full service restaurants with the exception of two. Interesting concept with inconsistent results.
